MILTON.

MILTON. SHAKLEBOLT.

Paulie was laughing AGAIN. A hardy, gut kinda laugh. Choco King with Vivs, though. Haaaaaaaaaaah. He hadn't really been that close to either of those two at that point, but now that she mentioned the kiss, he believed he was beginning to remember. Probably. Oh, those Ravenclaws.

"Oh, Lottie! I know Lottie," Paulie smiled. Yep. Paulie liked Lottie. But anyway, she was still talking about Choco King. "Yeah, he's got a kid now!" And that was... weird. Very weird. The fact that Paulie's friends had kids was still hard to fathom. Like.... little Choco Kings......

Weird.

Aah, as expected. The anti-love potion was indeed a sham. Oh, but what was this he heard? She was naturally immune to love? "'S that so?" He gave a smirk. "Well, who knows then. Maybe Helen's potion worked after all."

It was funny how the fountain seemed to be saying more and more with that one colour it hardly dished out. "Fancy." Lex glanced at the fountain then back at him. "Starting to wonder if there's anything that red doesn't mean." With the way he was going, it might soon have a dozen translations.

And then he went laughing like she'd said the funniest thing he'd heard in well over a year.

Lex blinked and stared and waited for him to get it out of his system. Not for the life of her could she figure out what was so funny. The fact he knew Lottie made the conversation smoother. " S'what I heard. Me and Lottie were a bit worried about what genes he'd be passing on to the poor creature,"....so babies weren't her thing...."but there's no real way of telling just yet."

By some great miracle the baby could be a lot like the mother and absolutely nothing like the father.

There was a single shake of her head. "Doubt it. If nothing else, her little 'potion' might have left me cursed to it if I wasn't so dead set against it." Love...liking people...eh, no thanks. "So how come you call her Helen?"

AND not to mention the fact that the very action of revealing that you ‘fancy’ someone was quite reminiscent of grade school. So sorry she wasn’t jumping out of her chair to proclaim it. But if everyone must know, Tiffany fancied the heck out of Ezra Bellamy. She F-A-N-C-I-E-D him. OKAY? Dear Merlin. She fancied him and hated herself for it and him a bit for rubbing it in her face. To which she only gave him a look along the lines of ‘yeah, yeah I get it’. Merlin. She really was losing now, wasn’t she? It was a new sensation all together. Losing. Ew. Made her sound likes such a -criiiiinge- loser.

But you know, she didn’t mind losing all too much if it meant she got to watch Ezra embarrass himself every now and then. Oh yes, she had seen. And she wasn’t going to let it go either, oh no. She was gonna giggle and give him a funny little smile about it aaaaall night. He had a tendency to be quite the klutz, did he know? It was very endearing. Ahem.

”Mhmm,” she couldn’t bring herself to respond with actual words because that meant she’d have to ignore the fact that her heart was racing. They had danced together before, but that was on an actual dance floor. This was… in public, y’know? Granted she had a feeling that this second date of theirs was going to go well, but she didn’t think it’d go THIS well. For Merlin’s sake, they were dancing in the middle of the bloody Leaky Cauldron. This was a scene straight out of one of those cheesy muggle romantic comedies that her mother always raved about. Luckily all this dancing and balance stuff was a natural gift of heres, so she didn’t really have to think all that hard about it. Though she did like that Ezra was taking the lead. He really wasn’t a terrible dancer. He was quite good. It wasn’t even his feet that seemed to be spazzing out. His feet were actually doing quite fine, he was a proper professional. But what was he doing with his mouth?

She gave him an amused little grin, but didn’t say anything as she didn’t want to ruin the moment. They were DANCING in the middle of the LEAKY CAULDRON. What a moment, indeed. And then what. Speaking of moments. She was going to need a moment to comprehend the kiss he left on her forehead. What the what. Sweet Merlin. But she wasn’t given a moment ‘cause he was asking her a question now and couldn’t he see she was busy??? Not only did she have to think about dancing but she had to think about dancing with HIM, the movements of her feet, the kiss he just planted on her forehead, and now she had to think about the kiss he was going to— Wait. The brunette let out an embarrassing giggle, and opted for nodding her head in reply. Merlin, she didn’t need to say anything else to make her look like even more of a fool, which is exactly why she bit down on her lower lip while she nodded.

Man. Ezra was such a romantic. Don’t tell him, but she sorta loved it.

Ezra returned her funny smile with a half smile of his own, as if done the entire thing on purpose just to get her attention. That was obviously what had happened. Ezra Bellamy? Clumsy? Of coooourse not. His smile turned sheepish. Yeah, okay maybe a little. But don't tell anybody. For all he knew she would be spreading the news to all her little friends and he'd never live it down. Imagine Jasmine with that information. Merlin, no. That was simply not allowed. The entire population of Britain would know before long if that information ever got into her hands.

He hesitated slightly before leaning even closer, his blue eyes turned down to her lips as she giggled. Was it just him or was Tiffany doing that a lot more frequently. Not that he had any complaints, oh no. No complaint in the slightest. The more the better, really. With one last uncontrollably giddy smile, he put a finger under her chin and tilted it upwards gently because hellloooooo height difference. He loved that. The height difference, that is. Even when she had heels on, which was always. He loved that too. Ahem. Bellamy. Snogging, remember? The game had gone on much too long without this, there was really no denying it. Merlin, this had to be some sort of record. Had to make it count, yeah? He waited another second which might as well have been an eternity before letting his eyelids flutter closed, tilting his head sideways because if they had a nose collision incident there was a good chance he'd drop dead on the spot. Ezra Bellamy knew how to snog, alright? If he weren't so accomplished already he may as well have put it on his resumé. Right.

He placed his other hand against Tiffany's cheek and then his lips firmly against hers, pressing his eyes shut even tighter as he pulled away far too early. Ezra opened one eye and then the other, looking everywhere but at her. This was a very...public place, wasn't it. He swallowed the urge to order the rest of the customers to sod off, finally looking back in Tiffany's general direction when he'd determined that he wouldn't faint or something ridiculous like that. His eyes locked with her and he leaned right back down again to plant a gentler kiss on her lips. Merlin, this surely wouldn't do. He straightened up and brought his hand down to hers, nodding in the direction of the door. "We should go." His blue eyes searched her face as he gave her hand a squeeze, trying to concentrate on walking and getting his heart to calm down with its incessant pounding. He picked up his jacket from the chair and draped it over his shoulder before turning to face her again. "I'll...er...cook for you. You know, food is important." Hopefully she wouldn't notice that they were already somewhere where food could be served, but he was fully prepared to drop dead if he remained in the presence of people other than Tiffany for much longer. His flat wasn't too far from here, alright? It made SENSE kind of. "I promise not to poison you...probably," he added, trying to cover the pleading note in his voice with a playful grin. Totally. He wasn't going to pass out or anything, nope. Bellamy's didn't do that, especially not in the presence of people. So there Ezra stood, his head cocked towards the door, grinning like an absolute idiot and not caring the slightest bit.

Okay fine maybe he cared a little bit but this wasn't the greatest moment to be looking idiotic, alright?

Yes, of course she was right. Paulie was pulling all these meanings of red right out of his bum. They both knew that, though.

The laughter did eventually subside, you know. And Lex continued about the little Choco person that Miltaryn had made. "True, true," Paulie nodded with a smile. "Reckon he'll be a good dad, though." Milton was fun, and he was a pretty good guy when all was said and done. Paulie didn't know the sex of the lil' Choco person, but he was SURE that Milton would be ALL kinds of protective over that little baby, especially if it were a girl.

"Taryn, on the other hand.." He thought aloud. THAT was another story. She was always sooooo fond of hating on Paulie, and Paulie was basically just an oversized kid, so who knew how she'd act towards an ACTUAL kid.

"And why are ya so 'dead set against it,' then?" Hmm? He looked at her for an answer.

But ah, yes. The story behind 'Helen.' "Well, her full nickname's 'Helen of Hogwarts,'" he grinned, enjoying this opportunity to explain. "Gave it to her back at school when my best mate and his arch enemy both had the hots for her. After Helen of Troy, 'course." The good old days. Brazil Nut VS the noble best friend for the likes of Helen of Hogwarts.

And then Paulie Foster to stir the pot like none other. Life always cast him for the important roles, you know.

"Incidentally, I'm mates with the arch enemy too these days," he said off-hand.

It had grown into the odd sort of conversation, the kind where one discussed the spawn of Milton and his parenting skills....two things Lex had been sure she would never need to talk about so forgive her if this whole thing was more than just a little surreal.

Paulie had a point though, the guy couldn't be so bad as a father. "If nothing else, the kid'll know to scream the moment a man eating plant grabs it and tell off the people that ultimately make sure it doesn't end up dead." In short, the child would be the persistent sort of person that didn't die. As annoying as that could be, there was no denying that living was a nice thing to do. "Don't really know much about the mother 'cept she and him packed cow pies in the Headmistress' Office before graduating." It'd been the talk of the train that ride back and Lex had reluctantly given the guy his props.

Alexa considered him carefully for a moment, wondering why it even mattered that she was so dead set against that horrid state of being that could royally screw you over. Her shoulders rose slightly in an attempted shrug. "Just am. There's nothing appealing about it and I don't need it to get things." Something she'd proven over and over again. Quite the waste of time it was.

As he went on to explain the whole 'Helen' thing, the young woman found it harder to keep a straight face. It wasn't possible. They weren't still talking about Louisa Carter. There was just no way.

"Wait. We mean Lou here, right? Still talking about the overly practical, forever literal, ice queen that repels people on purpose?" This was hilarious. Lex hadn't known Louisa a tremendous amount of time before the Vivi/Vickers thing happened and that might have been why it was so hard seeing Lou give anyone--TWO anyones any impression they had a chance; so much so that they were fighting over her. Wow.

"How'd that one end?" And why had she never mentioned this? Could have made for a good story time.

How in Merlin's name did she let this happen? She had practically sworn to herself that she wouldn't end up falling for another guy like Ezra and then here she was. And he was quite literally sweeping her off her feet. And you know what? She wasn't even upset about it. Thoughts about losing the game were so far in the past that they seemed almost unattainable. How could she have let herself get caught up in all of that anyways? This wasn't really about a stupid game, was it? It was about being happy. And Ezra Bellamy sure did make her happy. And she wasn't nearly as upset about it as she ought to be. She was actually enjoying herself.

Here she was thinking she had shown up to their second date ready to take him down. Yet she was standing in the middle of the courtyard with her lips pressed against his. Kissing. Kissing in the courtyard at the Leaky Cauldron. Well there's another one to go on the list of things she never thought she'd end up doing. Merlin, is this what it felt like to disregard whatever your brain is telling you? 'Cause her brain was clearly telling her that Ezra was bad news. But she had stopped listening ages ago.

When Ezra pulled away, she tried hard not to look too disappointed. And she truly hoped that she didn't look too frazzled either, but the pink in her cheeks probably gave that much away so really there was no hope in that wish. "Yes, please," she blurted out without even thinking. She was just way too embarrassed about dancing in the middle of the courtyard to even want to sit here for any longer. Nevermind the fact that they hadn't even eaten yet. Ezra was offering to cook. How sweet! Ahem. Not that she wasn't used to men wanting to cook for her. 'Cause you know, she was Tiffany Price. "Well, only if you promise," she grinned widely as she grabbed her purse from the back of her chair and began walking towards the exit, only turning around to check that Ezra was following behind her.

Well, this night was full of surprises. Forget winning the game. She completely destroyed it.

After a very very long work day at St. Mungos Axel made his way over to Diagon Alley to relax the rest of the day. He went through the leaky cauldron with two cups of coffee. He might owled a certain young woman to join him if she wasn't busy today to join him.

He really liked spending time with her. He hoped that she did too. They had really been spending a lot of time together lately and wasn't sure where it was going. Had it really been that long since he dared that he didn't know what it was or was it something else? He had no idea.

Walking into the courtyard, the healer looked around for a nice spot to sit down at. Maybe a nice sunny spot since in the weather was a bit cold out but not to cold that it was freezing or you'd drink a cup of coffee sitting out here to keep warm. He found a table in off to the side and sat there, waiting to see if Lynnia was coming.

She had received the invitation and was happy to except it. She had thought about the last few weeks and how their little meeting at the bar the first night had set them on a path to become a bit closer. She was still being rather guarded since her feelings were a mixture, but she did enjoy seeing him and spending time with him.

After working a few hours on her glass piece she got cleaned up and ready for their date? meeting? lunch? She wasn't sure what to call it, but anyway she headed to Diagon Alley and to the Leaky. Not needing to go in she noticed him sitting outside and headed over.

"Hello, I hope I'm not running late."

He sat the other container of coffee across from him. In a this seat is saved for some reason kind of way. He sipped on his coffee while he waited. It was just nice to be off of work and his feet. He was in good shape and all but still the long hours took its troll. And it wasn't that he didn't love his job. He did. Lately he was really enjoying his free time and days off and who he was spending time with.

He had only been there a few minutes when he spotted her, waving to her he smiled as she walked over. He shook his head, "Just a little bit." He was only teasing her. He hoped that she got that he was teasing her. "I bought you a coffee it's still hot." Like her. He grinned and nodded toward the coffee and seat. "How has your day been?" Trying to keep it causal and trying to figure out what this was exactly.

She smiled as she sat down, "Well sometimes it's good to keep men waiting." She was joking, but it was a truthful type of joke. She still felt a bit guarded with everything that had gone on around her in the past month or so. She had been torn between the two and now it seemed she didn't have to be, yet part of her still was. Pushing those thoughts out of her mind she just wanted to enjoy today and time with him.

"My day? Oh it's been alright." Picking up her coffee she took a sip, "Just the way I like it. I'm impressed you remembered." Points for Axel on that one. "Just been around the house working on some new projects." He had seen her work before and even learned how she did it.

He kept sipping his coffee and watching her. Smiling he sat down the cup. What kind of guy would he be if he didn't bring her coffee. If she didn't like coffee he would have bought her tea instead. Or something she did like. Plus coffee was a good reason to get to see her again. Grinning and giving her a little shrug. "I'm not that tired really," He pointed at the cup. That was the only thing keeping him awake. Oh and seeing her. "I suppose so." He smiled. He wasn't one to brag about his job or anything.

He listened to her talking. Nodding "Not too much longer before the season starts. I still owe you a game." See he didn't forget. "I'm sure you'll get into one. You're stuff is good." He had fun learning how to do the glass art. He had his on the countertop at home. "Great. I can't wait to see them." He was a bit surprised by her hand on his. But he didn't move at when her hand rested on his. He just grinned, a small grin but on the inside he was grinning widely.

"Food? That sounds fine with me." He couldn't live off of St Mungos cafeteria food. So he might have not eat in quiet while so. Yes, food was a great idea. This might be turning out better than he planned.

Minerva felt a little nervous if she really admitted it. She hadn't seen her old professor in sometime and had been reluctant to owl her after her seventh year. She at the time felt she would disappoint her in the way her life had turned out, but now she was proud of her little life. She had two of the sweetest and fun loving children, she had been married for five years now, and she was working at a job that she was very passionate about. Things were good.

Looking around she decided an outside seat would probably be best with children . "How about this table you two?" Looking towards Chloe and Gunnar before heading to the table. Pulling over an extra seat to make sure they had enough she got her children in their chairs. "Are you hungry?"

Chloe had her mommy's hand and looked around. They have been to this place a few times, but not often enough for her to really know it. She wanted to explore, but knew better to not let go of mommy's hand. Looking over at her brother she wondered if he knew what they were doing. She wasn't sure why mommy made her wear a dress. Pulling at it she stomped a bit.

"I want that one." she pointed to the other side of the courtyard, but mommy was still pulling them over to another table. Climbing on the seat she sat down and looked up over the table, "I ungry!"

Stomach growling, Lux made her way to the Leaky Cauldron.

Eating sounded like a great idea right now, and she still had some weight to gain back from the end of last term. Wolfing down cheeseburgers and fries as well as pizza and ice cream was nice, but today she was in the mood for something more along the lines of a sandwich.

After receiving her food and a water, she headed outside to the courtyard so that she could read as she ate. Right now she was in the middle of a crime novel and she couldn't wait to reach the twist at the end.

Choosing a spot at a back corner, she took a seat and dug the book out of her purse. Opening it, she alternated between reading and taking bites of her turkey sandwich.

Gunnar walked on the opposite side of Mommy, holding her other hand. He came here with Daddy not too long ago when he went to the Gobstones place and then went to see Regina and the baby. Were they going to go see them again? He looked around at everything as they walked. There were a lot more people here this time.

Blue eyes snapped to his mother and the table she asked them about. "Okay, Mommy." He didn't really care either way, they were all about the same to him. Just tables, nothing exciting. He climbed into his chair mostly on his own because he was a big boy and he looked over at his sister as she said she was hungry. "I want nuggets."

Could this seventeen year old be anymore hungry then what she was right now? Walking out of the leaky cauldron, hands full with food and butterbeer. Balancing the tray she made her way to a table. Cinna had some mad waitressing skills going on. She could totally work in a restaurant as a waitress. She might have to look into this. If I wasn't for her internship at O-Star she could work somewhere and make the money.

Anyway, speaking of said internship she had been there all day, so food was happening. Finally the summer seem to be coming together. After losing her Nana a few weeks ago, and the spider nightmares were less intense sometimes this was turning out to be a pretty good summer. One that she never wanted to end. For many reasons.

Why did there have to be so many people out today? She couldn't find a table she was about to go back inside and eat until she spotted red hair. Lux's red hair. Smiling she headed over and plopped down across from her. "Hey!"

She seen that she was reading, but she didn't care. She wouldn't mind that she was sitting with her. They were friends again. After all there are somethings you can't share without ending up liking each other and getting kidnapped by acromantulas was one of them.

Welp.

Looked like she wasn't destined to get much reading done. That was okay, since it was Cinna who interrupted her. Lux actually wouldn't have minded if anyone had though, because she loved to chat. "Hey!" she said as her friend took a seat without even asking first. Lux liked that, because it wasn't as if permission was needed anyway.

Anyone could join in; the more the merrier!

Bookmark in place on the page she left off on, Lux set the book back in her purse. "You get a lot of shopping done today?" Because she hadn't. Not yet at least. There was a to do list in her bag that needed to be conquered. If she gave herself a few tasks to complete in a day, it was less overwhelming for her. There were still some sleepless nights happening despite the potions, so she was tired.

Now she could sit down and eat. She looked up after taking a big bite of cheeseburger, as soon as she took a seat. She didn't mean to interrupt Lux and her reading but when she seen her she couldn't help but too go over and talk to her.

"Hey, no I haven't. I haven't done any of my school shopping." To be completely honest she was going keep putting off buying her school things, she wasn't ready to be a seventh year yet. And she sure wasn't ready to go back for lots of reasons. "What are you doing? Have you gotten your things?"

Yummy.

Cinna with her cheeseburger was making Lux want one. But she had a turkey sandwich and a break from the burger and fries was awesome. She was almost back to her original weight, yaaaay.

Taking a bite of her lunch, she had to admit that she wasn't surprised that Cinna hadn't started her shopping yet. She was going back to Hogwarts for Seventh Year and that had to be hard even though she was the tougher one of the two.

"I was reading to procrastinate," she admitted. Well, that and she actually REALLY wanted to know how the book ended. It wasn't anything that couldn't wait a while longer though. "I got some of my things, but I'm not getting everything all at once. I got a new wand the other day though." That was the most important thing that had been on her list. "I'd rather do something like bowling. Or get a tattoo.." Okay, maybe not a tattoo...but she missed the mermaid body art.

For Alayna/Sabel <3

With her meeting concluding earlier than expected, and with Zeke otherwise occupied, Emily was at her leisure in the Alley. It was with good spirits that she set herself up in the courtyard of the Leaky Cauldron for a midday refresher, enjoying the sun on her face. It had been too long since she'd been in town, for this length of time at least, and there were some she needed to catch up with. It was for this reason she waited, two glasses of fire whiskey (for old times sake) waiting on the table in front of her.

The seventh year was nearly halfway done with her cheeseburger and she started nomming on some of her french fries. She didn't care food was her friend. She watched as Lux eat her turkey sandwich. That looked yummy too.

Okay maybe she should slow down to the food. She need to be fatten herself up for anything. At least she had been working out, especially after all of the food she has been consuming lately.

She took a sip of butterbeer, and nodded. Yep, procrastination was also her friend. She just wasn't ready to think about going back yet. Not with no Bart, no Emmy and even no Lux not coming back. Oh good she had gotten a new wand. "That's great. Every good witch needs one you know?" She let out a laugh. A smirk went across her face. "Let's do just that!" Of course she was referring to the tattoo. But more importantly more methods of procrastination. Woohoo. And fun times! Double woohoo. They should totally go get tattoos.

Being late wasn't often a thing for him, but ever since the events of the semester, he found that getting through Diagon Alley involved several detours and random turns that ate up the minutes faster than a two year old and cherrios.

Still, he wasn't incredibly late. Having known such ventures were taking longer, Sabel had left early and so arrived, somewhat early. New fears however, were quickly erased by old memories as he caught sight of the woman in the courtyard.

With a grin that couldn't be contained, though he tried to work it into something of deliberating displeasure, Sabel made his way over to Emily and plopped down in the seat beside her. No hugs off the bat because as with all Auror's he knew, old habits died as hard as old fears.

"I can't believe I'm going to say this, but motherhood fits you quite well."

It wasn't the easiest of tasks to completely unwind in public, and as a result she was conscious of all movements in the courtyard. Naturally, Sabel's arrival had not escaped her notice as he approached and claimed his seat opposite. The comment however, was something else entirely.

"That's really funny, but don't go quitting your day job just yet... I hear you're quite good at it." But on a serious note, "It's good to see you."

Sabel let out a soft scoff. "Who'd you hear that load of owl dung from? Don't you know I have a reputation for making children cry?" Because of no chocolate, patronus charms, hard truths or apparently spying on them for their parents. It was all melding together.

Just like his grin with the deliberating expression. The grin, and the amusement, was definitely winning out.

"It's good to see you too. All in one piece." And with that, it was time for hugs. It was practically an invitation for a hug, so he leaned over and gave Emily a big ol' bear hug. "Knock any heads together?"

The comment about every good witch needing a wand caused Lux to snort. Probably nooot the best idea when in the middle of eating.

Choking a little, she took a sip of her water. Nothing to see here.

Of course Cinna would jump at the idea of getting a tattoo even if Lux hadn't been completely serious about it. Honestly, even if she DID want to get a tattoo, she saw herself as a coward. This was probably the reason why the sorting hat had not placed her in Gryffindor; Bay and Cinna were a lot braver than her. This was why Cinna was really looking forward to getting a tattoo on top of any other form of procrastination.

"What if I chicken out at the last minute?" Because that was very possible.
