Winged Horse Stables - Grounds
All the magnificent horses of Beauxbatons are housed in these stables. Here, you can find the large Abraxans that pull the carriages at the beginning and end of each term, as well as Granians, Thestrals, and Aethonans in their designated areas.

You are welcome to visit these incredible creatures at any time; however, to ride them, you must obtain permission from the Creatures Magiques. They are unlikely to allow you to ride without their supervision. The stables are protected by special enchantments and will remain locked until you have received permission. While the horses are generally tame, they should always be approached with caution. Never mistreat them or attempt to ride a horse that does not wish to be ridden.

Inside the stables, there is a supply cupboard stocked with all the equipment you need to care for the animals. You will also find treats in the cupboard, so don't hesitate to reward the horses for a job well done. Please remember that the horses used for pulling carriages only accept single malt whiskey; do not try to give them anything else. Once you have finished, make sure to lock the cupboard carefully, as you will be held responsible for any releases or damages that occur afterward.
