The snack lady tends to be surrounded by students eager for treats. Please wait your turn, have your money ready, and no pushing!
OOC: No one currently RPs the snack lady, so feel free to RP as paying for and receiving your snacks on your own.

Lex had the perfect strategy for visiting the food trolley. This one was perfectly fool proof and would result in her leaving the trolley with only what she could carry as opposed to everything that could fit into her magically extended bag. Best idea ever by the way but not when one was trying to cut back on sugar for the sake of the sanity of one's best friends. Two out of three worried about her candy eating habits. Go figure.
Lex stood patiently--pfft, yeah right--behind the few gathered before her waiting their turns to be served. Normally they would have been lucky for getting there before she did but not this time. This time she wouldn't even buy all that much. This wouldn't be so hard. Leaving candy behind was possible.
The Fourth Year...or was she a Fifth Year now....tapped her foot, wishing they would hurry this thing up. Honestly, she didn't have all day. Not in any real sense but really, the train wasn't hitting the station any time soon. Still, she didn't want to spend her entire ride here when she'd already resolved she wouldn't be buying it all.

Foooooooood. Food food foodfoodfood. Mo didn't consider himself to be a very patient person, but he was still leagues ahead of the twitchy mess waiting right in front of him. Who was... oh, Lex. He stared at that mass of hair, focusing intently on sending invisible thoughts into her head.
Turn around turn around turn around.
"Cambridge." Buy Mo a pumpkin pasty buy Mo a pumpkin pasty

Lex stuck her hands in the pockets of her shorts, then pulled them out and placed them on her hips. There was some minor foot tapping still going on before she moved her hands into a folded position across her chest. That one kid at the front, the one that didn't seem to know what he wanted, was going to bring out the worst in her...or...he was...until she heard that voice.
Alexa spun on the spot and nearly bumped right into Mo. Think how awful she'd look decking someone infront of a Captain--granted he wasn't her Captain and he couldn't actually get her in trouble but, it was the principle of the thing or whatever they called it.
"Sup?" Looked like he was the latest addition to the line. "You'll be proud to know I'm not buying the whole thing." She bragged, mostly as a reminder to herself. Had to keep it at the front of her mind. "What are you getting?"

Lex had most definitely been spending too much time with Vivi, considering how close she came to decking Mo just for greeting her. He grinned at her, giving her hair a tug before he tried to scoot around and ditch her spot in the line.
"I was thinking of a pumpkin pasty, but now I think I'll buy up the whole trolley before you get there. Just to protect you. I'm doing it out of love, obviously." It was funny she had to qualify her purchase, like Mo was going to judge her for buying the whole thing if she had the money for it. Which... Mo didn't. She would know that.

Lex swatted lightly at his hand but didn't really fuss about it. Whether he tugged at her hair or not wouldn't change the fact that she'd neglected to thoroughly run a brush through before they left this morning. The pumpkin pasty was a very good choice but only because of how Vivi like it was. When she first ran into the older girl on the train to school she'd asked for something pumpkin flavoured and Lex had given her one. Must have been a Branxton thing.
"The whole thing?" Lex asked, casually cutting in front of him again. "I think I've had enough love for this term, thanks." Really, she might have been positively sick of the word now.
"Would you share half of it with me afterwards?" She asked for argument's sake. Even if Mo did have enough money to buy out the entire trolley she didn't think he would. "I would if I were in your shoes and we could make a big compartment party out of it, only I get to make the guest list." Because Mo happened to be friends with some shoddy people. She liked most of them but there were others she did not. Finally, some movement in the line.

Mo actually laughed when Lex cut in front of him again, and he dodged around her to try to once again take the front spot in line. He was BIGGER than her, and maybe probably definitely stronger, and there was no way he couldn't remove her from the line if she didn't respect him properly.
"Love isn't all bad. You shouldn't snog anyone else on my team, 'cause I think you cursed us, but you should snog someone. I feel like even Vivi would approve of that advice." Having someone to snog regularly was basically one of the greatest perks in life, and if you could manage it, you should.
He considered her request seriously as he moved closer to the front of the line and the trolley lady. "I would split it with you 50/50, but only on a few conditions. I get to make the guest list, I get all the jelly slugs and sugar quills, and..." What else what else what else? "And I get to pick the compartment."
