Rebecca came in and sat down at the table, this would be an interesting meeting, she looked around at the walls and smiled, finally she was someone important!

Forrester made his way to the Magical Law Enforcement roundtable discussion. Rebecca was all ready there, sitting and waiting. She seemed proud of herself. Good for her, Forrester said to himself as he sat down himself not to far from Rebecca as he smiled to her.
He was ready now all he was waiting for was the rest of the magical law enforcement division heads and their head department as well as the minister and the ministers of the foreign countries

Rebecca smiled back at Forrester 'where's Nicholai and Syd?' she wondered 'and the Ministers!'

Syd walked in, tossing a napkin into a little wastebasket by the door. He had been finishing up some food before heading over and didn't think anyone would beat him over.

"Oh, hey there ya'll," he said, wiping his hands against each other. "Been waiting long?"

"No I have not I don't know about Becky she as been here for longer period of time. So Syd can you inform me more about this discussion?" Forrester asked.

Rebecca smiled "Hi Syd" she smiled at him

"I got here about five minutes before Forrester" she nodded and listened to hear what Syd had to say to Forrester

Reagan popped her head into the room to see that not a single Minister had arrived yet. She asked Syd, "How many of your employees are yet to arrive? You still have time to hunt them down before the Ministers arrive."

"Well if I am not wrong Nicoli is the only one missing" Forrester replied. "I guess he didn't get the note about the whole discussion thing" Forrester added.

Rebecca went a little pink when she saw Reagan "Hi" she mumbled

"Yeah, he needs to get here!" She said a little more audibly this time 'wait! I'm the only woman in an authoritive position in this department!!' Rebecca made a face and a small "tchya" sound, then she smiled and was alert again

"Yes, I believe Nicoli has yet to arrive..." Syd said, hands in his pockets. "I'm sure he just had to go use the little boy's room is all."

He looked around the room and then flipped his hand out of his pocket to check his watch. Yep, Nicoli was late... Hopefully he hadn't been intercepted by the other Americans.

Egypt slipped into the courtrooms quietly. She wanted to listen in on the discussions. She found some spectator seats around the tables that were set up for the department heads and ministers to sit around and talk. She nodded to a few of her colleagues and sat down quietly.

Nicoli walked into the courtroom quickly taking a seat beside Forrester. In his hand was a clenched piece of parchment and a rather devilish looking quill.
"I apologize for my lateness," he said looking around the table, "Only just got the note." Nicoli gestured to the parchment in his hand and looked around the table. It seemed he was last of his department to arrive, though thankfully none of the Ministers had made it before him. Truthfully, his lateness was due to some extent to the writing of a mass note to his employees. They should be here as well, he thought. It was likely this meeting would involve somewhat of a lashing for the poor security at the Conference.

Siobhan walked in right after Nicoli, looking very sulky indeed. She did not understand why she was required to be here when she wasn't even permitted to speak. Really, what was the point? She shot Nicoli a glare before plopping down in a seat, not caring if her lack of grace was disruptive. Hopefully it wouldn't last too long. Every minute she had to stay here was an utter waste of her time.

Nathan skulked, hands shoved into his pockets, into the courtroom repressing the urge to shudder. He truly hated it down here. He didn't know how his wife bared to be down here on a daily basis when she worked for the Wizengamot.

After receiving a memo from Nicoli, Nate had grabbed a quick coffee with five spoons of the disgusting excuse for the drink they provided on Level 2 in an attempt to ward off any potential possibility of falling asleep and snoring during these discussions, and as a result, he was now rather twitchy. It was going to be a real struggle just sitting still throughout this.

He looked around at the spectators, spotting that hit witch... watzzit.. the rude one.. he couldn't remember her name ...maybe he had never been told it in the first place, and gave her a nod of acknowledgement. He smiled when he saw Egypt looking all attentive and professional. He went over to sit with her, patting her knee affectionately before looking over at the round table. Everyone appeared to be here. Stifling a boredom enduced yawn, despite the caffeine, he sat up straight and attempted to look as attentive as his wife did... and probably failing miserably.

Edward walks into the conference room with a smile on his face. He generally considers these conferences a waste of valuable time, but Edward had to be here in his capacity as the French Minister of Magic's security. Edward is also looking forward to watching Forrester in action. It should be fun. He makes his way to the spectator seating and finds a seat next to Egypt. "Hello, is this seat taken?"

"Don't worry about it Nicoli come sit next to me" Forrester said as he made sure that the seat was unoccupied for Nicoli,

Rebecca smiled at Egypt

Rebecca looked up and gasped as Nicoli came in "Hi" she smiled

Rebecca frowned at Siobhan 'what's up with her?' she wondered

Rebecca smiled at Nate kindly

"Hi Edward" she blurted out

Rebecca smiled as she pulled out a seat for Nicoli, she grinned

Nicoli gave Forrester a smile. He was in an usually forgiving mood. "Thanks," he said as he moved towards the table. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a few of his own employees gathering in the spectator seating area. Neither looked happy and Nicoli's eyes twinkled.

Nicoli smiled, and his eyes became a shade lighter. "Hello! Thank you!" he said. It felt...almost as if he was the damsel in distress rather than his counter-part. Of course, she would more likely be the dragon-hunting woman who left everyone's mouths gapping.

Rebecca smiled at Nicoli, she noticed his eyes lit up "You're welcome" she turned back to look at the middle of the table "Bad day huh?" she asked Nicoli glancing sideways

Nicoli took the offered seat and glanced at his superior, Syd Wordsmith. How long would it be before he got the sack for his absences? How long will he be able to make things a little better in this world? How long will it be before he does something right?
Nicoli glanced at Rebacca, "Bad month more like," he said smirking ruefully.
There was still the matter of what exactly they were going to discuss at the meeting...the jewel thief obviously, and then possibly that insane woman. He knew that Miss Reagan and the Minster and his wife would be in attendance, that at least would perhaps bring forth some clues.

Nathan noticed one of the Division head's smiling at him. He didn't know her name but he had seen her around the department on a few occasions. She seemed like a nice woman. He smiled back at her warmly.


His eyes wandered over to Nicoli. He gave his boss a supportive nod. Nicoli was a young man to have such responsibility on his shoulders but Nathan always had complete faith in the man. He was sure he could never do what Nicoli did. It was going to be interesting to see how he fared against 'the big guns' during these discussions.

Syd watched as various members of his staffed wandered in. He stayed standing as they all took their seats, waiting for the ministers to come in. Why did they have to discuss? Whatever happened to giving a speech and answer a couple questions- literally a couple. Hopefully they could get it all over with quickly.

Crash is happy that he has been invited to this roundtable discussion. Crash, being the law officer he is looks around for suspicious movements or people here. Crash says "Hello and thanks for inviting me"

Rebecca smiled "Yeah, I know what you mean" she nodded.

Rebecca grinned "I'm Rebecca. Nice to meet you" she whispered.

Rebecca frowned "You ok Syd?" she asked curiously.

Rebecca smiled "Sure, take a seat" she smiled as she indicated a seat at the side.
