Headmistress Rae has made her speech!
"Go back to Orchid, then," Cassandra laughed, shooing the little cat. She nodded at the Ravenclaw girl who greeted her. "Good evening to you, my dear. I hope you're enjoying the feast."

With a heavy sigh, she pushed Vivi on poor Doyle and stood to clap her hands. "It's now or never. Students! Good evening, and welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. My name is Headmistress Cassandra Rae-Branxton, and I'm pleased to greet you on this lovely night."

She gave a smile to the room at large. "I'd like to point out our new Groundskeeper, and to welcome back all the former professors. I'd also like to thank you for your remarkable decorum during this feast. I know there's a temptation to act like animals instead of proper witches and wizards, but you've done a lovely job."

"At this time, you may finish eating, and we will be leaving for our dormitories soon enough. Remember that classes begin soon, so you'll want to be well rested and ready to soak up knowledge. And now... let's eat!"
Short speech, I notice. And no . . . enigmatic introductions or hints, either . . . Hmmm . . .

Ravenclaw Prefect Juno Novak got a signature on a liiiittle slip of paper the other day in the Ravenclaw Common Room. Whose signature? Why the Head of Houses'!! Being the glory hog he is, Prof. Vindictus happily signed his "autograph" on this slip of paper- a permission slip to get into the Restricted Section of the Library.

Animals, animals! Everywhere! Hmm. Noticed a few changes in usernames around the place? :shifty:

Slytherin Prefect, Cassandra Trelawney asked the Charms Professor, Professor Doyle Branxton at the feast if he could help her with her memory charm. She was in the Charms Office with Branxton when she accedentally obliviates him.

So now he's lost all knowledge of being at Hogwarts and thinks he's at the ministry. Trelawney panics, he's not just any professor, he's the Headmistress's husband... and the deputy headmaster! In an attempt to bring him to the Hospital Wing, they run into the Divination Professor, Natasha Blaylock, and the History of Magic Professor, Anjelica Lainey in the third floor corridor.

Not really understanding what has happened to him, and Trelawney not really coming clean with the facts, Lainey instructs the prefect to take him to a healer! Branxton instead, not feeling like he needs a sitter, decides to to leave Hogwarts to go to the ministry to figure stuff out. He steps out of school grounds to disapparate, but not before Cassandra, in an attempt to keep him from harming himself, grabs onto his arm and he apparates the both of them off Hogwarts grounds and into the MINISTRY ATRIUM!

They make their way to the third floor, Magical Accident's and Catastrophes, and there they encounter Clara Belle, who is not ONLY the Minister's future Bride to be, but also the Daily Prophet Editor. Attempting to keep the woman off the scent of a story, Trelawney makes up another story, which now makes Branxton believe she's lying and up to something as her story keeps changing.

He is getting ready to bring her to the Second floor (Magical Law Enforcement) to have the prefect arrested when an employee of the Magical Accident's and Catastrophes, Lance Finbal, shows up followed by the department head, Madeline Grau.

Trelawney finally comes clean, admitting to having hit Branxton with a memory charm, and all would have been well, had Clara Belle not been there. She began writing down notes for an article she would write for the Prophet when an Obliviator, Jason Killin, bumped into Belle, and made her angry.

The Minister of Magic, Brennan Cooper (or BrenBren as Clara calls him) was informed that Branxton was in the building and had requested for his Senior UnderSecretary, Reagan Taylor, retrieve him personally.

I see trel I saw you and the professer yesterday I was about to step into it as Dan but I stayed away. Well the plot is thickning Monica Black and her brotheR are muttating what is going on.

they shake it off as a bug and plan something with Barry weasly and Ray Hufflepuff but before the plan is put into action it grows and Monica and her brother rush off to the hospital wing. The Nurse takes too long and while there Adam the professer has the same problem.

Monica Black runs to the lake and tells Josh Moonstone something before the transform is complete and then becomes a cat and runs away into the forest and her brother becomes a fox. Now no one knows where they are my charecter Barry Weasly is on the look out for any news about this and everey time he sees a coson he asks about what is going on.

Before Cassandra's conundrums, all the prefects and the quidditch captains had a meeting in the Prefect's lounge to discuss the fact that some kids have changed into animals and that Hufflepuff Prefect Amelia heard Dresden roaring behind closed doors.

Not much really came of the rather unpleasant meeting but the prefects and captains have divided up the staff to discuss the transformations with.

Later that same evening, Juno Novak went down to the garden while Sho Inagaki stalked followed him. The two ran into Professor Vindictus who was searching for Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain Tagren Sevens. Professor Vindctus charged Juno and Sho with finding the missing captain.

What could the Ravenclaw Head of House want with his house Captain?

After Josh Moonson is transfigured into a capybera during Transfiguration class, Rhiannon Todd runs after him. Hearing about the student transformations, she tells him, Lyra Noir, and Mallory Moonstone about hearing the roar from Dresden's office, Professor Pierce's involvement. and her suspicions about the professors.

Josh questions Professor Pierce about Dresden, and notices a stash of candy in the Transfiguration professor's office. She acts strange and won't let him have any of it. Finally, she kicks him out of her office.

Does the new Transfiguration professor have anything to do with the student transformations? And what's with the candy in her office?

Rhiannon Todd and Josh Moonson discussed what they currently knew about the student transformations in the seventh floor corridor after she gave a sketch he had asked her to make to him. They have now taken it upon themselves to try and find out anything they can.

What will the Slytherin and the Ravenclaw discover? Will they end up as targets of whomever is doing these mysterious things?

Prior to the first official Quidditch match of the term, Professors Vindictus and Clark along with the beautiful Nurse Numel met in the CoMC professor's office. They came up with a plan to search the school and decided to do this after the game.

After the Slytherin victory over Hufflepuff, Professor Vindictus spoke to the players and asked them to come to the Broomshed because he needs fliers. He then took his plea to the stands:

"I wanted to thank all of you for attending today's match despite our snowy conditions," he grinned. "However, I need to ask all of you for some help. You may have noticed that some of your friends and schoolmates have disappeared. There are a few of us here at the school who have decided to go looking for them. If you're interested in helping, please come to the Broomshed within the hour - hot food, hot cocoa and a warm fireplace will be waiting for you. If you decide not to help, then it's your choice - I'm not forcing any of you to do this. But if you do want to help, bring a friend and wear warm clothes so you don't freeze in the snow. I hope to see many of you in the Broomshed."

Ravenclaw Prefect Juno Novak has Kidnapped forced talked fellow Ravenclaw Sho Inagaki into helping him with his latest project.

Said project was identified as a "goodbye gift" but the recipient has yet to be revealed.

Gryffindor Firstie Aiden Everett wandered into the boys' bathroom on the 6th floor where the two Ravenclaws are working and now is sporting a bubble gum pink hair - but for how long?

The search for the missing students has begun. Those who are flying, are taking directions from Professors Clark and Vindictus. Those who are searching by foot are under the lead of Professor Forrester.

At the moment, ground and air search parties are at the Lake.

Charlie's Angels? Here in Hogwarts? It's true! Three daring girls have finally begun to stalk follow Professor Pierce about. Cora-Blue Latiffa, Gwen Minton and Emma Cobblesten were examining a panda on the First Floor Corridor, when the Professor came along and levitated the student/panda away. Hmmm...??

Alex took a deep breath and tried to think of what to do with the bear she now had to... take care of. Wasnt there a search party out on the grounds? "Ok, I'm taking the bear out to the search... party... thingy." Alex said trailing off as she glanced at all the students, "I want you all to return to your common rooms, I dont want anyone around me if the bear somehow gets away from me and attacks someone. And that is an order, anyone I fiond following me will lose house points and maybe get a detention." she said sternly. Flicking her wands she levitated the bear in front of her, "I'm serious." she added giving the students a look that completly backed up her statement. Turning back aruond she headed out on to the grounds, bear floating in front of her.

Gwen watched Professor Pierce go, utterly bewildered. She glanced sidelong at the others with her.

"Why in the world would she take the bear to the search party?" she muttered. "Oughtn't she take it straight to the hospital wing?"

Cora raised her eyebrows as Professor Pierce hurried off with Eva the panda. She scowled and went to follow, when she caught the last of the Professor's words. Loss of house points. Noooo way.

"Exactly!" Cora exclaimed, as Gwen mentioned the Hospital Wing. "Strange..." She had an inkling that the Professor wasn't going to the search party at all...

Gwen's brow furrowed. "D'you think she even told Numel? It's not like we knew where her Patronus was going....And what if we were going to the search party? We wouldn't technically be following her, would we?"

Cora grinned, and suddenly hugged both girls. They were BRILLIANT. Young, cute and determined. Just what she liked to see. It was taking everything in her not to pinch their cheeks and squeel.

"Right then. We follow her, and if she accuses us of following her, we say we were going to the search party. I'm Cora-Blue Latiffa, by the way. But just call me Cora." She beamed.

"We should split up," Emma suggested. "There are three of us, so we can cover a lot of ground. One of us should go find the actual search party and tell them what we saw, and see if she is actually there, which I doubt. Someone can go wait at her office for her to come back, and someone else can go check around the castle, like at the hospital wing and the headmistress' office." she said. "That's just one idea," she added with a small blush. She didn't like being put on the spotlight.

Gwen cleared her throat, looking sheepish.

"I can go check on Numel," she said. "I think someone ought to see if she actually contacted her." Raising her eyebrows, she added, "Slytherin can afford to lose points." She grinned. "I'm Gwen, by the way."

"That sounds like a good idea," Emma agreed with a nodd. "Maybe you should contact the Headmistress too if it turns out she didn't contact her...she should know what's going on and that one of her employees is a liar," she grumbled.

"I don't know where the search party is, so I'll go wait by her office...if that's ok."

Cora grinned at what Gwen said. "Great! So you're going to Pierce's office, Gwen; you're going to Numel and I'll go to the search party."

Headmistress Rae stepped out the front doors and paused there, looking down at the grounds. She turned and pointed her wand at her throat. "Sonorus", she muttered, and her voice became loud and booming, easy to hear all over Hogwarts.

"Attention students! If any strange animals are found in the castle, please bring them immediately to the grounds. This is your Headmistress speaking."

Looks like the rest of the school has some work to do.

I'm proud of all the Slytherins this term.

We won the Quidditch Cup, the Gobstone Championship, and the House Cup. Not a small feat. 3811 points (1380 over Ravenclaw in 2nd place) Also, three of the top five hogwarts students are Slytherin.
