He finished reading over the final bit of information he needed fromthe papers before the woman next to him finally spoke. he set the papers to a side and took a drink of Coffee as she introduced herself. He put down the cup and again turned to face her.

" James Randall." he introduced himself with a smile and a confident hand shake. "Pleasure to meet you ma'am." His accent was was thick and southern from growing up in america and even with all the years in London and school at hogwarts he still hadn't been able to rid him self of the slow southern draw in his voice.

When James spoke Rosalie's smile widened. He was from America, the same part as her too...probably a different state though. It was nice to meet another southerner. Something told her he wasn't from Astoria Mississippi. If he was he'd know her father...which wasn't good...maybe he'd have heard of the freak Hale child that never went outside...another state was good....

"It's nice to meet you James." Rosalie stated as she retracted her hand, and set her book on the table beside her chair. "Where are you from?" She added curiously, and leaned on the armrest, nearer James while she awaited his response. Though Rosalie was from Mississippi she'd always covered up her accent well. She spoke with the same accent as anyone who'd grown up in England.

"Bayou La Batre, Alabama," James answered. " Small town down around the gulf, You probably haven't heard of it, There ain't many around here that has." he propped one elbow against an armrest as she leaned on her armrest." howa bout you? From around here he asked?" James hadn't been in the department long and he didn't know that many peolpe here just yet and had figured what better place to start that here with Rosalie.

"Oh I've lived here since I was eleven. In London actually. But I grew up in this little town called Astoria Mississippi." She explained. "I haven't been there in years, but it's nice to find someone from the same general area." Rosalie responded honestly. No matter how much time she spent away from it, Mississippi would always be home.

"Anyways...which devision do you work in?" Rosalie inquired. She'd only just started that day, and hadn't met anyone but James. She'd spoken to the devision head, AJ Silverstone (an old friend), but that was all.

ooc: Ok I'm half dead....I may have to pick this up tomorrow....

" I know that feeling it's been some time since I been in La Batre, to be honest." He admitted his mind drifted breifly to the last time he has been in the states. but this wasnt the time to think about that. "beast division- Centaur liason.... Werewolf services?.. he asked nodding towards the book she had been reading when he entered.

Corvus walked into the Room and sat down, she had just come from the Pest Advisory Board and desided to take a break.

She pulled out a book and began reading.

"Oh I'd love to meet a centaur. I think they are facinating." Rosalie remarked. Though she wasn't one that usually liked to rough it, or spend time in the out-of-doors, she could appreciate how thrilling a magical creature was. Why she had to work with werewolves, however, was a mystery.

"But yes. Your very attentive. It's my first day actually. I'd been hoping to get on in the Law Enforcement department....cause honestly, I have insight into their work...the Aurors at least." She shrugged. Their loss. She knew she could help. She wanted to help. But if they weren't intersted--

Emily had been lost in a day dream about Hippogriffs and cats. She was remembering her last vacation to Madrid and couldn't help but chuckle at the memory of her daughter trying to ride the riddiculous creature before it was captured. She only hoped the Ministry had finally gotten around to fixing the spell and repairing the damages.

Shaking her head she stretched and looked down at her coffee. "Good job Emily." she muttered, before looking around and blinking. When did all these people show up? She wondered, gazing at the new comers. She made a pact to get to know most of them soon, if not sooner. She didn't want to be known as a loner anymore. But first she had a few files to look over at her office.

Getting up she smiled at the others before filling her coffee up and walking towards the door. Her hand bag swung precosiously around in a wide circle, almost knocking off a bunch of papers off a desk. Sighing again she walked out, looking for the proper venue.

James couldn't help but grin he rememebered wanting to be an auror when he was younger, He was pretty certian at one time or another all wizards thought it would be cool. " I enjoy it," He answered." werewolves might be a bit interesting, who knows after an assignment or two you could decide that it suits you.."

"I'm sure it will be fine. I'll get use to it...I just feel that my knowledge would be better served aiding the Aurors." She announced firmly. There was no need to explain that she'd been raised by a death eater. A man that had gone to Azkaban only five years back. That she knew the names of many who still folowed the Dark Lord. That she knew of other organizations that were terrorizing muggles.

Still, it felt odd, that she would be working with Werewolves. They were so barbaric. Rosalie had the intentions of showing up to work every day in skirts, and heals. It was something her mother had impressed upon her over the years, the digustingly girly flare.

"I probably should be heading back..." Rosalie stated. She sighed, and picked up her book. "It was wonderful meeting you James, but there is much to be done." She nodded her head at him before she came to her feet. Once upright, she smoothed out her colorful, knee length skirt, then headed for the door.

" Pleasure was mine." He said with a smile as she stood to leave. He had the feeling something he had said might of struck a nerve but he wasnt sure He watched as she started across the room." Hope to see you around rosaline." He finished off his coffee and picked up his own things to leave.

Katherine's ears perk up as two newcomers into the break room start talking about werewolves. She glances over and sees a younger girl stand up to leave. I wonder if she's in the same section as I am, she thinks. Picking up her black coffee mug, she drinks a bit more, realizing the cup is finally almost empty. I'll check her out when I leave to go back to my desk, she decides.

Rubbing the back of his neck and yawning slightly, Zephyrus walked silently into the break room after his few grueling hours of getting himself up to speed on his new job. It was working out well for him, which was a plus. It was completely different from his old job, but he guessed he'd just have to get used to it.

The young twenty year old made himself a cup of coffee and sat down at a random chair. He wasn't partial to coffee, but for some reason he had a taste for it. Perhaps it had been the smell that enticed him to go to the break room in the first place.

He ran his fingers through his dirty blond hair and looked around at the many people occupying the room. Apparently everyone was on their break now. This was a good thing for him; he apparently knew when it was time to take a rest. So far, so good.

This was probably the first time she had left her work station, even if it was quiet; wandering around abit just seemed like fun..maybe? Andrea hadn't been working here for long, probably just about a week now, and of course she didn't exactily know her way around, she wouldn't need to. The young lady tended to keep to herself, and her job. Normally, she didn't talk unless spoken to rather then the other way around.

As she went further into the room, her steps light and short, Andy observed her surroundings as she walked. A small, friendly smile played upon her lips, though nearly vanished once her hazel brown orbs caught a familar young man's gaze, very briefly. "Zeph?" She asked as she slowly approached, her normally overly quiet tone had changed none. Repeating herself but in a more proper, polite manner, Andy rephrased that question. "Zephyrus Griffin, I mean?"

As he placed his coffee cup on the table after taking a swig, Zephyrus heard a familiar nickname uttered by a very familiar voice. Could it be? No, it couldn't. His green-gray eyes landed on the young woman standing before him and he immediately comprehended who this was. How could they possibly be working at the same place? It was beyond him, but he was happy all the same.

"Abi? Erm...Andrea Ives?" He was still in disbelief. Yet when he looked at her face and hazel eyes it had to be true. His face erupted into a dazzling, pearly white smile as he stood to face her. "It's been too long Ab." With that, he took her into a huge bear hug. It was so nice to work with someone who he had gone to school with.

After releasing her from the hug, the young man pulled her down to the chair next to his and immediately began to reminisce. "What did you do after Hogwarts? We kinda drifted apart, sadly." That was the one thing he hated about school: the people who you became close with always worked far away and they never had time to see you. Then again, he never really had time to see anyone but his family.

Zephyr was truly glad to see an old friend. The two had gotten along so well in school, he seriously didn't know where he would have been without her in a few select classes. And here she was, in the flesh. Things were definitely in his favor lately.

"I do say, It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm a bit of a recluse, as you might have seen me earlier, coming in here and doing work while everyone mingled," he lightly laughed, a bit of a hypnotic sound. Oh well. He smiled and kept on with the conversation. "What division do you work in? I haven't even met anyone in my division," he trailed off and took a look over the room, trying to spot anyone who might be working with him.

Katherine snapped back into the real world as she heard Vlad laugh. She realized she had zoned out momentarily, and tried to at least catch the last part of what he was saying. " Um, I'm in the Being Division. Werewolf Support Services." She glanced around the room. "I don't think I know anyone in your division either. But that doesn't mean they couldn't be in here." There were several people in the break room that she had never met.

Vlad eyed the girl when he realized she kind of snapped back into herself. Maybe she was astral projecting? A few people had complaints about that last week. He would ask later, of course. "Division Head of Spirits. Though, my division is really slow at the moment," he shrugged his shoulders. Hmm, he looked down into Katherine's eyes.

They were brown. A deep, chocolate coloured brown. "Vous avez de beaux yeux, le coup manqué," he smiled down at her and picked up his mug and got himself another cup of coffee.

Katherine looked at Vlad curiously. She could tell that he had said something about her eyes, but her knowledge of French was extremely basic. As he went to get more coffee, she spoke. "Um, thanks, I guess."

AJ entered the break room, her eyes looking heavy already, even though the offices had only just opened. Her mouth opened to speak, but along yawn came out in it's place. After that stifled she rubbed her eyes for a moment and stretched, her back cracking several times.

"Paperwork is boring." she announced, to no one in particular. She sat down at a table after getting herself a cup of coffee, and only then did she smile and look around at everyone.

"So how are you all liking work so far?" she asked them, and turned to Rosalie, "Hey Alie, how's Kaila doing?" she said, smiling. "It's good to see you again." she added.

AJ remembered way back in school, back at Hogwarts, what some of her final parting words with Pauline, another good old friend, were. They'd both promised to meet up again some day, and wanted to work at the Ministry, with animals. Well, Pauline hadn't made it, but here she was, Aricca was working in the minstry, tho she still much preferred to be called AJ and get to goof off with her friends. But, alas, that was in the past, she had to be the responsible one now.

Corvus stood up, she then collapsed into her animagus form. She walked over to a nice comfy looking spot on the floor, circled it three times and then lied down.

She had taken the form of a fox, right now it was black, but since her hair colour could change when ever she wanted it too it could have been purple, but who has herd of a purple fox?

Jack came in just seconds after AJ, just in time to hear her question about work. He noticed that the break room was a little crowded.

"Well, this seems like quite a reunion, huh?" he said, while opening a bottle of water he brought along, "Hey Aricca, how are you?" he asked her, she seemed to have a lot of work, "I think work is fine right now" he replied, "However, you seem to be taking all our work" he continued.

Jack saw a purple fox on the floor, and smiled a little, he walked toward the couch very careful not to get in the way of the fox. He sat looking around and taking some sips of his bottled water.

"Did you read that petition on the bulletin board? What's the source of it, Aricca?" he asked, he'd been curious about it since one of those came into his office.

After asking James about the paper he and Jocelyn decided to take a break and discuss it further in the break room. As they was walking down the hall toward the break room James replied.

Jocelyn looked at James as he began to ramble then she grinned when he mentioned her shampoo again. “Are you okay,” she asked at about the same moment she heard I like you. What, she thought to herself- did he just say what I think he said. She almost froze in middle of the hall but she managed to keep her pace.

“Umm- James,” she said continuing into the break room. She glanced around looking at everyone in the room and decided to walk over to the corner of the room before continuing the conversation.

" Sorry Joss.. i didn't me-..." He stopped as they entered the breakroom. he remained quiet as he followed her to the corner and took a seat. he stayed quiet though he had already made a fool of himself and didnt want to make it worse.

Jocelyn took a seat beside James as she began to shake her head lightly. "No James- dont apologize," she sat very still as many thoughts began to pump threw her mind. "Did you mean it or did you not-," she finally blurted out.

She glanced down to notice she was still holding the paper in her hand and had started to crumble it by her grib. She eased her grip as she contniued to look down at the paper.
