The Forbidden Forest

[Blackwidow]

The forest of many secrets, Hogwarts forbidden forest carpets the edge of the grounds and disperses infinitely. Its forbidden for a reason, and thus should not be entered to so lightly. Be safe, Be vigilant.

Alex headed out to the edge of the forbidden forest with her floating panda bear, looking around for members of the search party. When she wasnt paying attention, she let the poor animal bump, rather hard, into a rock. "Blast it!" she muttered as she levitated the bear onto the ground and released the spells on it so she could fix its bleeding leg.

[Crayola]

The panda was terrified. Pandas were supposed to climb trees and such right? Well, this particular panda didn't like to be in the air for some strange reason. It made her feel rather uncomfortable. And the fact that she was still incapable of moving wasn't really helping. But at least now she was outside. That had to be good, right?

Wrong.

If the panda was able to make a sound, a horrid, painful cry would have been heard when she bumped into a rock. Her front right leg ached alot and she could see a red substance coming out of it. The panda cringed when she was putted back on the ground and immediately rose her injured leg, suporting all her weight on her other three legs.

Looking at the big human, the panda cried out painfully but soon realised something. She was outside and she could move. As quickly as she could, she started running into the forest, groaning rather happily for being free. Hurt, but free.

Alex turned to look behind her when she thought she saw something move out of the corner of her eye. Upon seeing nothing she turned back to the bear only, the bear wasnt there! She looked up just in time to see the bear go behind a tree and disappear from sight. "Drat!" she exclaimed, she really should go into the forest alone, so she turned around and walked away, intent on finding the search party.

[Jason Potter Weasley]

Jason potter flies around the forbidden forest which is home since he was forced out of la Quidditch by Death Eaters and Lord Voldermitis. " I see some animals he tells Professor Pierce. " I hope I am not interfering and do not want to lose points or put in detention, I just figured I wound find students here, since we couldn't find any at the lake" Jason tells her. " I see a Red Fox, Black Cat and a Panda Bear." Jason tells her.

Hitachi found his way to the Forbidden forest hesitantly. He noticed Professor Pierce out and about, searching for students. He approached her and said, "Professor Pierce, I've that students were allowed to search for students with the guide of a professor. I believe that's you professor Pierce?" Hitachi surveyed the large forest, somehow blindly hoping he'd find a wondering student whom needed to be found.

Sana was flying down carefully not hitting any trees as her robes flies behind her. She was in the search group and just came back from the Broomshed after heard Professors instructions. She saw another Professor was there and monitoring everyone. She got near to her and asked, 'Hi professor, is there any tips for us?" But her eyes were searching around the place curiously.

Delilah walked into the Forbidden Forest, marveling at its beauty.

[squidnie]

Sahrina decided to walk into the forest. She had to admit, it scared her a little.

When she walked in she saw Delilah. "Oh, hey, how are you?" she asked walking up to her.

[Chelliephone]

"I'm great" Delilah replied giving her friend a small hug. "And you?"

Delilah walked into the Forbidden Forest, marveling at its beauty.Emily shivered as she entered the Forbidden Forest. Where the heck had the rest of the search party got to? Gah! She never expected to be in the forest…. alone. But for some reason she didn’t turn back, she just kept on walking. Hopefully the rumours she had heard about this place were nothing than just that… stories.

She got a little further in and spotted someone else not to far away. It was that Hufflepuff she’d met at the lake when she’d been with Ellie. 'Oh well.' Any company in this place was better than none. She shrugged and wandered over to the girl. What was her name again? Parker… no…. Packman… no? Parkie! That was it! “Hello Parkie. You lost too?” she asked the girl. Two was better than one.

She jumped as she heard another student. Where had she come from? She raised an eyebrow before giving her a small smile. "Hi." she said quietly to the Ravenclaw. Three was, indeed, better than two when you were lost in the Forbidden Forest.

[Chelliephone]

Delilah turned hearing another voice from behind her she turned to see Ellie's friend Emily. "Hello Emily, no I'm not lost. Are you?" Delilah asked, ignoring the name she was called.

[noodles]

Emily breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Ems was the only person around here with a rubbish sense of direction. “You weren’t with the search party?” she asked. “What are you doing here then?” she asked raising that eyebrow again. Students shouldn't just wander into the Forbidden Forest willy nilly.

[squidnie]

"I'm great" Delilah replied giving her friend a small hug. "And you?"

"Thats good."

"I'm pretty good. THis place is kinda creepy. I mean, it's beautiful, but at the same time, I'm a little scared." she admitted. "Know what I mean?"

[Chelliephone]

"Search Party? Oh right, of course I'm with the search party. I was just meeting here with Sahrina so we could search together. Right Sahrina?" Delilah said realizing if she told the truth she and Sahrina both would be in trouble. Delilah looked at Sahrina for support, hoping she would understand that they now had to join the search party. "And yea it is kinda creepy"

[noodles]

“Hmm…” Was this girl lying to Ems? The cheek of it! She narrowed her eyes as she looked at her. “Any sign of anyone… or anything?” She asked both the girls. Maybe this was a good thing. The three girls would have a head-start searching the forest for any of the missing students.

[Chelliephone]

"No actually." Delilah said shaking her head mournfully. "How about you Sahrina?"

[squidnie]

"Uh........." Sahrina said wonde4ring what Delilah was talking about. She caught on. "Uhm, no, no sign of anything yet." she said.

[Chelliephone]

Delilah moved slowly away from Emily to whisper into Sahrina's ear, "Sahrina, what do you think about joining the search. I really am worried about the missing students." Delilah then looked to Sahrina hoping she would be alright with what she was about to do. "Emily do you want to search with us? Maybe with three heads we can work better and faster."

[noodles]

Emily looked from one girl to the other as they whispered to each other. This was all very suspicious indeed. She folded her arms, “Alright. What were you two really doing here?” she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly. ...As if it was actually any of Emily's business. but she didn't like when people whispered like that... it was just plain rude!

She nodded as Parkie asked if Ems wanted to join them, grateful that she wouldn't be left all alone in the forest. "Thanks, Parkie." she said with a small smile.

[squidnie]

"Fine with me." Sahrina whispered back.
"I'll search with her." she added in a whisper.

[Chelliephone]

Delilah gave Sahrina a grateful galnce then opened her mouth to explain to Emily. "I came in to explore and Sahrina" here she took a glance at Sahrina "Sahrina why did you come into the forest?" Delilah asked then looked at Emily "I really would like to help find the missing students." Delilah said hoping Emily saw the sincerity in her eyes.

Amelia remembered the History of Magic lesson with Lainey, and how other students had perhaps seen animals running off into the forest. If this was the case; students really were turning into animals, then perhaps she ought to scan the forest. Even on a broomstick though, the darkness and noises were still frightening to her sixteen year old self.

Flying several feet above ground, her eyes scanned among the snow glistened forest ground. It didn't take her long before she heard voices. Young voices. Flying just a bit lower, so she could catch a glimpse, there she saw them. Three students - none of them looking more than twelve.

She sighed and flew lower so that she knew she was in earshot. "Excuse me, but are you kids here... in the forest... walking alone?" the sixth year asked. This was definitely not something she would have even considered when she was a first year; search party or not - the forest was forbidden for a reason.

[squidnie]

"Well, I really came to exlaore too. But I reallly care about the missing students." Sahrina told her. She hoped the girl would see she wasnt lieing.

Delilah looked at the girl on the broomstick then looked at Emily and Sahrina and said "We're in the search party looking for the missing students." With these words Delilah shot a small smile in Emily's direction.

Emily eyed the Ravenclaw. 'Her?' Who the hell was her? "My name is Emily." she told the girl with a small fake smile, "I didn't catch your name..."

“Exploring the Forbidden Forest on your own is not a good idea.” Emily told the first year. “Have you even heard about what lurks in here?” This girl must be muggleborn… nobody in their right mind would just wander into the forest just to explore it.

She nodded, noting the girls sincerity in wanting to find the missing students. “Alright.” She replied. “The students were looking for will all be in animal form… you do know that don’t you?” Emily thought she better check these girls knew the full story about what had happened.


She sighed and flew lower so that she knew she was in earshot. "Excuse me, but are you kids here... in the forest... walking alone?" the sixth year asked. This was definitely not something she would have even considered when she was a first year; search party or not - the forest was forbidden for a reason.“Oh merlin..” Just what they needed - interfering prefects... and of the hufflepuff variety. Emily smiled sweetly at the older girl. “We were with the search party but got kinda… lost…?” Well.. that was the truth... for Ems anyway.

"I do now" Delilah said giving Emily a smile. "Do we know the type of animal they are?" She asked wanting to all the information she could.

With her arms crossed, Ellie walked into the The Forbidden Forest.
She had to admit, that place was much more than creepy, that place was really creepy.
They Slytherin girl shook her head, it was just the forbidden forest.
Erm.. right. It was forbidden for some motive.

Ellie continued to walk, calm and slowly. She noticed a professor and some more students and she couldn’t she the face very well.
“Agr!” she said when she tripped in a rock, but this time she didn’t felt on that dirty floor.
“At least I didn’t fell this time.” She whispered to herself while she looked at the rock with her arms crossed.

[Chelliephone]

Delilah hearing a girl cry out in frustration looked at Emily then walked over to the trees and started to walk out towards the sound. But before doing so she turned to Emily and asked "are you coming?" then turned and walked towards the girls voice. Finally reaching her destination, Delilah saw Ellie. "Hello Ellie, are you here to help look for the missing students."

Delilah looked at the girl on the broomstick then looked at Emily and Sahrina and said "We're in the search party looking for the missing students." With these words Delilah shot a small smile in Emily's direction.


“Oh merlin..” Just what they needed - interfering prefects... and of the hufflepuff variety. Emily smiled sweetly at the older girl. “We were with the search party but got kinda… lost…?” Well.. that was the truth... for Ems anyway.


Amelia looked from one girl to the next. Somehow she had a sense that the first girl wasn't telling the whole truth. Besides, it was just confirmed a moment later when the other girl - Emily - mentioned about exploring the forest on their own.

"Uh search party... right," she started, thinking over the situation. She was involved now and as an older student and prefect, she should really take charge. But she was flying and they were... walking. Did it matter? As long as she were to supervise them.

"Alright, here's the deal. I'm also part of the search party, but with the er - 'flying' side, obviously," the sixth year began. "But as you three look rather young, you shouldn't be wondering here by yourself. So I'm going to stay here with you and supervise you. We'll all search together, sound good?"

She then realized that she didn't know any of their names. Well, not really anyway. And she doubted they knew her, other than hearsay. "Oh right, and to get us off on the right foot. My name is Amelia. Amelia Rose. I'm the Hufflepuff Prefect."

[Chelliephone]

Delilah nodded and said "Ok to tell you the truth I'll feel better knowing theres another and older student with us." Delilah smiled gratefully at the older girl then looked back at Ellie hoping she wouldn't cause trouble for this older student. Delilah reached out to shake Amelia's hand, "I'm Delilah Parkingston, first year Hufflepuff."

She saw the girl reach up to shake her hand. Still hovering on her broomstick, she returned the gestured and reached down to shake Delilah's hand. "Nice to meet you. Ah yes, I've seen you around the common room a few times, but now I'll be able to bug you to do that homework," she said, with a wink and small nod.

Delilah laughed at the girls comment, then stared in awe at the broom. Her older sister had one but Delilah never was allowed to fly on it.

"Shouldn't we start looking for the kids?" Delilah asked senseing Emily was getting impatient to start moving and looking. But on the other hand Delilah was also.

"Well we can all look together, unless Ellie you have a problem being in my presence." Delilah said raising a eyebrow and sending a glance in the direction of the prefect.

Then Ellie heard another voice, this time a most nice and familiar one. She grinned at the Slytherin girl.
“Rosier!” Ellie blinked at her own words. “Don’t even ask why I call you that.. because I don’t know.”
She told to the girl.
“Rosier!?”
Ellie really needed to rest her head.
She shook her head while she smiled back at Emily. “Well, I’m here making my good action of the day.” She told her with a small laugh. “Helping in the search of the missing students. ”
She looked around.

It may have be her middle name, but it was almost like an insult “Bluebell.” she said a little coldly. “Please don’t call me that.” She looked at her feet, feeling a little awkward. Had Ems even told Ellie her middle name? Oh dear.

She looked back up at the mention of the missing kids. “Great.” She said a little more cheerfully before glancing at the prefect. “Amelia here is leading the party.... now.” Excellent fun… not.

Delilah noticed that Emily did not being called, umm, that must have been her middle name. Note to self never call Emily by her middle name

Ellie didn’t know she hated the name… or why.

"Yes, the search party... to find the missing students." Wasn't that why Ellie came out here? She'd obviously forgotten that brain of hers in the rush.

“So. How are you Bluebell?” she asked with a smile and changing the subject rather.

Her eyes flickered from Parkie to Ellie and back again. 'Just great,' This had better not end in an argument. They were here to find the poor missing students, NOT to bicker.

Delilah saw Emily roll her eyes and decided to try and get along for Emily, she seemed to be under a lot of pressure.

"You're right, I apoligize I started it this time" Delilah said eyeing Ellie noticing she was in a good mood.

Ellie nodded. “Great young Hufflepuff. Great.” She told her. “But there is no need to apologize.”

Emily rolled her eyes. “Greenwood is a lot better than… than, you know.” She replied. Her own middle name and she couldn’t bring herself to say it. Why the heck her mum and dad decided to name her after him was a complete mystery. “It’s alright.” Emily nodded. Ellie didn’t know she hated the name… or why.

“So. How are you Bluebell?” she asked with a smile and changing the subject rather.

That was weird, very weird. She really needed to have that chat with Emily in the dorms.

“I’m great.” She told her with a grin then looked around. “Well, I could be much better, since I’m in the forbidden forest, less that.. I’m great.”
She turned her eyes to Emily with a smile.
“How about you?”

Ellie almost laughed when she noticed Emily looking at her and to Delilah. "I'm here to make good actions." she told her. "Not to argue with Huffies, besides, I'm in a good mood."

"I agree with Ellie, we're here to help the missing students not argue. So are we ready? Oh, and hey didn't one of the students turn into a panda?" Delilah asked thinking she had heard something of that sort.

Emily nodded. “Yeah, you too.” she said, trying her best not to sound sarcastic. “Where were you heading?” Emily asked. They weren’t going to find anyone standing about exchanging pleasantries all day...

Her head turned at the sound of her name, in which her green eyes found the face of that ... Slytherin seeker! She gasped. Well, that girl knew her name now, but she still didn't really know hers. Unless... she heard someone say Bluebell? Strange first name; must be her last. Those slytherins like calling people by last names.

"Yes?" she said, raising an eyebrow at the small girl.


It took a bit but she listened to the bickering that was going on. That was one thing she didn't understand; what was it with people not getting along with Huffies? Bluebell and Emily weren't the first, that was for certain.

"Alright, enough with the bickering. We are all students here and the houses really don't matter, ok?" she told them, in a rather serious tone. "We're here because we want to find these missing students. If you don't want to help, then I advise you to head back to the castle now. But if you do want to help, then there will be no arguing ... wands at the ready at all times. No funny business. Understood?"

[Chelliephone]

"Understood" Delilah said smiling at Amelie but then quickly stopping so Emily and Ellie wouldn't think she was sucking up. Delilah turned to Ellie and held out her hand "truce" she asked, then with her glinting with mischeif she added "for now".

"Well, I was just going to fly overhead and see if I can spot anything that way," Amelia said, green eyes flickering around the forest. It was strange being on a broom while everyone else wasn't.




Her head turned at the sound of her name, in which her green eyes found the face of that ... Slytherin seeker! She gasped. Well, that girl knew her name now, but she still didn't really know hers. It took a bit but she listened to the bickering that was going on. That was one thing she didn't understand; what was it with people not getting along with Huffies? Bluebell and Emily weren't the first, that was for certain.

"Alright, enough with the bickering. We are all students here and the houses really don't matter, ok?" she told them, in a rather serious tone. "We're here because we want to find these missing students. If you don't want to help, then I advise you to head back to the castle now. She could hear a tiny voice in the back of mind that just rang a bell, Don't go into the forest without Fabian or I... without Fabian or I... The sixth year let out a loud gasp suddenly. "We have to leave the forest. All of us. Now."

Without even thinking, she grabbed hold of Josh's arm. "Hold on tight," she said, as she zoomed back out toward the lake.

Furious, Vindictus was flying with reckless abandon and almost collided with the kids who were trying to flee. "OH NO YOU DON'T," he shouted at all of the students who violated the search rules set forth by himself and Clark. "All of you need to land right this minute in the clearing." He pointed to a clearing on the outskirts of the forest. "I'll be waiting for each of you."

True to his word, he landed in the described area and dismounted his broom. He stood there with his arms crossed.

Landing quickly as she arrived abit further behind the others, Savannah dismounted her broom and hopped off, a pink jazz hat still gripped rather tightly in her right hand to keep from losing it on the way. She had found it stuck in a tree, on a path very close to here.

Taking a deep breath of the cold winter air, the fourth year brushed her dark bangs out of her eyes, grabbing her broomstick in the opposite hand and raced after the others. She hadn't needed to check for a name tag of sorts, to know who's hat it was but nonetheless she checked. On the inside, a small tag read 'Ariana Castior', clearly belonging to one of the missing Ravenclaws, one of her dear friends.

Savannah was relieved, to be back with the group, until Professor Vindictus warned them to stay close. She heard the rustling sound and glanced around. Doing as told, the hufflepuff stayed right along with them. She'd bring the hat up soon, for now it stayed in her hand.

Juno had been searching over by the lake when he had caught sight of Professor Vindictus' rather reckless flying over the Forbidden Forest. With a sharp backwards loop, he shot off after him thinking his Head of House might need some Prefect backup. Or maybe an exploding pellet at the least.

He shot over the forest and then saw that Vindictus was standing in the midsts of the clearing. With a woosh of air that rustled some of the leaves on the ground, came down out of the air. He jumped off his broom and landed on both feet with a rather surprisingly light thud.

"Professor- something wrong? I thought you might need some -" And he stopped talking. There was something moving in the trees.

"Stay right here," Vindictus whispered and walked over to the edge of the trees, almost one hundred feet away. He stood there and listened. The rustling sound appeared to be moving deeper into the forest. He returned to the students a few minutes later.

"Everyone - look for tracks, either human or animal that lead to the forest. Don't get closer than 50 feet of the forest and speak no louder than a whisper." He looked at them and nodded his head.

But he had to get a signal to Fabian. Lifting his wand, he shot red sparks into the sky.

Sana followed the other search members as per by the Professor's instruction. Ofcourse with silence. Usually she was not afraid of the forest and creatures. "Okay" she nodded and getting ready to find either the missing persons or any clues. She was so positive.

"Pro-," he squeaked slightly. "Pro-Pro- Professor!" he whispered loudly gripping his broom tighter around the handle. Oh Merlin's curly toenails...why the bloody hell did I come into the forest?

Although it didn't take Amelia long to spot the unfriendly 'shhh' from the Ravie Prefect, Juno. She gave him this look that clearly read, what? I haven't said anything.

Normally she would have gone back to investigating the tracks, but for some strange reason, she could not take her eyes of Juno. Perhaps it was his dual-colored eyes or the fact that he was prancing... or the fact that he just called for the Professor! Either way, she kept her eye on him for as long as possible to try and figure out what was up.

"OH NO YOU DON'T," he shouted at all of the students who violated the search rules set forth by himself and Clark. "All of you need to land right this minute in the clearing." He pointed to a clearing on the outskirts of the forest. "I'll be waiting for each of you."

True to his word, he landed in the described area and dismounted his broom. He stood there with his arms crossed.
Emily couldn’t believe it when Ellie left her… and so suddenly! Maybe it was the presence of one Mr Moonson that had done it. She knew the two didn’t get on too well... and the hufflepuff prefect wasn't helping matters - Ellie, it seemed, didn’t get on too well with many people.

She did not leave when Josh told her to. He was not the boss of Emily Greenwood. She merely folded her arms and glared at the boy. Since when was Ems 'always getting into trouble?' She was a model student and had never ever been in trouble... unlike him. Maybe if the boy had asked her nicely she may have gone… but probably not. Or if he’d used reverse psychology and told her to stay, she would definitely have left. And then, to make matters worse, he and the prefect flew off and left her! All alone in the Forbidden Forest! She rolled her eyes; this was just brilliant… not.

She jumped as she heard the angry voice of one Professor Vindictus not too far away. He could be scary when he wanted to be. This was all the Hufflepuff on a broom’s fault – if she’d just left the three girls be, and not draw attention to them with her hovering.. but no, she just had to interfere. Emily made her way over to the group and stood next to Ellie who had reappeared. Ems remained silent. Maybe the professor wouldn’t notice her if she kept her gob closed. It wasn’t as if she’d defied his orders on purpose, she just hadn’t heard them, being on foot, and well… lost, at the time… in the Forbidden Forrest. 'Gah!'

Priscella my owl and SnowChief - Excelsior's Owl were out there and and they were hooting at me when they got back to my dorm" Jason keeps on talking. Then they had me fly to follow them to near the Forbidden Forest and I saw animals there like a red fox, black cat. a weasel and a spider monkey. "Can I fly over the Forbidden Forest professors, please? Jason asked them.

Jessica heard Jason saying that the missing students could be in the forest, and hurried after him in that direction, hoping that she'd find some of them.

Hitachi found his way to the Forbidden forest hesitantly. He noticed Professor Pierce out and about, searching for students. He approached her and said, "Professor Pierce, I've that students were allowed to search for students with the guide of a professor. I believe that's you professor Pierce?" Hitachi surveyed the large forest, somehow blindly hoping he'd find a wondering student whom needed to be found.

Sana was flying down carefully not hitting any trees as her robes flies behind her. She was in the search group and just came back from the Broomshed after heard Professors instructions. She saw another Professor was there and monitoring everyone. She got near to her and asked, 'Hi professor, is there any tips for us?" But her eyes were searching around the place curiously.
Alex jumped as the kids called her, "Um... no, no tips right now kids." she said with a wary smile. Realizing she could not head back to the castle and leave these kids alone so close to the forest, she began poking around, looking for traces of any other animals.
"Stay right here," Vindictus whispered and walked over to the edge of the trees, almost one hundred feet away. He stood there and listened. The rustling sound appeared to be moving deeper into the forest. He returned to the students a few minutes later.

"Everyone - look for tracks, either human or animal that lead to the forest. Don't get closer than 50 feet of the forest and speak no louder than a whisper." He looked at them and nodded his head.

But he had to get a signal to Fabian. Lifting his wand, he shot red sparks into the sky.

Alex looked up as Max and Ari arrived a few minutes later. Walking over to Max she whispered, "I believe I saw some paw prints over by that tree." she pointed to where she had last seen the panda, "They looked like they were from a very large animal."

" Jessica, I am impressed with you" jason telsl her. "We still should wait for the professors" He tells her. Although being a Gryffindor and a Weasley. also being a Potter cousin, he wants to go flying by to the Forbidden Forest where he lives.

Delilah entered the forest and sent a small wave in the direction of Emily and Ellie then walked up to the professor. "Sir, Ma'am, I want to help find the students. tell me what to do and I'll do it." Delilah said her head held high waiting for whatever he had to give her.

A student had petrified it in the halls and I was bringing it out to the search party because I figured Arianna and Fabian would know what to do and it got away from me. Flicking her wand again, another patronus fox appeared and trotted off int he direction of the castle.

Jason flying now since no profeesors here now. Again more animals are seen by him by the Forbidden Forest. there is a squiirel and a wolf. " Heather, Professor Pierce and Professor Vindicuvus told us to say on the ground" Jason warns her. Jason comes off his broom.

Heather hovered a foot from the ground and jumped off her broom. She shivered and was a little scared,"So what type of animals are we looking for,"Heather said her voice half a pitch higher than normal. she blushed embarrased about admitting she was scared.

" No you are tough Heather and you have gone through a lot " Jason reassured her. "Well there are cats, Red Fox, a wolf, a spider monkey ,a panther, weasel and a squirrel to name a few." Jason tells Heather. Even though Heather looked scared, she is brave and doesn't ;ook scared Jason thinks to himself.

Sahrina walked into the forest and saw jason. "Hey, are you searching for the missing students?" she asked.

Heather smiled at her,"Yeah but I won't let him chase them because it might scare them. Plus if it really isn't one we could be walking into real danger."Jason's jacket began to slip off her shoulder but Heather ignored it still walking.

Jason puts the jacket back on Heather. "We will take care of us, the other students and the missing students he tells Heather. " I am glad you are part of the Wild Boars heather and he smiles at his friend.

This was all the Hufflepuff on a broom’s fault – if she’d just left the three girls be, and not draw attention to them with her hovering.. but no, she just had to interfere. Emily made her way over to the group and stood next to Ellie who had reappeared. Ems remained silent. Maybe the professor wouldn’t notice her if she kept her gob closed. It wasn’t as if she’d defied his orders on purpose, she just hadn’t heard them, being on foot, and well… lost, at the time… in the Forbidden Forrest. 'Gah!'

Alex said indignantly, "I was levitating it when it bumped into a rock and injured its leg, I took the spells off to fix its leg, heard something, glanced behind me and when I turned back it had run off! I was coming to find you and Fabian when you lot showed up." she finished gsturing to the students. "Of course I knew it was a student and I didnt stun it! A student had stunned it and came to my office for help." Alex glared at Max, "I was simply trying to do what I thought would help." she said quietly, she was somewhat hurt by her collegue's words.

Turning back to the students she said, "Come on everyone, you heard Professor Vindicus, back to the castle."

Alex said indignantly, "I was levitating it when it bumped into a rock and injured its leg, I took the spells off to fix its leg, heard something, glanced behind me and when I turned back it had run off! I was coming to find you and Fabian when you lot showed up." she finished gsturing to the students. "Of course I knew it was a student and I didnt stun it! A student had stunned it and came to my office for help." Alex glared at Max, "I was simply trying to do what I thought would help." she said quietly, she was somewhat hurt by her collegue's words.

Turning back to the students she said, "Come on everyone, you heard Professor Vindicus, back to the castle."

Max pulled Alex to one side. "Sorry, Alex. After we get the kids back to the Castle can you tell us what you heard?" he whispered into her ear so that no one except his colleage could hear him. "Perhaps we can search for the source of that sound without these kids getting in the way." He patted her on the shoulder affectionately and smiled as he moved away from her.

Heather walked back up to the castle. She sighed and stretched out her body.

Emily heard the noises coming from within the forest and shivered nervously. She looked over at Josh, and Ellie who was busy sneezing away silently as the professors told them to go back to the castle. She gave a nod. “Right. You heard them. Lets go.” And with that, left for the castle. Josh, it seemed, was not the only one who could tell people what to do.

Another loud rustling noise came from the forest and Vindictus could hear hoof beats. "Gulping gargoyles! Everyone back to the Castle - the centaurs are a wee bit over protective of their turf."

Amelia was busy fawning over the tracks in the snow and trying to get glimpses of what she could hear between Josh and Lyra. Smirking slightly to herself, she couldn't believe the riff she had started by one simple act of feeding him a cookie. Talk about defensive.

Still grazing over the prints and trying to find more clues, she complete spaced out over everything else that was going on. Until she heard the hoof beats and.. Vindictus. Telling them to all go back to the castle. She frowned; she was here to help. Not a child anymore and certainly capable of helping the Professors. But regardless, she knew that as prefect she needed to set the good example and do as she was told.

Turning around to head back to the castle, she paused a moment and walked back to the Professors. "Professor Vindictus... Pierce. If you need any assistance, just uh, contact me. Okay?" she told them, unsure if they would or not.

Josh heard not only max yelping at the children, but pierce. He thought he had seen a teacher come into the forest. Josh smiled a little as he moved out of the forest and back to the castle as commanded.

Rhiannon heard the hoofbeats as well as the professors could, and was all too willing to at least appear like she was going to follow thier orders. Walking quickly, she headed toward the castle, with her wand out and occasionally turning her head to look back at the forest. She was curious on if any centaurs were actually going to show up.

Melinda couldn't hold it, she got up from her chair and went down to the Forbidden Forest. There she found a first year from Hufflepuff who had tripped and suddenly, a move around her. She ran to see if she was okay. "Hey, are you alright..." Melinda asked.

" I have Excelsior's Owl Snow Cheif here with me as well as my owl Priscella with me here, " hoot, hoot" the owls hoot at Chris and Melinda.

Behind him, the rustling noises grew louder in the forest....

Delilah turned around frightened at the teachers appearence and voice. Then she became even more frightened when she heard rustling coming from the trees.

"Umm...alright, Professor..." Melinda said, and quickly walked out of the forest. She felt scared about the grumping noise the yell did, but also turned around and heard the noise inside the forest. I would like to know what's going on...She thought. But she knew the teacher was going to get them into detention if they didn't get out of there.

"I've been pondering why the Headmistress was keeping Pandas in the forest" he explained, more to himself, "now I know why.. i was looking for struggled tracks.. or injured animals.. signs" he explained but closed his eyes with a groan.

Alex nodded, "Could it maybe be... a charm that draws animal?" she sugested with a thoughtful look.

"I doubt a spell can take control over a student, the only successful way to control an animal is to actually imperius it, and thats one of the unforgivables" he gasped as his eyes grew, "the devil it is. If it has been used, that person is looking for some quality time in Azkaban! Its too dangerous for students to linger out in the grounds.." he glanced around to see some students still soliciting.


"Everyone, back to the castle!" he bellowed

Ariana remembered the panda. The panda had actually been one of the last children she had seen before the disappearance. "I like the idea of a curfew. The students need to understand that we're just concerned for them and we want their friends safe as well. Fabian is right though. No telling what sort of rebellion the kids will come up with. If a curfew is enforced, we're going to have to be on the look out for false distractions to catch our attention while they are being sneaky."

She gave Alex a grin. Ari hadn't really had much of a chance to talk to her since Eddie's impromptu birthday party.

"That's simple enough," Forrester added on to Arianna, "We close down the common rooms at curfew. Any students found outside afterwards get to spend the night in the dungeons, and they can start their detention bright and early the next morning."

I have plenty of things that would keep them busy." She ran a hospital. There was always something to be cleaned or brewed.

It was very early in the morning and there was a fresh layer of fog around Laylee as she sat several feet away from the Forbbiden Forest. She had heard about all that had happened the night before and it terrified her, but also made her want to find them. She knew of course that she could not venture into the Forbidden Forest so she sat, quite still, on the slightly damp grass, staring into the dark mysterious Forest.
She had heard some thoeries, like Imperius curses and such, but Laylee was thinking logically. They were animals! Of course they would be drawn to a dense forest with all the food they would normally eat in their natural habitat. Of course, Laylee didnt have any answers at all, but still.
She was still uncertian with Professor Pierce... Why would she have done something so odd? Shouldnt she have just taken the poor Panda straight to the nurse or the Headmistress? Why would she bring her straight to the place that an animal could escape? Was that somehow her plan?
Laylee didnt have answers to any of those questions! She still wasnt sure if believing the thoery of the Professor being behind all this was true, but there was something very suspicious about her, tying her into the mess of missing students somehow.
Laylee had already walked across the egde of the forrest, spotting something far ahead in the trees that looked like dried blood... she guessed that it was from when the Professor had injured the animals leg. But Laylee didnt venture in to investigate further.
So now Laylee simply sat there, much to confused with questions to move and knew that it was far to early to have anything better to do...

Jason walked to the Forbidden Forest with Snow Cheif and Priscella , Excelsior's and Jason owls. he wrote notes and put them on their talons. They flew into Forbidden Forest looking for Excelsior, Monica and the rest of students. Jason walked back to the castle.

It was very early in the morning and there was a fresh layer of fog around Laylee as she sat several feet away from the Forbbiden Forest. She had heard about all that had happened the night before and it terrified her, but also made her want to find them. She knew of course that she could not venture into the Forbidden Forest so she sat, quite still, on the slightly damp grass, staring into the dark mysterious Forest.

Phoebe came around the edge of the Forest and spotted Laylee sitting amidst the fog. She walked up to her and sat down next to her. "Boo," she said quietly. "You're thinking...." she said, studying Laylee's face. "What's up?"

"Woa!" Laylee said, a little shocked to see someone else out here. But when she realized who it was she smiled brightly.
"What are you doing up so early?" She asked, forgetting to answer Phoebe's question.
