Madison found the little cubical that Lorraine spoke of and smiled. "Here we are," she said to Tonya Anne, whom Madi was to go over notes with her before the next meeting took place. Luckily she had her notes with her as she was going to write out a few extras as well.

Tonya Anne smiled as she approached the desk. "You may call me Tonya or Tonya Anne whichever you prefer." she said to her, "Ms. Springs is to formal for me." she added witha laugh. "What should I call you?" she asked politely.

Madison chuckled lightly at Tonya. "Oh! Then Tonya it is," she said with the hint of laughter still in her voice. "Actually I answer by just about anything but you are more than welcome to call me Madison, Madi...I have no problems at all with either, so as long as they are nice words." She couldn't help but snicker once again as she took a seat and brought out her notes from the meeting.

"We don't have much time, so I will hit the highlights of what has happened so far," she began as her eyes glanced over the notes. "So far we have come up with the pros and cons of either allowing or keeping them illegal within Britain. Ms. Bass, who is the Department Head of International Cooperations, described to us that the only reason for banning the magical carpets before was the simple fact that they were a muggle artifact and were illegal to enchant, which in turn made them appear on the Registry of Proscribed Charmable Objects.

"Some of the Cons discussed where that some were afraid that the carpets would get into the wrong hands of muggles, some where speaking of age limitations or the simple fact that an evil source could charm the carpets into doing things that were...well, not so good of course." She carefully glanced once more at the writing scribbled on the parchment. "There were also those who were afraid that some may get hurt by falling off causing injuries. That would be a dreadful thing indeed."

She then turned the page hoping that she was not boring her new guest in any way at the moment. "Some of the pros discussed were the simple fact of making it easier to carry more than one person, using the carpets to get from point A to point B for those who do not prefer to use floo or portkeys." She paused once more as she glanced at the page again. "Simple thing is that there were more cons discussed than pros." She shrugged her shoulders make sure to not allow her own views to show up since there were some taking sides on the issue.

"Todays topic will be whether you are for or against the use of flying carpets. Obviously if it is approved then we will need to come up with laws for the carpets and if they are not approved, then I guess we don't have to worry with it. But the decisions will be discussed today and they are wanting to get everyone to one side." Needless to say, she was the only one for the carpets being approved while everyone else was against them.

Tonya Anne smiled, "Thank you Madison for the update." she said to Madison. "Hmm, I wonder why there are so many more cons than pros." she said thinking out loud.

Madison looked at Tonya for a moment as she tilted her head to the side. "Some I believe are people being a bit paranoid...but that is just my opinion," she began thinking a little more about it. "I mean, some of what they described, you could do the same on a broom. And...brooms are legal." She didn't want to lure Tonya in any way to either side, she wanted to remain neutral, but at that moment, she just had to say what was on her mind.

After what seemed to be a few weeks later (or according to Madison's watch it was), Madison sat at her desk. It was back to the way things used to be, not busy. She couldn't stand it. She had to have something to do to keep her mind off of...things. Worried, panic, moody..well, not so much of moodiness as it was the other two, she had to keep her mind occupied and quickly.

Lorraine seemed to be out of her office for the time being so there was no going in and having a chat about things that needed to take place or other offices that might need a little extra help. To her, everything seemed to be okay as she continued to work on the coffee bit for their office floor.

Coffee! That was it, she needed some. Maybe it would get the blood pumping faster and give her the adrenaline that she needed. Well, if what she suspected was true, that would be harmful, none the less. Something she could not do.

She tapped her fingers to the office desk as her nerves began to frustrate her. She knew she had to write another letter, but it was bothering her. Almost as if she couldn't say anything unless she was positive of the outcome. But she had to tell him, fill him in on the circumstances that were playing in her mind. Five days. That was all it took to create the monster that was inside of her at the moment. GAH! She didn't want to speak to anyone except for one person.

She pulled out her parchment and took hold of a quill and began to scribble a letter out. One that she had to write and one that could make things a little worse than what they were.

A small pink broomstick shaped memo zoomed off towards the assistant's desk, completing a few laps around the desk and circling Madison Myer's head a few times. Finally it came to a crash landing on her desk and unfolded itself to read:

Madison sat at her desk filing and straightening as much as she could until something buzzing around her head caught her attention. "Ahh! Work," she said with excitement as the note came to an opened landing in front of her. She read the note and before she stood up, she placed everything neatly in a drawer, grabbed a quill and parchment then headed towards Lorraine's office to find out what was needed.

Happy for the Hogsmeade's weekend to arrive, Constantine slipped into Madison's office with a bouquet of flowers. Noticing that she wasn't in the room, he set himself to placing the flowers in a vase and arranging them to look pleasing. Maybe he'd go out and look for her after this...

Madi walked out of Lorraine's office. She had a tissue in hand which was for her running nose. Those darn emotions were getting the best of her and she was not holding up very well. She rounded her little cubical to find a man standing and arranging pretty flowers on her desk.

She gasped in surprise as her eyes stayed on the beautiful colours that filled the vase and a smile curved on her lips. They had to be from him. They.Had....to...."Constantine?" Her eyes slowly moved from the hand on the vase up to the man's face. Her smile began to grow but then changed suddenly as she began to cry.

Constantine's head turned to the sound of a voice that he had missed, even if it had only been a couple months. He smiled at her as she smiled, but then frowned as she started to cry. "My baby," he said gently, reaching out to pull her into his arms.

He did not seem upset. He did not seem hurt. He did not seemed harmed in any way, but the hug was needed. Madison placed her hand that held the tissue to cover her mouth and nose as she leaned in to Neo's opened arms. He still called her baby; that was good. He still cared enough to give her flowers and bring them in person; that was even better.

"Wait a minute," she said as it seemed as though she could turned her crying off at the drop of hat. "You're okay? No broken bones? Is your back okay?" She brought her hands to his face as she began to make sure everything was in place. The worried look on her face was now in place.

Constantine blinked confusedly as she all of a sudden turned the water works off and put him under the third degree. "Yes, yes, everything is fine. Relax, Madison, I promise that I am okay." He ran a hand through her hair and then stroked her cheek while his light brown eyes stared into hers. "What about you? How are you feeling?"

That was one less thing she had to worry about. He was okay. Madison breathed a sigh of relief, but that just began yet another form of emotion.

"Soooo, if you are okay, then..." she began as her brown eyes looked to the side and she bit her lower lip to find the words that she wanted to say.

And it hit her.

"Why didn't you write back?" That was her first question as her facial expression now held slight anger. "I have been worried sick about you, Constantine Masterson." OH! And the whole name was not a good thing. "I can't believe that..."

she paused as she looked at the flowers on her desk and that settled her somewhat. "...you brought me flowers?" Now she wanted to cry again. Was this going to get any better? Were her emotions ever going to get under control?

Oi vey. She was redefining strange every moment they kept talking. "Okay, my love, let's sit down and just...relax for a second. You're not making any sense." He took a seat down in her chair and then gently pulled her to sit in his lap. He wanted to pause long enough to process and go through each emotion one at a time.

As soon as she sat in his lap, Madison's head laid on Neo's shoulder. She felt as though she was letting go of every emotion, releasing them all on him, and she was. Holding them in for every other person was becoming a trick that she was beginning to lose and that was not happening, not in her line of work.

So wait for the husband to unleash the multiple emotional roller coaster.

Finally she wrapped her arms around his neck and sighed. "I wrote you, hating to tell you that way," she began and sighed once again. "The next day I went back to the Healer and she gave me more good news so I past it to you and yet, I heard nothing.

"I was so worried, I was about to go out of my mind and then here you are, not a scratch, still in one piece...but you didn't write." She hoped he'd just been so busy, but still, even one word?

Gently, Constantine ran his fingers through her hair, twirling strands around his fingers as he listened to her speak. "It's been a little crazy at the school, my love," he started, now gently tucking hair in behind her ear. "The dungeons somehow flooded...and we had to try and make it go away, but to no avail. If you take that and the strange amount of odd students, it all adds to us being pretty busy

"Now, I'm sorry, that I didn't write back as soon as possible, but please believe me when I say that I am very happy for us." His eyes glinted dreamily as he thought about it again. "You and I are going to have a baby...we're going to have the family we wanted..."

Madi melted to the sincere words that Constantine spoke to her. He was right. They were going to have the family they wanted and with that, she knew he would not be disappointed by any means. She loved his romantic side and now at this moment, she was beyond thrilled that he was here with her and this was his way of showing how happy he was for the new addition that would come soon-ish.

She leaned her forehead against his, closing her eyes and breathing in his scent and her favorite cologne that he wore. It was amazing just how sensitive her smelling scents were at this very moment. And with that, she leaned back, covered her mouth and sneezed. Luckily, she still held her tissue.


"How can I ever be upset," she began as she dabbed her nose. "And I have to make a confession." She sniffed from her recent sneeze and looked towards him. "I was..." -sighs- "...afraid I was...disappointed that...I heard nothing from you." That was a strong word for her, something she never thought of before and immediately had to blame it on her way of thinking and the emotional state that she was in.

"I knew at one point you were ready to have a family but when you didn't answer, I just knew that something was wrong and that you weren't happy and..." she sighed once again, leaning her head back to his. "It's so hard to do this by myself sometimes." Okay! So she didn't want him to feel bad at all and now wished she had not said that.

"I know," he soothed, cupping her cheek with his palm. "I know that this is going to be difficult for you, especially when I'll be at school for a lot of this. It's going to pain me to be there while you're here." He kissed her cheek gently and then held her tightly. "But, whenever I get the free moment, I will be there for you and our...baby," he smiled brightly, placing a hand on her stomach.

When he placed his hand on her stomach, she began to cry once again. Now everything seemed so real. Forget the morning sickness, the sudden change of emotions and the tightness that began to show in her clothing, this moment with him and seeing the smile on his face was all she wanted.

"I love you," Madison smiled as the tears continued to roll down her cheeks. "It means so much for you to..." -sniffs- "...b-b-be h-here."

Constantine continued to caress her cheek, still smiling as she seemed unable to stop crying. "I love you too, my love...come here..." He gently led her head into the crook of his neck while running hands through the hair on the back of her head. "I'll always be here for you..."

Madison laid her head on his shoulder. She'd missed him terribly and now he was here, holding her which was just what she wanted. The way he caressed her hair soothed her to the point that the tears began to dry up.

"How long can you stay?" She knew it wouldn't be long but she just wanted to know that he was going to be here at least for a little while. At least he was here to calm her down and she knew that he was happy about the family they were going to have.

And then it hit her a to what he said happened at the school. "The dungeons flooded? How?" She lifted her head with a worried look on her face. At least she knew that he was okay.

Constantine nuzzled her cheek with his nose. "I can stay for a little while," he said gently and then leaned his head away so that he could look at her as she started on a new topic.

"Aye," he nodded, "the dungeons flooded. We don't know how, but what worries us the most is the fact that we were unable to decrease the water level. What about you, though? How have you been doing?"

"Everything is okay," Madi said with not too much excitement behind her voice. Truth was, she was missing him, a lot. "Caleum stays with me at the house maybe a couple of nights a week and then goes off to do his own thing." It was not worth mentioning everything.

"Oscar is growing," she added with a twinkle in her eyes. "He is the sweetest and greatest watch dog." Not that she planned on anything happening but one never knew.

Armen walked up to Madison's Office to deliver her a flyer on the upcoming elections but when he got to the door he realized there where voices. No doubt her husband was here. So as to not disturb him he pace a flyer just outsde her door where she could find it later.
