Charles Hollingberry EraAll historical records pertaining to Ministry of Magic RPG under Minister for Magic, Charles Hollingberry [IC March 2097 - present; OOC November 2018 - present]
Offices of Gobstones, Quidditch, and Recreational Sports
In a very large area, you will find many cubicles filled with busy workers from both the Quidditch and Gobstone Divisions. These two divisions work in the same workspace but on opposite sides of the room. On one side you will find everything quidditch from public relations to regulations and administration workers doing their jobs no matter what season it is. On the other side, you will find everything Gobstones related, their administration is always hard at work. If you keep moving back in the extra long office room you will find another set of cubicles, these are filled with the recreational sports division. If you are needing anything from horse racing, youth leagues, wizard's chess, recreational leagues, or summer camps or youth muggle sports this is your place.
Quidditch Division Manager is Lucas Hawthorne
Gobstone Division Manager is Milo Jordan
Recreational Division Manager is Nick Blower
OOC: All Sports rosters and scores can be found here and here.
Information about recreational leagues and youth camps can be found here.

What was happening? What were these hounds doing here??
Laila was scared of dogs. Her mind stopped working altogether. Oh boy.
She thought hard. She tried to cast a sleeping charm on the hounds.
A handful of the more curious and rambunctious bloodhounds trekked down the levels and into the Games and Sports work area on level 7, working up a hunger on the way. Stopping shortly, the hounds sniffed the air for danger, before they, with their tongues hanging out, sprinted over like only hounds can do to the new sports equipment that had just a few hours earlier been delivered.
"Woof! Woof! Woof!"
They barked amongst themselves, as they went all hound on the equipment chewing on brooms and balls, drooling on match jerseys and just trying to eat anything that looked edible in sight. Soon enough though the hounds are lying in a big mess, yippering like they are hurt.

Caught by a sudden sneezing attack that was followed up by the sound of dogs barking nearby, Peggy cast a quick bubblehead charm on herself and followed the noise out of her office, to the main work areas for the Games & Sports employees.
She frowned as she saw the dogs lying all over the floor, and...oh, no, they had gotten into the Quidditch equipment? She groaned and attempted to place her hand on her head...but was hampered by the bubblehead charm. Luckily Laila Parker was here already, from the Quidditch division even.
"Laila, what...what happened?" she asked the younger woman, trying to piece things together. Surely someone would have told her if it was bring your pet to work day, so she could, well, not come. "Where did these dogs come from?" They looked...not quite well...not that she would really know, having always avoided furry animals.

Kit was searching through the ministry for the missing doggos, bringing along one of the pups he dubbed Mrs. Scuttlebuns. Mrs. Scuttlebuns was currently sitting in a cradle slung around his shoulder that he made out of a jumper he brought to the office this morning. Down on Level 7 he heard the telltale barking, and he made his way to where he heard the noise from—The Quidditch and Gobstones Offices.
After taking a moment to absorb the situation, Kit got to work. The dogs had obviously eaten some things that... they really shouldn't have. And it was not sitting well. They would have to get all the junk out of the doggie's systems, and that, er... it wouldn't be pretty, to say the least. And the Games & Sports work area was definitely not the place for that operation to occur.
Kitty thought that the woman casting the sleeping charms had the right idea. Putting them to sleep would ease the discomfort for now until they could be taken elsewhere to be looked after. He knelt next to the dogs and started wordlessly casting sleeping charms on them. He also immediately recognized Mrs. Laplace as the department head. He tried his best to be very professional with her. "Hi, Mrs. Laplace. I'm Kittredge from the Creatures Department. We don't know exactly what happened, but... it seems as though someone sabotaged some of the locks in the Holding Room and the dogs escaped. I'm sorry about, uh... he looked around at the mess the dogs had made "...this."
Peggy raised the eyebrow at the appearance of the well dressed young man with a bloodhound puppy. Well, at least they knew where the dogs had come from, even if it was unclear why anyone would sabotage locks to let the dogs out. Or who would do such a thing.
She smiled thinly at the man through her bubble-head charm. "Thank you for coming down," she said sincerely. "What can we do to help get them...home?" And out of the Games and Sports Department as quickly as possible, so it could be thoroughly cleaned of all the fur and slobber?

Kitty chuckled awkwardly. "Uh, well.... it would be a great favor if you guys would help me get the dogs back to Level 4. It's..." he looked down at the group sleeping hounds, "...probably a lot for one person to do by themself."
But... how could they get all of the dogs back at once? If they made several trips they would risk one of the dogs waking up and wandering off again... Kit hummed with thought as he looked around for an idea, and then he landed back on Mrs. Laplace. "I'm thinking... maybe a big bubble? And we float them back?"
Right. She supposed they could help. In the thirty years since she'd learned the bubble-head charm, she'd become quite a pro at using it to prevent an allergy attack, so...she could definitely keep it in place and relocate these animals. Maybe even stop in and see Aurora, if things weren't too busy. Oh. Wait, no, it seemed things likely were busy on Level Four. Canine escapees, after all.
"Yes, we can help," she said, looking around. Laila could help, and maybe some of the other employees would hear the commotion and offer to help. Especially if they knew just how allergic she was to these...hounds, were they? "Are you thinking Ebublio?" If so, she thought it just might work. They might have to take the stairs, though, to minimize trips. The lifts would get crowded very quickly with dogs in bubbles.
Kit nodded. "Yes, that should work nicely, thank you." They would, sadly, be walking up several flights of stairs with a bunch of dogs in bubbles, but they just had to get it over with. He hoped that enough workers would help so that the dogs could be taken back in one big trip. He got to work casting some Ebublios on a couple of the dogs. This way anything that the dogs may, er... expel if they were to wake up would be contained. Sorry, puppos, but that's just the way it is. He gave Mrs. Scuttlebuns a little pat on her sling. She was being surprisingly well behaved. Maybe he should ask Mr. Morgenstern about taking her home...
Peggy nodded, aiming her wand at some of the other dogs. "Ebublio," she said. She didn't know this young man, but she'd definitely be letting Aurora know how helpful he'd been at eliminating the fur creatures from her level.
Oh.
The door.
She flicked her wand at the door to the stairs, so it would remain open for them to usher the bubble dogs through. "Well, best get going," she said with faux cheer, still hoping some of her employees would either help with the dogs, or help with some very thorough cleaning of the level to eliminate any trace of any fur or slobber or...whatever the dogs may have dragged in with them. Animals were horrible.
