Gobstones Championship Match: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin

The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the warm, start of summer air and its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's final all deciding championship match.

The red and green marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area (http://www.snitchseeker.com/gobstones-club/gobstones-viewing-area-98367/) for those not playing to watch.

Mr Kitridge had walked in with his hands stuck in his coat pockets against the cold morning air, the Ancient Runes Professor had graciously set up the hall for the fourth and final match so Leo could focus on lighting one of the fireplaces. As the teams assembled he put his wand to his mouth to enhance his whistle to get the players attention. "Good morning and welcome to the Gobstones club, today's our fourth and final game of the season, I hope you're all as excited and geared up as I am for the championship decider." Not waiting for any responses Leo quickly signalled for the teams to choose their representatives for the first shot of the game.

The audience applauded modestly, Leo clapping enthusiastically as the chandeliers above them breathed what resembled fireworks. "Congratulations Gryffindor for being the Champion of Gobstones Club! Thank you Slytherin for being such a tough competition." Clapclapclap. "Our player of the match is Ms. Zoe Tillstorm . Thank you for being such a devoted member in this club. Thank you Mr. Mordaunt and for playing viciously with us today, too." Clapclapclap. "Thank you everyone who attended our club meetings, this is it for this term, we'll see you next term... when it's hopefully warmer." He clapped in the audience's direction one last time and turned to start tidying up.
