Violet pressed her lips together to stop talking as Chad started the seminar. The chit-chat would have to wait. For the next few hours at least. Violet watched the faces of the employees before her. She noticed that few of them had actually shown up. Maybe some would come later. But the announcement had been up for awhile...maybe people were just getting lazy and forgetting to check? |

Rin was such a sweetheart. "Awww... Thanks Rin. This is exactly what I needed," Sarah said, smiling quite appreciatively. She felt her hands warm up and her already her body felt like it was tingling with warmth. She held the coffee up to her lips and took a sip. Ahhh... waaarmth. Honestly, what would she do without coffee? Ooh... meeting was starting! |
Mathius walked in slowly and took a seat. He still didn't really know anybody, but it was a Level Wide meeting. So he sat and looked around at people, watching them and listening to their conversations. |

"Any other questions?" |

Glancing over, it looked as if the coffee Rin had given her had done some good but...He looked down at his jacket in his hand before looking back at the woman. Not wanting to interrupt the meeting, he leaned over and gently nudged her arm, offering her the coat with a small smile. |

But enough about Brian. The meeting was what was important at the moment and Sarah was eager to get it started and going. Chad answered questions that were asked and then she felt something bump her arm. Meeehhhh? She looked over at who had bumped her and it was a man. She didn't really remember him but he looked slightly familiar. There were a loooottt of employees, she simply couldn't remember each and every one of them. With time of course. And what was that in his hand? A coat! Wow... so much attention. If Sarah had known, she would've been cold more often. Butttt... it'd be rude to accept... even though she really did want to take it. Smiling, she shook her head. 'Aren't you chilly?' she mouthed to the man. |
Darius leaned back in his chair, his hands on his stomach. He just listened to everyone else, having no idea what to do or say since he was very much new and had no idea if left was right or up was down. Watching as the cat came closer to him he gave the kitten a pat, knowing that Ari would have fallen in love instantly with him. Not that he hadn't of course; the cat was truly adorable. Having no questions Darius just coughed gently and looked to the department head waiting for everything to start. He hated meetings, especially when he had a newborn at home to care for. Tick. Tock. |
Adam sat quietly among the group of emplyees from the level four offices and listened patiently as the meeting prgressed from idle chatter to the more pressing details concerning why they were actually there and By the sound of it they were going to be in the feild which was fine. better than paperwork work any day. |
Nikos listen to Stryker as he sipped his coffee, his eyes occasionally flickering over to the kitten playing on the table. So far he had no questions, but he was sure one was bound to come up when they actually began to seminar. |
Lol. He tries XD Quote:

No questions? Excellent! Chad patted on the table a few times and Mico instantly came trotting over. Chad instantly collected him into his arms and started to scratch his little head. So fuzzy. "You see, in our department we need to know more than just how to fill out paperwork and sit pretty at our desks. Much like how it was proven with the pretend kidnapping of the Minister," he gave a pause to clear his throat; he STILL hadn't seen her since that day, "and the Senior Undersecretary, knowing what to do in the case of an event is necessary." "But, it is not always going to be about taking down dangerous dragons or battling off hoards of vicious creatures. It can be a situation involving nice creatures, but still a complicated problem. Like, mass infestation of...nifflers. Or, err, cats?" It would do. "Even handling is important. Like, take Mico, for example." Chad put the kitten on the table again and let him roam. "If you saw him wandering around the...Ministry and did not know that it belonged to your boss," he grinned, "how would you handle it?" |
Davina blinked, stared and her boss and blinked again. Cat's weren't one to get lost and if they did they were pretty good st finding their way back but just how would she handle seeing a stray kitty in the hall way? She raised her hand once more and felt her ears warm. My my wasn't she just talkative today. "Well, one way would be to get the kitty and keep it in my position then post a notice on the notice board about having a stray kitty in my position." What else could she do? She shrugged. If she was wrong she was wrong. The meeting was about gaining knowledge after all. |
OMG if she saw Mico roaming around the Ministry, Lilah would just explode because of it's cuteness! Like right now. Or at least, she was trying not to...she wanted to finish this meeting thing. "Pick him up and post a notice on the board? Oh wait...you said that." she said, looking at the person who spoke before her. But then.. she could FEED him and give him WATER and LOVE him until his owner came to pick him up. Teehee! The kitten was sooooo adorable!!! |
He wouldn't. He wouldn't dare go near the thing. He would sooner hex it and float it to its recipient. Saying that in front of a cat owner probably wasn't the best thing, however. Still... that feline was loose and free to do whatever it wanted at the moment. "I deal in werewolves... is this really necessary?" he asked, eying the cat, trying to keep his composure. The last thing he needed anyone to know was that he was afraid of felines. "Personally, no offense, I would likely stun it and see if there was someone who could take it until the owner could be found." |
Quote:
Whaaaat?! O_O "You would stun a cute little kitten like Mico?" she whispered, staring at the man in confusion and disbelief who just spoke. Hmmm, well, no wonder he worked with werewolves. Wait, why was SHE working with werewolves too though? Lilah and this man had nothing in common! But, at least the job was better than working with ghosts. Most definitely. |
Chad chuckled and made a mental note to keep his cat far, far, FARRR away from Drago as possible at all times. Like, now. Patting the table to call Mico down to his end, Chad nodded at the answers. "While stunning may seem like a proper thing to do for one person, someone else may have another way. Like the notices. Good answer! But, what would you do for the cat in the time it takes for the owner to come and retrieve?" |
"Take care of it, wouldn't you?" she said, utterly confused now. Of COURSE one should take care of it! It was a kitten! It needed nourishment and love to grow all healthy, big, and strong! And for his fur to be all nice and shiny and smooth. Hehe. "You know, like, give it some water, feed it..." Wait. "You should definitely pick up a variety of food for the kitten since, just in case it doesn't like the first few you picked out." Lilah wasn't about to starve the kitten. Of course she had plenty of cat food around the house and if she were to admit it, in her little work space too. "I personally have a ton of toys around my little cubicle space here for all the other cats that run around who want to play, so the kitten definitely won't be bored." Even though, cats who were bored were still exceptionally cute!! "And you know, keep one of those little fence things at the entrance of your work space so the little adorable kitten can't get out. Just, waiting for the owner to come..." |
Adam had been slouched comfortably in his seat as the meeting started it was habit at the steady 6 foot 5 inch he was he usually tried to not block anyones veiw but as everyone started to toss around ideas he sat a little straighter. " Well cute or not if it is an unfamilar animal you can't be sure of the things temperment so even cuddly little Mico there could be a problem. So you should always be cautious that even cute little fluff balls can be mean." Adam answered then took a sip from his coffee cup. |

Violet smiled and leaned back in her chair, letting everyone think about what would happen if they found a random cat one day. She was surprised at the variety of answers, and also at how people seemed to be taking the meeting. It was very entertaining. She sat back and listened intently, waiting for when it might be her turn to speak. |
lol at drago in real life I'm terrified of house cats Davina nodded. Of course you would feed the thing and maybe give it a box in your office and place a confinement charm there so the little thing couldn't escape. The only thing that would be left to do is wait until the owner came. "Well I suppose feeding and confinement would wrap up the situation? Surely a level wide notice would have someone coming in to get the creature in seconds." She thought for a minute. She should know this answer but right now it was slipping her. "Is there a way to possible tell if the creature is err magic per say..I mean, how do you distinguish a regular kitty from an animagus or a regular old muggle feline?" This was a seminar to gain knowledge right? Hopefully she wouldn't look dumb. |

Chad nodded. "Davina does bring up a good point. There is a spell that will force an animagus to transform into a human called the Homorphus Charm. Just a simple flick of the wand and the charm and your question as to if the animal is a person will be answered." Chad quickly collected Mico into his arms. "I can assure you that my cat is in fact an actual cat." He grinned. |
Nikos was sitting back listening to the conversation at hand, taking note of everyone's responses. His eyes flickered to Mister stuns-cute-creatures and took note to NEVER have Marigold flying around outside the office ever again. He was familiar with the Homorphus Charm, though it wasn't one he used on creatures often. To trusting he was at times. "Good to know, Stryker." He grinned, taking the last sip of his coffee. |
