Beauxbatons Academy of MagicLocated in the Pyrenees mountains is a prestigious wizarding school renowned for its elegance: Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
The Grand Ballroom is the widest room in the entire castle, fitted on three sides with wall windows and silk curtains, and is where many of the school’s events are held. On an average day, the room is bare save for the grand piano that sits in the centre. This is moved off to the corner during special occasions. The floors are tiled and have anti slipping charms to prevent accidents on its exceptionally clean surface. Several sofas are placed along the sides of the room for comfortable seating.
Dance lessons are held here periodically, regardless of upcoming events. This is another quiet space within the school, usually empty and usually undisturbed. Eating in this room, outside of special occasions, is strictly prohibited. Dueling, fighting or any other behaviour that can result in destruction or chaos is also strictly prohibited.

“Watch me play a masterpiece, Serge!’’
Johnny halted in his mad dash for the Ballroom’s piano. “Rather, LISTEN to me play.” Because what was the sense in watching someone hit the keys only? He flopped himself unceremoniously down on the piano bench but he didn’t mind; he was generally that goofy, and Serge didn’t seem to mind that about him. “Okay, here goes! Be warned, your ears are in for a treat.”
Jon cracked his knuckles, allowed his fingers to linger over the keys as he wiggled them as though he were performing some sort of pre-piano concert ritual. He straightened his back at the same time his fingers dropped to the keys.
Instead of a melodious tune filling the air, random notes did.
Johnny may have forgotten to mention that he was rubbish at playing any instrument.

What was Serge doing in the Ballroom? Just chilling. That was what you did at Beauxbatons in general. Chilling, especially when the end is near. This third year also liked to chill with his enthusiastic friend.
"Okay." He was exquisite with words, walking after him before he sat by the piano. He was going to put on a show. And a show it was, as random keys were being played with him drumming and sliding along the keys. Surely, someone would stop this?
Not Serge. He blinked out of curiosity. For however long this tune continued, his face remained not phased in the slightest. It wasn't that he wasn't impressed, his face just lacked the muscle to show it.
"That was Marvelous." He said as he gave a golf-like clap. A touch of sarcasm? Honesty? Take your pick, because Serge usually meant what he said.

Oui, Johnny was that enthusiastic friend, would always be!
Johnny never minded that Serge didn’t talk a whole bunch; he was more than pleased and capable to do all the chattering for the both of them. Serge didn’t seem to care that he talked a lot, or that cared that the random offkey tune was emitting from the piano. Then again, sometimes Johnny found it difficult to read his friend due to the limited words spoken, and Serge’s face was usually devoid of expressions.
Placing his hands on his lap since he was done, he giggled. “Thank you, thank you! I’m accepting flowers in appreciation of my performance.” It was nice of Serge to humour him like that because Jon knew how atrocious that had been. “You play?” he asked curiously, patting the empty spot on the seat beside him. “Well, even if you don’t, you can give it a try. If you want to, that is.”
