This newest incarnation of the Daily Prophet is not so different from the old. It continues the proud tradition, since the 1880s, of providing all the news Wizarding Britain needs, and some of the news it really didn't.

Reception and Subscriptions The receptionist has been with the prophet for many years and has seen many changes. One of those changes is the policy to allow people in. Members of the public are welcome to come in and get a visitor pass from her then they can peruse an abbreviated archive of Daily Prophet editions, sign up for a subscription, speak with a journalist, or submit their own piece if they are a freelance writer. While they may not be able to explore the building in its entirety, the reception area welcomes the wizarding public to come and see their newspaper.
The Staff Work Space Whether they're covering crime, sports, Ministry happenings, fashion, gossip, politics, or the latest in Wizarding news, the Associate Editors can be found here. Each with their own desk area, Associate Editors also have a large table in the center of their space, for collaboration or meetings. These top-notch journalists, investigate leads and are the heart of the DP workforce. Answering directly to the Editor-in-Chief, the Associates' workspace is directly in view of the boss' office. Each staffer is welcome to decorate their workspace as they see fit, but there are also a collection of old copies of some of the Daily Prophets' biggest headlines as well as their biggest blunders hanging around the office for reminders of the great and not so great parts of the prophet.
The building may be new, but the history has returned.
Lounge and Breakroom Big, comfy chairs. Natural light streaming in through a skylight. Icy cold bottles of gillywater, always hot and ready to drink coffee, and a soda machine sit in the corner. Baskets of assorted snacks. This lounge is for Daily Prophet employees to take a break, eat their lunch, catch up with colleagues. It is also occasionally the site of an impromptu meeting or story collaboration. Hard work is made easier with a handful of licorice snaps, no?
Freelancers may only use this lounge at the invitation of a Daily Prophet employee.
Editor-in-Chief's Office Headed down a long corridor you'll come to a stop in front of the final door. This door is the office of the editor and chief. The name on the door might be quite long, but that name has sat in this office before. The name Jorge Cristo De La Garza sits on the god name plaque, though the door might not even be closed. He does like to have an open door so that people feel more welcomed to come in if they need him. Though don't take his open door as an entrance for danger, no he had been attacked once in this very office so there are some protective charms at the door for anyone who isn't there just to report on news or have the next best story.
Walking into the office you can see that his wife had helped give it a woman's touch with the matching furniture and some pictures of his family. The desk has stacks of papers and notes scattered around, but it always has a tea and cups waiting for a brainstorming session or a meeting here and there. A few plants to help with the air in the room and to bring the positive vibes for clear thinking. His fireplace sits off to the left so that flooing home or to the ministry can be easy access. If you have come in to sit there are two chairs that are both equally comfortable for any guest he might have.

Background
Opal is a dropout WADA student turned blogger. Gary is a very quiet and reserved person. He rarely talks unless he was asked to. But he is not arrogant or something like that. But once you get to know him, he is a warm and kindhearted, a little bit overprotective sometimes to the person that he loves.
[ History ]
25 year-old Benji Rush came from a famous Canadian pureblood wizard family. He's hot, handsome, rich, and fun. Later he found a 18 year-old muggle girl named Florencia on his summer trip. They went out once and accidentally he got the girl pregnant. Benji promised that he's gonna take care of the baby once it's born and marry Flo. But sadly it was just a promise that he'd never fulfilled because on Valentine's day, he got an accident and dead on arrival. It made Flo went into a major depression and gave birth on March 30, five weeks earlier from her due date. Refusing to raise the baby alone, Flo left him to Lucas, Benji's big brother. She named the baby Alexander but then Luke fully-named him Gerald Alexander.
Little Gary then grew up with Luke and Gloria, along with their own kids Bianca and Bryan. He became a quiet and taciturn boy who developed interested in photography since he's nine years old. When he turned eleven, he was sent to Ilvermorny since they live in Massachusetts and still being a quiet kid. Later his uncle had to move to England for work reason and he had to move to Hogwarts.
Coming to Hogwarts, he was sorted into Slytherin house. Of course he still being a taciturn and slightly anti-social boy. On his seventh year, Professor Lafay and Truebridge chose him to be Head Boy. He's not really a successful leader though they did get the house cup and gobstones.
Graduating from school, Gary started working on a famous coffee-shop franchise as their barista. But then he left the job and started working as photojournalist for a famous mugggle-traveler magazine. As his former boss' recommendation, he quit and moved back to Canada, taking a degree in Journalism while also being a freelance contributor for National Geographic in Canada. Graduating from Concordia, Gary got an offer to work at the New Yorker. That's where he met Daniella Martin, a fashion model whom later became his girlfriend and in 2091, they got married in Vegas. Unfortunately the marriage didn't last long because Daniella filed a divorce and later in January 2093, they're both officially separated.
Struggling from his failed marriage and depression, Gary quit The New Yorker and started traveling around for six months. Later on he heard about an open position in Daily Prophet and he decided to apply there.

She's the youngest of 6, and all 5 of the others are all brothers. She's from right there in England. The previous summer however, she stayed at a flat that belonged to Ivan. Up until her 5th year, TJ went to Durmstrang, but once her brothers had all graduated, she was able to talk her father into letting her go to Hogwarts instead. She was placed in the Slytherin house, where she was til she graduated 2 years ago.

Louise is the oldest of three children, born on a cold, rainy Christmas morning in Seattle. She and her family moved to New York when she was three, in time for her sister to be born. The family then moved again two years later, to Atlanta, due to the high costs of New York. It was in Atlanta that the Hamilton family welcomed their third child and first boy, Theodore. It was only a few years later when the Hamilton family again moved to New Orleans, to which they remain there today.
Perhaps due to Louise heading off to Ilvermorny in Fall 2085, they wanted a permanent residence while their children were away, but whatever the case, while Louise doesn’t really remember Seattle and has a thirst for traveling, she’s grateful to finally have a place to call home.
Louise's time at Ilvermorny was, needless to say, magical. She thoroughly enjoyed her professors and made fabulous friends both in her own house and outside of it. She's a proud Thunderbird and extremely proud of her alma mater, but her thirst for travel really only just began during her time abroad in her seventh year. Having the opportunity to compete and represent her house in the IMPS competition was eye-opening for Louise Hamilton and while she wasn't convinced about university, she knew one thing for certain: She didn't want the adventures to end. In June 2093, when she said goodbye to Hogwarts and all of friends and professors made at the European Sister School, but also Ilvermorny students, Louise returned to New Orleans for the summer as per usual. This time, with her wand, as she was now a full-fledged grown witch.
When the summer ended and she saw her siblings off to school, she made the "rash" decision to backpack across Europe for a month, where she came to terms with a possibility that might allow her to keep having adventures. The Daily Prophet was hiring and as a journalist, this would open her eyes to new places, new faces, all the things an adventurer might want... a position that would suffice for now in her desire to "see the world".

An adventurer to the core, Louise has a deep desire to see the world, which is why when the opportunity came for Ilvermorny students to travel abroad for the International Magical Pupil Standoff, Louise was quick to gain permission from her parents.
