Eeek! Poppy reached out for her wand and snatched it out of his hand. "Thank you, Mister handsome sir whatever your name is..." She pinched his cheek then turned to the offenders. "Oh, woe is me! Just the sight of them, I have been traumatized!" She quickly turned away and took a few seconds to catch her breath, then continued. "Amateurs! Good thing they are, or I could be dead!" She said and angrily flicked her wand at the offenders. "Now, tell me, Mister, why would two people be inside a JANITOR'S CLOSET during the daytime! And why would they need to silence me and attack me! Clearly they didn't want me to tell you that they attacked me." She wasn't sure she had made it clear that they attacked her.

Panicked with the old lady had her wand towards the Lennox, Dean raised his wand slightly. "Woa- Woa- Woa- Woa! Calm down, ma'am. Don't worry, I'll question them. Please lower your wand." It wasn't long since the skirmish at the fountain. Don't tell him that it's going to end up the same here! They attacked her? Wasn't she the one who came storming down to level two and kicked the closet door hard enough to break it?

Lights sighed, and decided to tell the truth, or at least most of it. "I'm pregnant," she said wearily. "I wanted to tell Ethan in private, somewhere where we wouldn't be overheard. I kind of wanted to keep it quiet until it was really necessary to tell my boss." She bet Gabriel would pull her out of anything remotely exciting if he knew she had a baby to keep safe. "We are innocent of any crime. This lady," she motioned to the crazy oldie, "just started yelling, no attacking involved at all."
When the old lady flicked her wand at her, Lights flinched. "Please don't do that," she said calmly. "If you hurt my child I won't be happy." And you don't want to see Lights in her Mamma Bear role. It's not pretty.

Emily just stared. Not just as the lovey dovey pair, but also at the batty old lady and then some at Dean and Wes.
"... And you didn't think to have this personal conversation outside of the workplace and in your own time?" Yes, because clearly that was the thing that irked Emily the most.

Pursing her lips in amusement, she eyed the batty lady. Drama Queen.

Listening to Lights' announcement of her pregnancy made Dean leapt at once from Emily's side as he shook the security lady's hand vigorously. "Congratulations!" He spoke out so loudly that the whole floor can hear them. Dean looked like he would skip around them throwing confettis.

As the Drama Queen went on with her hysterical cry which started to annoy him, Dean knew this is his chance. With Emily inquiring Lights, he pulled the YATI's sleeve before he leaned closer to her ear. "They were researching about them," he whispered so faintly so not even the sharp-ear Ms. Magical Maintenance could hear.

Emily leant in as Dean whispered something in her ear.

Researching them? Researching... babies?
Emily felt as though she was about to be sick when she suddenly understood the hidden meaning behind Dean's words. And she DID NOT like it any better than the first thought.

She shot him a look that clearly said Make sure I don't kill them.

Discussing them.. with a non MLE member, in a closet where others could overhear. IT WAS INSANE!!! LEAVE IT TO THE PROFESSIONALS!

Once a creeperdoodle eyes, always a creeperdoodle eyes. Emily's glare wasn't so scary when you got used to it. He nodded telling her that he understood what she meant though without a smiley face. When he passed by the closet just about a minute or two before Ms Maintenance, he didn't hear anything. So, he bet that they've put up the Muffliato charm.

Oh, now Wes had left them to deal with this bawling lady. "Should we send her down?" he asked Emily with a low voice. He'd really love to. He had a lot more to deal than babysitting a dramatic granny.

Ethan cleared his throat lightly and held out his wand on top of his outstretched palm. "Here, check it. The last thing I cast was silencio on Miss Broken-Record over here, and I don't know what before that. We never attacked her. She actually threw her wand into the closet. Now." Ethan settled himself. "Does anybody still need some sort of explaination?"

Well well. Wesley was now going by the alias of Mr. Handsome Sir Whatever Your Name Is. All right.

"You can call me Wes," he added as an aside to Miss Poppy. "Wes Ferguson, Head of the MLES." No big deal, you know. Wink. Anyway. He cleared his throat and turned his attention back to the parents-to-be.

A janitor's closet certainly was the place for a private conversation, yep. "Congratulations to you two," he added politely, "but I think silencing your boss was rather unnecessary, yes?" He did take the man's wand and check it, so he knew he was telling the truth...

But anyway, this whole hullabaloo or nothing was about over in Wesley's book. "I think you two," he pointed at Lights and her husband with his wand, "should probably go back to work and try to stay focused instead of having secret meetings all over the place now. Miss Poppy," he turned to her now, and smiled gently, "would you like a refreshing cup of tea, perhaps, along with a biscuit maybe? That must have been SUCH a stressful experience....." he started ushering her out the door and toward the MLE offices.

Poppy was furious! This wasn't going to be the last of them! HA, they weren't working so technically she could still report them to Lord Borr. He entrusted the Magical Maintenance employees with the task of reporting people who were slacking off, and clearly these two were, so she would still have her GLORY and her opportunity to fawn over Lord Borr.

Although, she did get a date out of this, so it wasn't too bad. She tried very hard not to giggle, but it was nearly impossible, so she hid her face behind her handkerchief and pretended to shed a few more tears. "Oh, that would be lovely, b-but I don't think I can carry myself." Cue hand on the forehead. "My knees are so weak after this unfortunate event..." She said supporting herself on the man's shoulder. What's that? You'll carry me? Ah, you're such a dear! Why can't more men be like you.[b]" She threw a nasty look at the other men in the room, then began to try to climb onto the handsome man's arms. Now, that was nearly impossible, but if the man turned out to be weak he could always give her a piggy back ride.

Lights smiled at Dean when he congratulated her. Hmm, Dean was a nice name for a boy ... she added it to her mental list of baby names, right up there with Naomi, Seren, Sacha and Benjamin.

Lights was about to follow Wes Ferguson's instructions and leave the scene when the crazy lady assumed Wes wanted to carry her. Lights bit back a laugh, her hand covering her uncontrollable smile. She wished she had a camera, this was hilarious ...

Wes was Mr Handsome Sir Whatever Your Name Is. What about him? He did help her out too! But he was relieved when Wes ushered Ms Maintenance out of the corridor... Into their office. Oh, Merlin! How was he going to concentrate on his work if she started a drama again?

But something else made him burst into an uncontrolable laughter, but yet, he felt so disgusted. It was when Ms Maintenance suddenly climbed up onto Wes' arms. How's Wes going to explain to Izzy if she saw this? The laughter caused Dean to almost lose his balance that he needed to support his arm on Emily's shoulder. This was better than soap opera in some ways.

The scene in the janitors closet was a confusing one. With the accusations, and the batty lady.. incredibly batty lady, Emily couldn't help but smirk, fighting back the desire to laugh out loud. Clearly Dean was having the same issue. Good thing she had been there to keep him from falling flat on his face.
"Right well I'm out of here then," she said giving Dean a pat on the back. There was no way she was going to subject herself to the battyness that was the volture-dolly lady. Poor Wes...

Poor poor Wes.

"I'll catch you lot back in the office," she mused. Oh yes... she wanted to know how tea and biscuits with batty lady went once Wes was done.

With a polite nod at the group she backed out of the closet and headed back to work... there were things to be done. Yep yep.

Lights was hiding out in the closet again, wand in one hand, the other holding the door open a crack so she could see out. She was lying in wait for a certain someone she had to speak to. She knew she could have just asked for a meeting at the cafe down the road or something, but really, she couldn't be sure he'd turn up. She couldn't be sure she trusted him with that much.

A good day turned bad as works kept piling up. Dean's desk already had stacks of files and papers and now, he just picked up more from the other side of the office. With a small parchment in one hand, he made it where and when was the supposed appointment should take place. Dean pushed the door wide open with a slow nudge of his foot. He didn't look like he was going to sit down in the closet again. He needed as much air as possible and the closet can never provide what he needed.

"You called?" questioned the younger between the two as he leaned sideways on the door frame. The file clutched between his hand and chiseled chest.

Lights looked up at Dean, her green eyes colder than they'd ever been. She hated how she was shorter than him (no surprise, at 160cm she was shorter than almost everyone, she was dreading the day when her kids overtook her), but she certainly made up for it by looking as fierce as possible. "Mm-hm." She tapped the file clutched in his hands, like he was afraid she'd rip it away or something. "I assume that's it? Don't pretend it isn't, I'm not that innocent anymore." Her eyes softened slightly. "Have you given it in yet?" she asked quietly. "Who did you tell?" Maybe it wasn't as bad as she thought it was ... Lights crossed her fingers behind her back.

Dean wasn't taunted a bit by her stare, but he was curious of the reason. His blue eyes followed the shorter person as she approached him and tapped the file. "This?" asked the man as he held out the file. The label which had Cult members in captivation was facing the woman.

Given it in? Given in wha- Oh, now he understood. "Head Auror," he said briefly before walking away. Of course Isobel knew. She saw him trying to get a grip of himself when he lost control of himself regarding the matter. There was no point on discussing this matter anymore as it won't change anything.

"Colloshoo." No, Lights wasn't above casting a Feet-Sticking Hex on Dean. She was having a hard time staying above cursing him out of the country at this point. "Do you normally do this?" she asked icily. "When people put their trust in you, do you normally pay them out? Because I certainly trusted you, and look where that landed me. Look where it landed my children." Her voice broke slightly. "They're only four, Dean, they're not old enough to fully understand what the consequences are. But they know what's going on, and they're scared. They won't tell me but I know. They're scared that they're going to come home one day to find their parents gone. Where do you think they'll go if that happens?!" Lights stared at her colleague through slitted eyes.

Step by step seperated the two friends, but stopped as he felt like his shoes were stuck to the ground. Dean smirked, lowering his head as he let Lights went on about trust. One clear thing was Dean wasn't a loyal Hufflepuff. "I don't want to repeat the same mistake again," said he coldly as he turned his head sideways, glancing at the blonde. His blue eyes were cold as they met the green. His maple wand was already in hand, concealed by the long sleeve.

True the children were the victims. But there was always alternatives for them. Performing a wandless and non-verbal Finite on his feet, Dean continued to walk. He didn't want to duel a friend. If she insisted to attack however, she should consider her current position considering the current situation she was in. Things could get worse.

Lights' anger spilled over. "You know who you remind me of?!" she screamed. "Victor! I don't know why you two don't get on better! You both can't be trusted!" Now she saw why they'd been friends at Hogwarts ... God she'd been stupid. Stupid, innocent, immature Lights. Maybe everyone was right about her.
Suddenly she was in animagus form, snarling at him, spitting out everything she'd been holding in. She knew he couldn't understand her, but her meaning should have been perfectly clear to anyone with half a brain cell. Then she leapt at him, snapping at something on his person before continuing down the hall. She knew she needed to cool off her anger somewhere, preferably outside.

His expression remained cold, but he did feel a sudden strike of anger when Lights compared him to Victor in term of similarities. No, Dean was nothing like Victor. True that they might be similar in many aspects, but one thing differs them both; Victor was a criminal. Nothing that Dean had ever wanted to be. In this case especially, he knew that he did the right thing. He knew that somehow he'll be called a traitor again. He was ready for that. "I'm nothing like him!" snarled Dean, almost mumbling.

When Lights took her animagus form, the man smiled, but not because he was happy. If Isobel saw this, it wasn't going to be good on the new hit witch. The angry labrador didn't scare him a bit. He knew who it was and knew nothing will happen. Dean avoided at once as the labrador leapt at him. He had a pretty impressive result in Arithmancy, you know? Watching Lights leaping running away, he made a turn back into the office.
