Hufflepuff Locker Room & Practice Pitch

Welcome to the Hufflepuff Locker room. Along the wall you see lockers to store your school robes during practice or matches. You see loads of magical pictures displaying past Hufflepuff players. There is one of Zacharias Smith on his broom flying high over the Quidditch Stadium. Another one shows Summerby dodging a bludger. Cedric Diggory is shown holding a snitch he caught to seal a Hufflepuff victory over Gryffindor. You can see Terry Weasley performing a outstanding save to keep a Hufflepuff lead. The Quidditch Cup sits gleaming over the mantle with a picture of the championship team from the last two seasons. A picture of Evy Abagnale, a former captain is displayed with all Hufflepuff captains from the past years.

Hufflepuff colors of black and gold are everywhere. Quidditch equipment and robes are here for the new team to wear and use. There is a entrance to the pitch too.

Come in, take a seat, and tune up your broomstick before heading out to practice or a game.

The locker room and practice pitch is the place where Hufflepuff Captain, Evan Cassels, will hold practices and post announcements. It is not a place for you to RP, unless your captain says that it's okay to RP getting ready for a game or when a game is over.

Only those who are on the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team roster are permitted to post in this thread. The only exception to this rule are substitutes approved by the Quidditch Official. House prefects and school staff may also post in this thread when needed.

Evan strode across the pitch and joined the group of players who were standing next to the equipment box. "Ok guys. Practice will start in five minutes so make sure to stretch before mounting your broom. Wouldn't want you to get hurt before the game." He rolled his eyes as he bent down to open the trunk, then grabbed a Quaffle and held it in front of him. "Alright. Now today's practice'll be fairly simple, as we're only going to be doing shoot-outs. No keeper." He heard someone snickering at the back of the group. "Think that's too easy? We'll see how you do out there on the pitch." The tall seventh-year snorted before sitting down on the grass and impatiently waiting for the players to get ready.

He got off his broom and carefully placed the Quaffle back in the equipment box, making sure it was locked adequately. "Very well done guys! Honestly, I'm satistified with your abilities and I'm confident we'll win our first game against the snakes. Now get some sleep, and keep your noses clean! If you get a detention this week, I'll make sure you never touch a broom again...!" Evan smirked at the players, who were still standing around him, but suddenly pinched his nose and yelled: "Merlin, you guys smell horrible! Practice is over! GO AWAY!"

As he hurried towards the castle, he turned around and shouted: "Next practice is on Tuesday. BE THERE!"

He blew his whistle twice, which was the signal that the practice was over. "Good job everyone. I suggest you practice on your own every night until the game to stay in shape. The Slythies will be a tough team to beat, there's no doubt about that, but I'm confident we can do it if we put our minds to it. I'll see you on Friday then. I want all of you to show up in the locker room at least half an hour before the start of the session to go over our strategy and share some tips." He nodded in their direction, then he turned on his heels and started to walk towards the castle.

Amelia flew down toward the ground at the sound of Evan's whistle. She landed firmly and listened to what he had to say about arriving early, and then ventured off to the locker rooms to grab her belongings. All she could think about now was how badly she smelled, and how much she wanted to beat those Slythies this weekend.

She nodded back at Evan and said, "See you around then." And then briskly walked towards the castle.

)Evan entered the locker room for the third time this week and avidly searched the small room for his teammates. What are they doing? he thought, worried at the idea that they might not show up. I opened each and every one of the lockers, as if hoping one of the beaters would jump right out of it, then bent down and looked under the bench. No luck.

Exasperated, he sat down on the wooden bench and waited anxiously for the players to arrive as he kept looking at the note he had just pinned to the board:

Amelia ran down to the locker room as fast as her legs would carry her, with her quidditch bag over one shoulder and her broomstick in the opposing hand. She was exhilarated for today's game, and had a wonderful feeling about it. As she had just come from the library, doing as much work as possible in the little free time she had these days, she hoped she wouldn't be the last to arrive.

She entered the locker room, slightly winded and noticed only Evan was there. She breathed a sigh of relief, and sat down on the bench. "Whew, I made it. So Mister Captain, what position today?"

Molly bolted into the locker room. She thought she was going to be late, but realized that she made it just in time. After a quick glance around the room, she headed over to her locker and changed into her robes.

Rapunzel strolled into the locker room behind Amelia with butterflies in her stomach. She nervoudly pulled on her Quidditch robes and took a seat on the bench. She smiled at Evan, who looked a little pale.

"Don't worry cap'n," she said. "We'll smash those snakes!"

Jack ran into the locker room and nearly crashed straight into his captain. "Woah sorry, dude." He said, panting slightly and dumping his stuff on the bench.

He was very nervous and this was his first game. He changed silently and hoped that he didn't mess up for his teammates.

Evan had gone over what she had to do way too many times for her not to know his exact words, so she only did what she recalled in her memory. Sam walked into the locker room and offered a smile to everyone in the room. Clicking his neck, Sam walked to his locker and pulled on his robes trying not to be nervous. Amanda quickly changed out of her Quidditch uniform, into her normal clothes. She was wearing a smile ear to ear. She untied her hair and walked out of the Locker Room. As she passed each member of her fellow team, she said, "We did it! You did an excellent job!"

Evan walked into the locker room and pinned a large note on the notice board. He hadn't had a chance to talk to his teammates after the second half of the game against the Snakes, which he had missed due to a serious back injury, and wanted them to know how happy he was with their performance.

You all played very well in the game against Slytherin, and I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished so far. Well done! To those of you who got chosen to play on the Hogwarts All-Stars Team, I have no doubt you will represent our house to the best of your ability and that you will have tons of fun playing with students from the other houses.

Evan walked in and immediately sat on the bench, staring anxiously at the door of the locker room. He knew some of the players suffered injuries and couldn't play tonight, so now all he could do was cross his fingers and hope that those who said they could make it would show up as planned.

Silvie quickly walked into the locker room staring down at her hands. She was very excited but still very nervous for tonight's game. She noticed her captain sitting on a bench looking a little worried, "Don't worry Evan! I'm sure everything will go just fine today! Will kick some Eagle butt!" she said with a smile. Then she walked straight to her locker and changed into her quidditch robes. Finally she put her long black hair back in a pony tail and tied her lucky red ribbon her brother had given her around it.
She then paced around, waiting for the rest of her teammates to arrive, not being able to sit still.

Amelia strode into the locker room for her last match of the season. She was a bit disappointed when she read the roster to find she'd be playing beater today, but at the same time, it's a great way to get all her stress out. Amelia was not one to mess with during finals time, and those eagles would be lucky if they came out alive after the match.

She slipped into her yellow quidditch robes, and grabbed her broomstick and beater bat, which was a hand-me-down from her older brother that had graduated.

Rapunzel was ready. This was it. The final. The last Quidditch game of the year.

Caitlin pranced into the locker room. She was excited to play Chaser again, a spot she hadn't been on since her rookie days of being on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. It would be a nice break from the high-stress moments of being a Seeker, no matter how fun they were.

She danced around, slipping on her robes and sin ging to herself. This was the game ... the champoinship game. They were ready.

On that note, she threw her lucky broomstick over her shoulder and headed out of the locker room. It was now or never.
