Come send a note or letter using your own owl or any of the school owls. Owls line the walls in nooks and on branches. Pellets, old animal skeletons, and belladonna berries are on the floor.

There are a few pieces of parchment, a ragged quill, and a dried-up bottle of ink on an old wooden desk in the corner should you need to add a postscript to your letter.

Kace decided to go to the owlery alone and take a nice shot of charlene taking flight in the window. He just loved the idea of his owl being graceful. He got his camera around his neck all set up and then he went to go find his owl. He walked around and noticed the Snow Owl. He smiled and cooed her. "Hey girll it is me.." he said and her amber eyes approached him and it was wide. She was happy to see him. He pet her head and even under her ear. She was nuzzling. He told her what to do. "Hey girl I need to take a photo of you...can you manage that for me? All you need to do is fly through the window.." She nodded and went over to the window. Man she was soo smart.

She stretched her wings and looked at him to tell her to say go. He got his camera ready and looked through the viewfinder. He had his finger hover over the button to ready to capture it. "Go ahead girl.." he assured her. She hooted and flew out the window and Kace looked in the finder and got the shot he liked. He smiled and was pleased. Now onto developing it!

He got his wand out and got his photo out. He placed it on his notebook and tapped his wand and said, "Alacer!" and then it didn't work. Hmm...did he say it wrong. He would try it again with more confidence. He tapped his wand and said yet again, "ALACER!" then his photo started moving. It was one of his favorite photos of his pet owl Charlene. He needed to send this to his mother when he was done.

Charlene came back in the window and hooted. He smiled and went over to her and said, "You did well..." he pet her softly and giving her an owl treat as an award.

The oder of owls and their waste wasn't exactly a pleasant one. However the smell was not exactly pungent and the second year could withstand it.

Tongue sticking out just slightly, and hair sticking up all over the place Kyroh squinted as he gazed at the letter in his lap. His legs were folded for maximum comfort, but to be honest, sitting on the cold stone floor in the Owlery during the middle of Winter, was not exactly what one would deem comfortable.
