The Leaky Cauldron sits auspiciously as part of the Muggle World, the portal to Diagon Alley. Stepping out the back door of the Leaky Cauldron, it leads to the open patio that is deceivingly large. Once inside the Courtyard the stone path circles around the green area, which is a popular place for young children to relax upon during summer holidays and is also a popular place for, people to lie out and have lunch.
On the green, a tall stone fountain sits and waits for a lucky sickle or two to find its way to the bottom of the fountain. However, the incredible thing about the fountain is the stone is rests upon. The stone floor underneath and surrounding the fountain is charmed to light up with each step a person makes on the stone floor. The color traces the outside of the traveler’s foot and each new step is a fresh new color.
Out on the green surrounding the fountain is the home to a garden of flowers that are freshly planted. Each little patch of flowers is also charmed by Harley to smell of a different kind of treat at the Leaky Cauldron, i.e.. Butterbeer Flowers.
Off to the side of the Courtyard, a winding stone pathway leads to a quaint little pond filled with a hundred carp fish that Ryoma had specially imported from Japan. This little pond is tucked in the back of the Courtyard and serves as a little treat to all who happen upon it. Next to the pond is a simple wooden box with a money hole in the top. Dispense ten sickles and the box produces fish food to feed the carp.
Ryoma and Harley ask that everyone, including little witches and wizards, pick up after himself or herself.

Taking a bright orange water balloon she weighted it in her hand before bringing her arm back and throwing it as hard as she could at a window. Colin grinned as he felt a water balloon on his back. THAT WAS THE SPIRIT! ALL the brownie points! Oooh. And it was Evelina. He should have known. He smirked at her. "I've got a wicked arm, ya know?" he said still sporting his evil grin.
He tossed a bright pink balloon at the inn as if to prove his point.
He then grabbed another balloon and tossed it up and caught it several times. "Moving targets are more just." Just sayin'. Now run pretty lady! Colin was itchin' to throw one your way.

More blushing? Charlie found this whole thing fascinating. She hadn't done anything even remotely blush inducing, had she? Or if she had, she wasn't aware of it. What she was aware of, however, was the guy's nerves. Poor dude seemed extremely nervous. "You know I wasn't being completely serious about a fancy restaurant, yeah?" And she tilted her head, an earnest expression on her face. "The pie part, though. I'm glad you listened to that." Grin. "I really do love pie." Oh. That was his hand...Charlie looked down and a small smile played on her lips as she laced her fingers with his. "We'd better hurry then."

She had just gotten off work at Mungo's and was hoping to get some shopping done before she had to get to her house calls later on that night. Tossing her bag to the side of her seat, the tall healer sat down and started eating her lunch, a turkey wrap with spicy mayo and lots of veggies.

I mean I will understand if it is too much of a problem though." Eliza sighed as Lucas let go of her hand and tried to tackle Jen but smiled as the baby cooed.

Lucas looked up at Jen and smiled sweetly, handing the phone to his mom, "I just wanted to see if it works, Auntie Jen." He giggled and gave her the sweet innocent look that he was known for. "You known just in case so you can take it and fix it before an emergency happens." He beamed up at her and smiled then started to play with his food until he noticed Eliza's glare at the playing. He then started to eat.

Aron had always liked summer. Summer meant more trips to the beach which meant he could snorkel which meant he could do some freelance Herbology work on the aquatic plant life off the coast. But today was not a beach day and they probably would not have a proper beach day for a while yet. Their son was not quite ready for all that sand and sun.
Gleefully pushing the pram along, Aron glanced to his side at Seren with one of those goofy new father looks on his face. Their first public appearance besides the Healer's as a family. He was going to savor every single moment.
"Where do you want to sit?"

Seren was excited, a bit tired, but excited nonetheless. The look on Aron's face, and Derfael's big blue eyes was all the motivation she needed to get out of the house. It was actually nice to get some sun, as a family, together... out and about. For once she wasn't focusing on work, or lessons or making plants to get as much done as possible in the break before school. It was time to relax, with her little family.

Pushing the pram forward a bit more, he settled for a spot near the koi pond that was also near some of the butterbeer smelling flowers. Certainly made you want to order a butterbeer, didn't it? Very good tactics there Leaky Cauldron shopkeeps. Very good indeed. Aron set the pram in the shade and then pulled out a seat for Seren to sit in. "You want anything?" he asked, already shoving his hands in his jean's pocket for his wallet. He was going to order himself a butterbeer...and maybe a sandwich.

Superb location Mister Ashburry-Hawthorne, Seren thought to herself as she took the seat he pulled out for her. Her attention immediately went to their bundle of joy, sitting in his pram like the little Prince that he was. Seren started pulling happy scrunchy faces, but paused at Aron's question.
"A gillywater?" she asked uncertainly, "or a tea... surprise me." The Leaky didn't exactly have a selection of herbals, to her knowledge, so she wasn't phased. "Oh, and a raspberry cheesecake." Yep. She still had cravings, occasionally. Not of the apple variety, she may have had enough of apples for a lifetime.

Aron gave his wife a quick peck on the cheek and then leaned down to give his son one on the forehead before heading into the Leaky Cauldron to buy some food. He seriously hoped that they had everything Seren wanted on the menu, because he was still pretty darn sure that he would be sent all over town looking for raspberry cheesecake if they didn't. Here he had been hoping that the cravings would stop once Derfael ha officially come into their lives. But, alas, that had not been the case.
He was convinced that she was just milking her new mother mood swings, but would never say so out loud.
Emerging from the Leaky Cauldron about ten minutes later with a tray of food, he made his way back over to his family and set it down on the table. "One iced nettle tea for you with a raspberry cheesecake," he said as he set both in front of Seren. "And an avocado and turkey sandwich with a butterbeer for me." He gazed down at his son and melted into those big blue eyes. "Does he need a bottle?"

Seren grinned at Aron's kiss. How she got so lucky, she didn't understand. But she was very grateful he hadn't given up on chasing her, because she couldn't imagine life with anyone else. He was a good seedling. And speaking of seedlings....
It was a good thing Derfael wasn't very fussy, or at least, he wasn't yet... which was one of the reasons a public outing became an option. Rubbing his little chest with her wiggling finger, she watched as his facial expressions changed from curious to surprised to giggly. Perhaps she was a bit biased, but she was convinced that he was the cutest baby in the world. "Oh yes you are, oh yes you are," she babied with her own sunshine bright expression.
"Have I told you that you're wonderful?" she asked, tilting her head and grinning as he set the food down on their table. Oooooh, bottle. "Err... maybe... probably," Seren concluded, thinking when they last fed him.
Tea Right, she had her tea now. after that awkward run in with Damon and his wife she swiftly went into the leaky ordered a fresh cup of tea with honey payed for it and went out to the courtyard. Sure it was hot out and the more obvious choice of beverage would of been something cool but Ariana needed to calm down cause her nerves were quite shot specially after the term she just endured at Hogwarts. Crazy things do happen there, and every year it was something else. Could they just have a normal year once, with no visitors, or man eating plants or DEMENTORS. that would be lovely. but that was just too much to ask for right? Finding a table she finally went to sit down when she caught her foot on the bottom of the chair and she fumbled forward her tea jumping from her hands and landing on the table, seat and floor all together. her tea was spilled and she was mad.

raising her eyebrows she stared at the girl, just stared.. really? who did she think she was? this one needed a reality check. she looked over at her book "surely you know the cleaning charm i just used to just clean that up." yes, she could do it herself. Ariana was no charity case she didnt help others she didnt know "Maybe you should have, it would of done the world a favor." of not having to deal with you.. merlin this girl had a sassy mouth.

Though it wasn't as though she couldn't afford it. This one probably couldn't though. Her clothes were a fright.
Oh and she thought she was witty. Kalla slowed clapped as she fixed her with a bored look. "Trust me, that one REALLY hurt. Great insult... Said no one ever. You're not very bright are you?" Rhetorical question, really.

Edric held his hand wide open beneath the food dispenser and watched the tiny fish food spill out onto his palm. He handed half of it to Evelyn and poured the rest of it into the pond. The Japanese fish and a few birds all gathered around the spot where the food had landed, taking as much of it as they could.
"Have we got any napkins left?" asked the boy as he turned to Evs, brushing the leftover fish food from his palm.
The pair had been enjoying a quiet summer afternoon by the pond located in the back of the courtyard, sitting on the grass while feeding the carp and enjoying - or trying to enjoy - Edric's failed attempt at a salad wrap. As soon as the kids took the food into their hands, the wraps unfolded and spilled the contents all over the grass, causing a number of birds to flutter in the couple's direction. It had been at that moment that Edric decided he'd stick to buying food already made rather than prepare it himself.

Evelyn loved summer. Not only did she love the weather, the girl was also off classes for another one month AND she also got to spend more time with her troll of a boyfriend. Who was amazing enough to even prepare food for their little picnic. Even if the birds ate most of it. "I'm proud of you, Barlow. The wrap was really good." And she wasn't just saying that. It was great.
After lunch, they walked over to this cute little pond near the back of the courtyard. She watched the fish with interest for a little while before Edric handed her some fish food. Trying really hard not to make a face because the stuff rather smelled, she quickly poured it into the water. Taking out a few tissues from her bag, the girl handed over some to Edric and wiped her hands clean with the rest.
