This is the corridor leading to the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes work area. The walls are a pleasant beige color, although every now and then there is a small burn mark on the floor or on the wall. Hmmm. Must be from a past experiment from the workers on this floor!

Aveira walked down the Third Level Corridor, looking for anything pink. Or, as it had been put, magenta. What a prissy word. She sighed and stood straight, glancing around. No guinea pig here. Merlin, she really hated rodents... And Mr. What's-His-Face for making her look for them. Why did the other McDean have to turn her boss into a guinea pig and not something with a bigger attention span or body size. Say, a dog? A hippo? A dragon? She could deal with those. But not a rodent...

Priya was walking around the ministry looking for something to do. It seemed as though everyone has disappeared from her department, so she decided to look for them. Upon entering the third floor corridor, she found Aveira who seemed to be searching for something. She walked up behind her and tapped her shoulder. "Hey, 'Veira. What are you looking for?" she asked as Priya knelt beside her.

"A pink... rat..." Aveira replied as she examined the area. No Sam here. Then, she turned around. Oh. Priya. Of course. "Mr. McDean, actually." She sighed and shoved both of her wands back in their holsters on either side of her hip. "It's Rodents Gone Wild in here. The other McDean turned him into a guinea pig and MLES has been assigned to find him. Evil little bugger... This was not part of the job description!"

"A pink rat?" she asked confusedly. "Why pink?" she shook her head, not really wanting to know why. "It's Mr. McDean?" Priya giggled slightly. That was funny. She really couldn't picture him as a pink rat. And then Priya remembered that Aveira was deathly afraid of rodents which made her laugh even louder. "You're right. It wasn't part of the job description, but i highly doubt that he planned it to be. Anyway, would you like some help? You know how i love animals." she replied. Hm. What would happen if she brought Ace, her dog to help look? Ace would probably get over excited and hurt her poor boss on accident. Oh well. She'd just have to use her own skills to help find him.

"You know the odd obsession the other McDean has with magenta," Aveira replied, scowling. "Help if you must. It's not funny, you know. If you're going to be of any help, don't be so loud. You'll scare our furry little boss away... He has the mind of a rat, so dont' give him a reason to be afraid. Th quicker we find him, the quicker things can become normal again." Normal. Superior figures running around as pink rodents... That wasn't normal.

"Actually, i haven't met the other McDean." Priya replied with a shrug. "I think i will help. It sounds like fun. I know it's not funny. I'm just trying to lighten the mood a bit." she sighed. and got onto her hands ans knees. "Sorry." she whispered and began looking around. "He has the mind of a rat too? This is going to be harder than i thought." she whispered to Aveira and began searching again.

Alex was walking down the corridor on her way to work. She spotted some people, but didn't have time to stop and chat. She was very late. She says to herself "Why did I choose today to wear heels?" Just then she trips and falls.

Lucas walked down the corridor. He hadn't been here before and there was a first for everything right. Well he wasn't going to walk down every single corridor because that would be strange although he thought it was good going down other Department corridors and having a look around. It didn't hurt to. Obviously, plus he just wanted a walk that's all. He stopped walking and leaned back against a wall, letting out a content sigh.

Pierre needed a break from work. He hadn't really looked around much of the Ministry and he decided that he wanted to familiarize himself with it. For some reason he found himself on the third floor, rather far away from his office. He looked around and spotted a familiar face leaning against the wall. He wasn't paying attention so Pierre walked over quietly. "Hey Lucas. Fancy seeing you here."

Huh? Woah, Lucas nearly jumped he was in his own world when Pierre walked over to him and spoke. Thankfully he didn't and he was alright and not that shocked although it was sneaky of him to do that. He wasn't paying attention after all. "Hey Pierre, yeah you too," yeah why where they here? Well he had no idea about Pierre but Lucas...had no idea himself. Well he wanted to a look around, yeah that's why he was here...right?

Pierre could tell that Lucas was a little shocked at seeing him. Not much, but slightly. Pierre then started to wonder why Lucas was here. "Why are you here?" It was a random place to be. Unless Lucas was doing the same thing that Pierre was. It always paid to get to know how your workplace looked.

Hmm, why was Lucas here? He knew that Pierre would ask that. "Well I just wanted to look around the different corridor Departments you know to see how different they are," he explained nodding his head. Yeah what a great explanation. "What about you?" he asked back. Surely he wasn't here for the same thing right?

Pierre waited patiently for Lucas to answer his question. He nodded his head as he explained. Same reason. Figured that. "Same reason. I just wanted to familiarize myself with the place more. Never know when that can come in handy." He liked knowing where he was and what was going on around him. It had been beneficial everytime before.

Hmm, same reason ey? So it was then. "Yeah that's true I mean one of us might want to be transferred and one of us might end up on this level or somewhere else," at least they would know where to go then and they wouldn't be lost. He didn't like being lost, it sorta made him feel stupid. Although getting lost didn't make anyone stupid, he felt like it did to him. "So how are you? We never really got a chance to finish our little conversation did we?" No because they had other stuff to do. Like finding out that Armen was their Department Head and also work.

Pierre nodded as Lucas gave a reason why. "Yeah, that way we could still talk if we got seperated." Knowing ways to places around the ministry would be easier. What if Pierre ever had to go deliver a message to someone form another department. "No we really didn't. I'm doing pretty good. And you?"

"Of course. It's good to know our way around then," Lucas finished with a brief nod. Actually he did like working in the Transportation Department and he had no reason to want to be transfered. Well that could change but it was highly unlikely. He shook his head at Pierre. That was bad though, although now they could. "Same myself actually, oh and I wanted to ask you maybe sometime you and me could have a game of football?" He was a bit rusty but he could take on the lad and possibly lose. Or he could win. Shiftyyy.

"Definately." Pierre was one of those people that couldn't stand being lost. But he was also the kind of person that was too stubborn to ask for directions. He liked to figure things out for himself. He didn't plan on moving down here anytime soon, but it never hurt to know your way around. "It is." Pierre's expression brightened at the mention of football. He hadn't played since that one day at school where the Cartwright kid almost took his head off. "Of course I'd love to play! Give me a time and a place and I'm in." He hoped his coordination was a little better. His aim was really off the last time they'd played.

Lucas nodded at Pierre. It was pretty weird having a conversation about why they were here and whatnot. But what they were doing now; exploring the Ministry was kinda like a back-up plan, they would know where to go if they had to go to another Department or if one of them got transfered. Plus Lucas never liked getting lost, he wouldn't ask anyone where to go neither, he preferred to find his own way. He was like that, he just liked to find out things for himself.

Hehe, now the look on Pierre's face made him chuckle. So they were going to have a game anytime soon. Thing is he needed to start practicing, he had no idea if he was going to go easy on the lad or not. Alright then. Time and place huh. Hmm, where could they place? His house? It was alright, had a big front garden to play. He could buy some muggle football nets too and put them in there. Of course he would just use magic to temporally hold the nets in place. "Alright then, how about my house. I've got a big garden and I'll just buy some nets and stick them in the garden with magic. Couldn't be too hard and it's a perfect place to play footie," finally! They were going to play a game. "Oh and I'll owl you my address seeing as I don't have an parchment on me at the minute," he never had any parchment to spare, plus he had no quill either. Or muggle pen or paper. Hehe, but it didn't matter much seeing as he could owl Pierre. Plus he could teach the bloke a couple of things.

Pierre didn't think they needed to talk about this topic anymore. He didn't think they really needed to worry about being moved anytime soon. He liked his job way too much.

Pierre raised an eyebrow as Lucas chuckled at him. What? He wasn't allowed to be excited about being able to play football. Psh. Then he said that they could play at his house. A big garden seemed like the perfect place to play. "That sounds perfect. Would you need me to bring a ball or anything?" He would bring anything that they would need that Lucas wouldn't have. "All right. I'll be watching for the owl then." That seemed like the conversation really didn't have anywhere else to go from there.

Now Pierre was raising an eyebrow at Lucas. Huh? What? Couldn't he chuckle at the look on his face? "What man? The chuckling? Oh and you should be excited about it," he told him 'cause it looked like he was excited, he was excited himself about it. Seeing as he hadn't played since he was in a different country. Hmm, a ball. Pierre could 'cause Lucas was getting the nets. Seemed fair enough, Lucas just had a soccer ball. Yep a actual soccer ball from America. He brought a lot of stuff back from there. Like souvenirs in a way. "Yeah you could, seems fair enough," he said with a brief nod of his head. Also he could use magic for most of it. Yes, he was going to use magic for the game. There was only two people playing so he needed to. He yet again nodded. Now, they needed to talk about something else, or stay on the same subject. "Also I was thinking since that we are the only people playing we can apparate during the game around the pitch." Yeah that could work but it sounded A LOT better in his head. Way more better.

Alex was once again, running. *Why am I always late?!* she though. Luckily, she decieded to wear flats today. It was easier to run. She saw some other people she didn't recognize. *I don't think they work on this floor* she thought. As she ran by, she waved hi, and she didn't have time to stop and chat.

Pierre chuckled a little. "Yeah. And of course I'm excited! I haven't played in forever." He missed playing football a lot. His dad never wanted to anymore. He was always too busy working. "Sounds good." He had just gotten a new one recently and still hadn't gotten a chance to play with it yet. He had bought it in hopes of playing with his father, but that hadn't worked out so well. Ah well. Playing with Lucas would be more fun. Ooo. Apparating would be a really easy way to make it seem more like a real game. "That's a great idea. It would make things more interesting."

Lucas had to laugh at Pierre's enthusiasm. It was brilliant. "Well I'm excited too, I just don't show as much as you mate. Me neither but I do have a feeling this will be a very good match," he nodded. He also missed playing football and having a game with Pierre would be brilliant except he had no idea how good the lad was at playing it. He didn't mind if he lost or won really he would just enjoy the game. He nodded again at his little comment well it wasn't really a comment but anywhoo. He nodded yet again at him. "Yeah it's surprising that it came out of my brain! And yes it will seeing as there is only two of us and we do need goalkeepers we can play them as well as trying to score just need to apparate a lot and it will help us with our job a little seeing as we work in the Transportation Department," hehe, full of ideas he was!

Pierre nodded his head. "Still, you should look at least some what excited. I think it will be an excellent match." Pierre was going to practice as often as he could. And perfect his aim because, well, he needed a lot of work on that. Plus, he wanted to win. He hated losing. It just wasn't fun. Winning was much better. Anyways, back to reality. Pierre chuckled at Lucas comment. "Well, everyone has to say something brilliant every once in a while." That sounded kind of mean. Oh well. "That would definately make it more difficult and a lot more fun. And it would be a great way to help us with our job." He may work in the Floo Network Division, but apparation was still transportation.
