The Hit Wizard Station |
Aaron walked into the hit wizard station to find he was the only one there, he wasn't sure what to do so he sat down at what he hoped was an empty desk and waited. |
Anabell entered the station confidently and, noticing the only person in the room, strode towards him. "Anabell Iris-Reign." Anabell gestured her hand, inviting the man to shake it. "I am very pleased to meet you." |
Aaron stood up at the sound of footsteps to find a women walking towards him "Aaron Rogers" Aaron said while shaking Anabell's hand "it's nice to meet you as well" |
Forrester entered the Hit Wizards office... It wasn't empty except for a couple person... He never studied the case of the Hit Wizards and reminded himself to do that later. "Okey Sorry people to interrupt, Im Forrester Hufflepuff, Head Division of the Aurors department... I'm recruiting Hit Wizards to participate in an inspection of a warehouse... Does anyone want to get involved?" Forrester asked knowing that he would get more than one person to approval. |
Aaron looked up at the new arrival nervously, a job all ready he thought to himself wow! "Sir I'll be happy to come along." |
Nicoli Vanhatck strode into the Hit Wizard Department, azure eyes and midnight blue robes gleaming, he was looking for Forrester but, of course he hadn't visited his Hit Wizards yet. "Hello every-Forrester!" Nicoli exclaimed rather loudly. "I was just looking for you," he said in a slightly more indoor voice. "About the warehouse, the squad has no idea what they're going to be doing on this, mind briefing them?" Nicoli asked his colleague, Of course if you'd come yourself... Nicoli remembered the others in the room, "Oh yes! Hello everyone! I'm Nicoli Vanhatck, Head of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad. Technically, I'm your head too," Nicoli shot a puzzled look at Forrester, "Did you want some of these guys on the mission?" His azure eyes dulled and his brow furrowed slightly. You could have told me. They're under me, not you. |
"Actually yes I want just one... And I need someone from your department as well" Forrester replied nodding slowly. "I am going to brief them as soon as we are done training I'm not going to send new trainees to the field before some training first... So choose one of the best of your employees and send them to my office as soon as possible..." Forrester continued as he turned to the Hit Wizard. "Okey come see me in my office in five minutes!"Forrester ordered the Hit Wizard that applied for the mission. He then prepaired himself to leave the Hit Wizard office. |
"Best employee?" Nicoli felt sick. First day and he already had to make a difficult choice. He'd only got two under his lead, and both were capable of taking this on...but which one? "I hope you plan to train these guys too," Nicoli said gesturing to Aaron. "They may need to be specially trained for this. it's not what they normally do." Well, the boy might be there, but Nathan and Amelia sure weren't. Nicoli turned and headed back towards the slightly more spacious office further away. |
Siobhan Smirnov walked over to an empty desk and sat down. She didn’t care if it was someone else’s. It was hers now. She ran her hand through her thick dark hair and sighed. She hated waiting around. She noted that’s what the few people who were there doing. She rolled her eyes and started drumming her fingers against the desk. She hoped they’d be doing something soon. She was originally from Russia and had only gone to Hogwarts for her final year and still had a thick Russian accent. She kept to herself then and she planned to do so now. She wasn’t here to make friends, after all. She was here to do her job. |
Nicoli re-entered the Hit Wizard office and gave a smile to the few in the office. "Sorry I haven't been here much," he said to them and his blue eyes twinkled slightly. "I'm Nicoli Vanhatck, your head, even though I'm officially the Head of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad." Nicoli took a seat at one of the desks. "Both we go into anything, mind telling me a bit 'bout yourselves?" he asked innocently, though he wished he'd been able to do this more like he had done with the others. |
Siobhan had been lost in mindless thought until a strong male voice brought her out of it. She looked up and saw a man about her age addressing them.He was smiling at them all. She didn't get why. She currently didn't feel like there was anything in particular to smile about. Maybe he knew something she didn't, like when they would be doing something other than sitting on their butts all day. So young and already a department head. Well, he better watch his position, she thought to herself. She sighed when he asked them to tell him about themselves. Always the formalities. What difference does it make what they did in the past, or what their favorite food was. She, at least, was only focused on the now and doing her job. “Siobhan Smirnov. I don’t know what exactly you want to know, but there is nothing I feel the need to tell you other than that I’m here to do my job and you can always expect at least 150% from me, so long as you give me the respect that comes with such commitment”, she said simply. This was truth. Hopefully this Nicoli guy would be able to handle that. |
Aaron re- entered The Hit Wizard station after he had completed his training for the warehouse mission to see Nicoli had returned and was taking to a women with what sounded like a Russian accent, apparently Nicoli wanted to know more about us, Aaron waited for the women who didn't seem friendly at all to finish before having his turn. "Well sir in my spare time i like to make potions and read any and all books on defence magic, I'm also trying to learn the muggle sport of cricket." |

Now how was he to remember the Russian woman's name? Siobhan...Siobhan...Siobhan. He might just have to call her by her surname. No. He couldn't. "Where are you from Aaron?" he asked casually, wondering how Siobhan would respond to the continued talk. |

Siobhan looked at the man with a raised brow. “Yes, well, so long as respect is given to me, I’ll give it in return. Right now I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt since you’re in a position of authority. I just hope my assumption that you have to earn such a position is correct.” She had a feeling that they might clash quite a bit. She doubted it was anything she wouldn’t be able to handle, however. Siobhan listened as the other man expressed his interests. Muggle sports? That’s what they were going to be talking about. She frowned and allowed a tsking noise to escape her lips. Did they really enjoy speaking of such things or did they just put that much belief into meaningless niceties? She watched as they continued talking until she could no longer stand it. “are we actually going to be doing some work anytime soon, because if not, I’ll just go home and you can owl me when I’m actually needed.” |

Aaron smiled he had never tried to explain cricket to anyone before, when his cousin was trying to explain it to him, he got totally confused until he was shown a game on TV but he thought he should give it a go anyway. "well sir their are two teams of 11, i guess it's like american baseball, a batting and fielding team, the team batting first has to make as much runs as possible, then after their 50 overs are up or they are bowled out [1 over = 6 balls] the teams swap and the Fielding side has to bat, if they get as many runs as the 1st side they win but if they don't, they lose. There is also a longer version of the game called test matches." Aaron took a deep breath and hoped Nicoli had taken all that in. Aaron scratched at his chin before telling Nicoli that he lives in London. |
Erin knocked softly at the door, she was looking for Nicoli to talk to him about an assignment. |

"Um no, I haven't recieved anything about that." Erin smiled. "Actually I was wondering if I could borrow one of your people. I have some Regurgutating Toilets, a self-crashing, self-mending chandelier, An axe gone haywire that killed a muggle, some shrinking tables and chairs and some fore-spitting radios to deal with in Cardiff." Erin explained. |

She was quite shocked by his statement. That, she had definitely not expected. She smirked a little, the closest thing to a smile anyone here was going to get out of her. “Actually, they’re black lace.” Maybe he wouldn’t be so bad after all. At least the man had a bit of fire in him. She hated working with dispassionate people more than anything else. “Tell me, is there anywhere around here with coffee that doesn’t taste like complete crap?” The English just couldn’t seem to make strong coffee. Another thing that cost them major points in her book. Siobhan watched as some woman from another department came in looking for Nicoli. She sighed. Why couldn’t she wait for him to go over there? She gave the woman a dirty look. It was bad enough they weren’t doing anything, but now Nicoli was getting interrupted by different departments. If that kept happening, they would never get any assignments |
Erin glanced over at the girl shooting her daggers with her eyes, oooh she was glaring at the wrong woman. "If you've got something to say to me, say it." Erin told the girl in nu uncertain terms |

Nicoli grinned sheepishly, that was a bad call. He blinked, would that be too much..."I've only got the one to spare," he said looking back at the two seated behind him. "Forrester's already snagged the other," Nicoli grinned inwardly. Those two didn't hide their relationship too well. "You're going to handle the paperwork, I hope?" Noticing Erin's distraction, Nicoli followed her gaze. Swearing silently, Nicoli forced his face into a smile. "And there's you're lucky Hit Wizard!" he tried no to cringe at his own floppy joke. "She'll be helping you-" Nicoli continued, and then in an undertone, "Just bare with her, it'll be fine." "Siobhan, you're first assignment!" Nicoli gestured vaguely at Erin in the doorway. |
Erin smiled up at Nocoli, and at his little insinuation about her and Forrester. "You got it, I was going to do the paperwork anyway." Erin looked up at Nicoli like he'd lost his mind giving, but giving him a grin she said "Ok Nic, thanks." She folded her arms and waited for him to introduce them, getting the feeling that this one wouldn't like her first assignment too much. |

She looked back over to the woman when she heard her address her. “I’ve nothing to say to you”, she snapped rudely. Then she heard Nicoli say they were going to be working together. A deep frown overtook her face. “I do not need her. I can do whatever it is by myself”, she said firmly. She stared at Nicoli as if challenging him to say something different. |
"Sorry chicka, my department, my rules if you don't like that then the job can surely be assigned to someone else." Erin crossed her arms and waited for this insubordinate little girl to say something else. |
