There's plenty of seating at the back of the train. Grab a compartment with your friends and take a seat; the Hogwarts Express is about to depart!

So no goodbyes, it was agreed on. Maddie (http://www.polyvore.com/maddie_train_2085/set?id=142614581) tugged Noel towards the back cars and into an empty compartment before releasing his hand and settling down. She leaned back in the seat comfortably and smiled, relaxed. Maybe Kyroh and Dima would join them in a bit?

She'd left his comment and question from their walk to the compartment unanswered and now that they were settled, she figured she could give him a response. "You did, who?" Because if Noel found someone to kiss before she had, she MIGHT feel a bit disappointed. "I'm still looking. I don't want to snog just anyone." He already knew her requirements. They'd been discussed.

She'd left his comment and question from their walk to the compartment unanswered and now that they were settled, she figured she could give him a response. "You did, who?" Because if Noel found someone to kiss before she had, she MIGHT feel a bit disappointed. "I'm still looking. I don't want to snog just anyone." He already knew her requirements. They'd been discussed.

He was sort of RELIEVED knowing her search was still going on. "You know her very well, I suppose" he added - pacing some more and then stopping when someone's head popped in to ask if they could sit with them. "No" Noel said with a frown before shutting the door. Because they could not have ANYONE in the compartment while they had this conversation.

"So yes, you know her and I know her - or maybe I don't but whatever I do know of her I like" Noel turned to continue his pacing and rambling. "And so you know ... " he stopped, turning to look at her but before he could finish the sentence he said: "WHY ARE YOU SITTING?" She was not suppose to be sitting! That changed the whole .. yeah!

Maddie just STARED up at the Hufflepuff when he moved closer, ready for an argument. By argument, she of COURSE meant when Noel tried to tell HER she was wrong while Maddie KNEW that HE was. It was an on going thing with them, it seemed. Poor boy was delusional. What happened next surprised her, though. She certainly hadn't expected that and it wasn't often she was caught off guard.

There were lips touching hers and Maddie was aware that she'd won because while Noel had told her she wouldn't enjoy snogging for experimental purposes, she wasn't exactly HATING this. The thirteen year old squeezed her eyes shut so as not to be distracted by how odd it was to have someone's face so close to hers. Instead she focused on important things so that she could write them down later and share her knowledge with Dot and Dima and Kyroh. Things like how Noel's lips were softer than they LOOKED. And how she tasted mint and couldn't stop herself from wondering what Noel had eaten JUST before their walk to this compartment. So this had been planned for a long time, then? Sneaky Wallace. She also noted that the height difference wasn't ideal. It must be uncomfortable to bend down like HE was doing because SHE certainly wasn't going out of HER way to close the distance. And once ALL the assessments were made and Maddie gave herself one last second to consider the feeling of Noel Wallace's lips on hers, she broke away and looked up at him, eyebrows raised.

"Well it wasn't TERRIBLE." Grin!

Charlotte made her way down the train to the back carts on her own. She walked halfway down until she finally found a cart that looked comfy enough (because, to her, not every cart was exactly the same).

Before entering, she looked back to see if Declan was around but didn't spot him at all. They had agreed to just meet on the train because he had loads of people to talk to and whatnot and she was really more interested in not being bothered by people on this train ride. Just the boyfriend was good enough for her.

Entering the cart, she lied down one side and waited for Dec to show up. Hopefully he wouldn't miss the train!

His brain thought otherwise, apparently. He took his arm back from around her to shove his hands in his pockets and he waited, his back pressed against the train wall.

Kisses clearly equaled happiness. She would have given him more too if Dec didn't have something to say. And then he made her switch seats with him, what even? Not that she was using the windows really, but she was already so comfy where she was and now she had to make her bum feel comfortable in this seat.

Wiggling around a bit and moving closer to him again so she could rest her head on his arm, Dec finally spoke, and she quickly grew extremely confused. What in the world was this boy talking about? "Uh...that's cool?" Was she supposed to choose a place in the states too? Charlotte shrugged, made sure not to look up at him so he couldn't see her confusion, and just went with it. "I guess I choose.....New York?" Because he had just taken her to Cali over break, so New York was the next best place...and those were the only two states she really knew about.

"Does this mean we're taking trips to these places this summer?" Because she was totally up for that.

After stowing their luggage Adi and Benny made their way down the Train's corridor, looking for a compartment. As usual, Gus had taken up position on Adi's left shoulder, croaking away and adding to the mild chatter that could be heard from various compartments.

"This one,'' Adi said to Gus and Benny. It was empty so there was plenty of space for when the girls found them. The Hufflepuff slid the door open, stepped in and collapsed onto one of the seats nearest to the window. He could hardly believe they were going home again. Where had the year gone? :blink:

Benny followed his best friend, Conrad's cage in his grasp as they moved down the train corridor. The owl for once had opted to travel with the train rather than fly home before him. Judging by the hoots he sent Gus's way as the toad was perched on Adi's shoulder, the two animal friends were in conversation. As best he believed they could be anyway. Finally the Hufflepuff leader had paused and the Gryffindor nodded at the claiming of the compartment.

"Fine by me..." he mused as he entered the compartment, stowing Conrad's cage in the free cushion space by door Still plenty of room for companions to come, where ever they were off to.

Angel was looking for her boyfriend Benny and her friend Adi and her sister AJ, but so far there was nothing they had all abandoned her and she didn't like that.

Angel was searching around when suddenly she saw Benny and Adi... she opened the compartment door. "Hey... there you all." Angel started then stopped. "Where is AJ?" Angel had been looking for her sister, she had a present for her that she hadn't given her at the feast because she asked for one.

Angel went over and sat down near Benny. "Hey handsome." Angel giggled, now she had no idea what she wanted to do so she took out a book and started to read because she was sad she would not be seeing Benny and Adi much.

Ophelia yawned as she opened an empty compartment and sat down. This year was... interesting. Certainly not like her parents method of homeschooling, which was basically the 'read from a book and answer questions like little worker bees' method. Apparently that was how schooling went in the old days and apparently her mother enjoyed that way of schooling more than others. Anyway......

Sitting straighter in her seat, the eleven year old wondered where Austin was, and how he was doing. How was the twelve year old handling going back to his mother and sister? Was he okay? The Ravenclaw felt her stomach clench as she thought of going home to a very sick family member. Except, that might have been hunger. The girl hadn't done much eating at the feast. Nah, the girl had been too busy talking to people and looking around at others. It was a habit. A weird habit, but a habit.

With a jolt in her legs, the girl stood up in the compartment and decided to go look for King Blue-Eyes, as he was affectionately named, but after a second of thought, slumped back down in her seat. That would come later, along with saying goodbye at the train station and saying hello to her parents and many, many siblings. 'Ophies birthday was coming up soon. *cough cough* parents *cough cough*

Opening a book that she was carrying, the freckled girl began reading quietly, quite sad to be leaving. Even though the year was weird, it was still fun. She made friends, got to have a food fight in a classroom, and got to learn a bunch of weird and fun things in classes. And it should be more fun next year when Ophelia actually knew what she was doing.

She was THIRTEEN. She didn't WANT a boyfriend. He certainly didn't have to worry about THAT. BOYS, they were a bunch of drama kings, the lot of them. Her brothers being the leaders of the bunch.

Turning slightly in her seat so she could watch the Hufflepuff's expression, Maddie considered his answer. Nice was a good way to describe it, yes. "Your lips are softer than I thought they'd be." Since they were being honest. "Your mouth was minty too. What did you eat before this?" She wanted to know, of course. She wanted to know ALL the things. "Also, we could practice again some time if you wanted. Seems a pity not to, considering your lips seem attracted to mine." Casual, she was.

The school year was officially over, and AJ would not be stepping back inside the castle for several months. Normally she would be pumped for the summer break, and she still was in some ways, but there wouldn't be an Adi in her little break and that was a hard pill to swallow. Boy, was she going to miss him.

The gang had to already be on the train because AJ was running behind... story of her life. As she stepped on the train she noticed that compartments were already being claimed. AJ popped her head into each on looking for the three faces that she hung with the most.

When she stuck her head into the next compartment her eyes lit up. There he was. AJ made her way over to Adi and wrapped her arms around him. Ah, this was nice. She knew she could safely hug him on the train. The soon to be third year made herself at home and smiled at the other two. "Hey guys." Why was Angel reading? If it were her, she would be soaking up all of Benny that she could on the train ride home.

Settling into place to be ready to start of their journey back home, Ben looked up as the compartment door opened once more. Angel made her appearance on her own. "Hey Angel," the outgoing fourth year greeted back before shaking his head. "Haven't seen her." Yet surely the two girls couldn't have gotten too separated....right? Having been coming from the same dorms after breakfast.

"Hi..." he returned as she sat down on the cushioned seat near him, the boy offering her a small smile and willing himself not to color at the complimentary nickname. Alas, there was the fourth Amigo soon enough, the other girl slipping into the compartment and nearly making a beeline for Adi. Yeah, they all were so going to miss each other during the summer.

"Hey." As for the reading Angel...he didn't interrupt, even as he absently watched her since they weren't quite moving much yet.

His fourth year of Hogwarts was just wrapping up and he enjoyed every minute of it, even though he was an expert at slacking off in his classes and in general. But he got better as the year went along so that counted for something right?

It was time to get back on his favorite train in the whole wide world, The Hogwarts Express. He was soon to be joined by his mother and father in London. He thought to himeself, I can't wait to see Mom and Dad. Although he loved being at Hogwarts, it was something about being home that made him feel complete.

Until then, Jordan found an empty compartment in the back car section of the train and put his luggage in the proper luggage compartment and took a seat by himself. "Hopefully more people get on here, a train ride by myself would be very boring." Jordan said imagining having nothing to say to anybody.

Gabe really didn't like the increase of people towards the back of the train...but he was looking for someone in particular and it couldn't wait. See, he'd seen Clara at the feast...though, she hadn't really wanted to be seen, maybe. She'd been looking at him, he knew...but he wouldn't have talked to her in such a populated area. Gabe had his reasons.

The train, however, was okay.

Opening the door to her compartment, he took a seat....carefully, mind...and looked at her. Clara was sketching. That could only mean she was stressed or near and anxious break. He'd spend a whole year in Ravenclaw with this girl. Gabriel knew things about her.

Promptly after sitting down, Dormouse Gus leapt down from Adi's shoulder and hopped over to Conrad's cage. "Don't those two ever run out of things to talk about?" he wondered aloud. There the two creatures went, croaking and hooting away. Adi turned to look out of the window. OOOOH! Bad idea. It was super bright out there causing him to wince in pain and shut his eyes. Why did that hurt so bad? O__O

"Hey, Angelfish,'' Adi said, sloooooowly opening his eyes and peeking up at her. "I dunno... she hasn't found us yet. I suppose she'll be here any minute though.'' He shut his eyes again and leaned back in his seat, praying that he wouldn't get another headache.

Sure enough, AJ was there. He could feel her arms around him. "Hi, AJ,'' Adi said, opening his eyes again and smiling at her. He hugged her back. "Why are you always so late these last few days?'' he teased.

Angel didn't know what to say... so she was still reading her book when her sister came in... well now was a good time to give her the present she had been holding for her. "Here you go sis." Angel beamed, she didn't know if her sister would like the mint chocolate chip lip-gloss she had found for her.

Angel decided that she would cuddle up to Benny whilst she read the book, she was feeling a bit sleepy, she rested her head on his shoulder and then just got back on with the book that she was reading.

The four of them weren't the only friends hanging about. Gus the toad had joined Conrad the owl and Benny inwardly chuckled before hearing his own bestie's musings. " Don't think so...bunch of gossips." He could only imagine what the two could possibly be saying to each other and Conrad at least had the ability to see much without notice from the air.

Noticing the way Adi reacted to looking out the window, he couldn't help but frown slightly. "You okay?" The other boy seemingly prefering to keep his eyes closed at the moment. And was it him or was he a little more subdued than normal? Well, mostly until AJ came into the mix.

That was one of the things he regretted most about this year, his lack of motivation to get more friends at Hogwarts.

"Yes, I love being at Hogwarts but I love home with my parents!." Jordan's parents lived not too far away from London but also lived far enough to not be disturbed by city people. It was as if they lived on a farm or some open land.

AJ situated herself so that she was sitting as close to Adi as possible without actually sitting on his lap. Her eyes flitted down to Adi's present that was still where he left it. It was perfect. Movement caught her eye, and she lifted her head. Her sister had finally acted like she was dating Benny, but she still had her nose in the book. AJ was just about to call her Abby when she spoke up about a present. "I was just kidding at the feast, you know." But, PRESENTS!

She stood up and accepted the gift from her sister. Lipgloss... AJ didn't wear make-up. It was then that she realized the flavor and a smile slowly played over her lips. "Thanks sis." It was actually pretty perfect. AJ unscrewed the lid and ran the brush slowly over her lips... a girl had to make sure that you didn't miss a spot.

A few smacking noises were made with her lips, and she plopped herself back down beside Adi. AJ looked into his eyes and winked before looping her arm around his and laying her head on his shoulder, mimicking her sister.

But they'd see each other in DA so that was something to look forward to. Oh yeah. That reminded him...

With Ginger cradled in one arm and the other pulling his luggage behind him, Dylan searched the train for an empty compartment. It was really too bad Ginger had gotten distracted by a butterfly and jumped out of his arm on the way to the train...it had taken him forever to catch her! And now it seemed all the compartments were full. Sighing, he was about to give up when he spotted his friends Jordan and Adi both sitting together in a compartment. He beamed. Two of his good mates! Perfect!

Setting his luggage down, he slid open the door and waved. "Hey guys, mind if I join?" he asked.

Hard time adjusting without friends? That part was funny considering that Adi was the most upbeat and friendly person there. Sometimes he would just go up to random people and start talking to them, so that came as a shock.

Jordans Dad, Xavier, loved doing magic stuff with Jordy like going to Quidditch matches, flying on brooms with Jordy, and other stuff. "Cricket huh? I never really got into that to be honest. I'm assuming you like it then?" Jordy's sport was definitely not cricket, he would prefer watching the paint dry because Cricket could last for hours.

The wheels were turning now that Noel was talking about FEELINGS and all THAT junk. So he had feelings, then? Feelings directed at HER that were the cause for him to kiss her? She didn't know how to feel about that. Maddie liked Noel and all but the reasons for wanting to kiss him were more based on the fact that she trusted him and knew he had good dental hygiene. They weren't on the same page with this...per usual.

"So what are you saying, exactly? You want to kiss me again but not for practice?" But SHE wanted to practice and he knew any kisses he gave would be that for her, right? They'd be practice.

Resting her head on Adi was nice. While they were at Hogwarts she could't so much as ruffle his hair without a comment from professors saying that it wasn't allowed. They were a bunch of stiffs if you asked her. What was so bad about hair ruffling? AJ clung to Adi just a bit tighter. She was going to remember this feeling for when she was back at home and wouldn't have Adi in the flesh. Then Adi was handing something over to her. "Oh, cool. I'll have that cell phone in no time." It was safe to say that she had her dad wrapped around her little finger.

Benny's invitation caught her attention. Oh, that would be great. Of course AJ would want to see Benny over the summer, but her main focus was on being able to see Adi. "I'd love to. Do you have any plans on what kind of party you are going to have? Will there be a pinata there?" AJ LOVED pinatas. If not, then she would make sure to bring one for him. EEP. This was exciting.

"It was,'' Adi confirmed in response to Benny's single word reply. "You don't have to feel bad about what happened. It wasn't your fault. Besides, you were funny while others were just mean. If you asked me, you were one of the lucky ones.'' So the bestie had nothing to worry about.

"No...I'm sure its gotten brighter over the last few weeks.'' Adi was reminded of the days during his first and second years when he used to wear a cap pulled low over his eyes for the same reason but after a while things had gotten better... and now it was back and a million times worse. If he remembered correctly, he had even had a headache on the journey back to King's Cross last year too.

The Hufflepuff felt AJ holding on to him a little tighter and looked down at her, knowing what she was thinking. He squeezed her hand, noting she still wore the band he had slipped on her hand. "You're not going to take this off, are you?'' he asked. "Good. I'll look forward to that call.''

Adi cautiously looked back at Benny upon hearing him speak again, squinting in the process. An invite to hang out with the bestie and the girls! That meant he could see AJ earlier than planned. But mainly, he'd get to celebrate Benny's birthday. Awesome! "I'm up for that,'' he replied, bobbing his head enthusiastically but stopping abruptly. One word: Headache. He could feel a mild one coming along. "Just let me know the details as soon as you can.'' He laughed when AJ asked about a pinata. He didn't blame her. There would have to be loads of candy.

Hard time adjusting without friends? That part was funny considering that Adi was the most upbeat and friendly person there. Sometimes he would just go up to random people and start talking to them, so that came as a shock.

"I'm actually a Half-blood so they're split. Dad's a wizard and mom's a muggle, but they both went to Hogwarts." Jordans Dad, Xavier, loved doing magic stuff with Jordy like going to Quidditch matches, flying on brooms with Jordy, and other stuff. "Cricket huh? I never really got into that to be honest. I'm assuming you like it then?" Jordy's sport was definitely not cricket, he would prefer watching the paint dry because Cricket could last for hours.



While talking with Adi, Jordy noticed someone walk in, he was even more excited when he realized that it was his friend Dylan, another fellow Hufflepuff. If some of his friends from Gryffindor came in, they would think that he'd be on the verge of a traitor. I guess that was one positive with not making too many friends with his fellow Gryffindors.

"Hi Dylan! How are you doing?" While Jordan stood up and reached out his hand for Dylan to shake as a proper gesture. Afterwards he sat back down and continued talking: "Are you ready for this train ride back?"

Besides Quidditch Jordan didn't really play too many sports, at least popular Europe sports. "I'm actually really into Basketball. I've played with my dad since I was five and played around some of Europe on a team that travels." Hopefully Adi knew what he was talking about considering that Basketball was not one of the more common sports talked about among Hogwarts students. In fact, Basketball in Europe wasn't that big compared to Basketball in the United States.

"I'm pretty good, how about you?" Dylan asked Jordan with a smile as he shook his friend's hand before grabbing his luggage and dragging it into the compartment. He slid the door shut behind him and stuffed his things up and away and took a seat, allowing Ginger to get comfortable in his lap. He shrugged at Jordan's question. It sort of annoyed him really - because he wanted to enjoy the fact that he had just kissed someone for the very first time, and not contemplate over the technicalities of the future. But no, Maddison Cooper had other things in mind.

"Can we just .. drop it?" he asked quietly, taking his eyes away from her. "Because I really don't have an answer that will satisfy you .."

It sucked that his mood was sinking - he had hoped that this feeling would last longer, but the more Maddie questioned him, the more he thought and the more he thought, the more it sucked.

Gabe really didn't like the increase of people towards the back of the train...but he was looking for someone in particular and it couldn't wait. See, he'd seen Clara at the feast...though, she hadn't really wanted to be seen, maybe. She'd been looking at him, he knew...but he wouldn't have talked to her in such a populated area. Gabe had his reasons.

The train, however, was okay.

Opening the door to her compartment, he took a seat....carefully, mind...and looked at her. Clara was sketching. That could only mean she was stressed or near and anxious break. He'd spend a whole year in Ravenclaw with this girl. Gabriel knew things about her.

"Clara."

This wasn't like Clara at all. She couldn't seem to focus or distract herself the way she usually could. The sheet of paper in front of her was blurry and her hands were shaking ... so much so that her sketch was full of wavy lines. It looked like a child had drawn it. She also couldn't apply the right amount of pressure; where there was supposed to be block colour it was patchy and where there was supposed to be careful detail there were careless mistakes.

She just couldn't do it.

Clara shoved the sketchpad out of her lap, just as another student entered the compartment and sat down. She was just about to tell them to leave her alone when she realised who it was. "Gabe..." she said, swallowing the rest of her words and pointlessly trying to compose herself. It was too late for that, though. He'd seen too much. Besides ... Gabe knew her too well for her to successfully hide her emotions from him.

Maddie simply nodded her head, deciding not to push the issue any further. She had a million other questions to ask, she ALWAYS did, but this time she just left them unanswered. She left them unanswered even IF it was torture not firing them off, one after another. And where exactly DID this leave them? Because Maddie hadn't built up her first kiss in her head much at all so whatever Noel was currently feeling, she certainly couldn't relate to and not being able to ask questions meant she'd have to stay confused about the boy's feelings for a long while, it seemed.

Leaning back against the seat, Maddie rested her hands in her lap and drummed her fingers on her legs. She didn't really have much else to say so she'd continue to mull things over in silence, not the least bit uncomfortable.
