Rowling. SPOILER!!: List of Mentioned Characters SPOILER!!: List of Prompts 1. Sorting Hat {Group 18, Prompt 1} He was finally here. Hogwarts. Tiny, nervous and eleven years old, Jude wanted nothing more than to go back home to Addison, Connor and Keighley. Eyes that could barely meet anyone else scanned the sea of students already seated. He sought Reagan and found her. When she beamed at him, his confidence rose once more. Jude smiled back just as his name was called to be Sorted. Before the Sorting Hat dropped over his eyes, he caught sight of a particular Ravenclaw. Though Jude didn’t know it at the time, he’d just had the first glimpse of his best friend. |
2. Judgement {Group 4, Prompt 1} At primary school, Evan ften felt like he didn't fit in. And clearly, his peers thought similarly of him. At 11 and younger he'd been able to show more excitement, but his expressions were still often rather... lacking. Gaining him the nickname "Robot", which always bothered him. Things at Hogwarts were better, but the commentary was still similar: he was perpetually upset. Or... he should try smiling more. And while he knew comments were well intended, it was still withering to hear them. But one person never judged him on his lack of enthusiasm. And it quickly had made Jude his favorite person. |
1. Air {Group 9, Prompt 4} He always carried that hope that Evan would come around, would return the romantic affections. Jude found out this sadly wasn’t the case when he confessed to falling in love with his best friend during the summer of 2107. His heart shattered and it felt as though all the air had been deprived from him. Looking back at that situation a year later still hurt but at least his friendship had survived. THEIR friendship had survived. Jude’s breath would still catch whenever he looked at Evan. It told him that he would always have those special feelings for the bestie. |
