Smoke gently piles out of the small chimney of the small bricked den. A couple of rabbits hop here and there and a fence blocks off the back garden of the hut from the rest of the grounds. There were just some places students shouldn't be. A lovely variety of flowers blossomed around the hut which just gave it that extra homely feeling.

A man who is of a reasonable height with firey red hair lives within the hut. He had taken over from the previous groundskeepers and made the hut his home already. His door is always open for visitors and he has many stories he would love to tell you about his time at Hogwarts and his life after his school years.

Erin had been wandering around the grounds, alone, for most of the afternoon. She was bored, but the girl didn't know what to do. She couldn't find anyone to talk to. Anyone interesting, that is.

The Gryffindor spotted the Groundskeeper's home and decided to go on over. From what she'd heard, he was a nice man. Erin hoped that was true. After bouncing up the few steps to the door, Erin knocked.

This would be good for her. Erin was a sixth year, and she hardly knew any of the staff. Honestly, she found them a bit intimidating. Maybe even frightening. Erin put a smile on her face; she'd have to get over the little fear.

Trent woke up with a start when a knock on the door happened. It was a nice nap, but it was really time he was awake. He walked over to the door and opened it to his first visitor of the term, "Hi there, how can I help you Miss...?"

Ameer walked around the grounds with his hands in his pockets, whistling tunelessly. He had nothing much to do and he remembered the groundskeeper Trent Hirty, who lived around here. He walked up to the hut and saw him talking to another girl. He walked up to the groundskeeper and said "Hello Mr.Hirty. Do you mind if I come in?" he asked politely.

Erin had been about to turn around and leave when the door finally opened. Taking in the wrinkles on the groundkeeper's robes and the slightly dazed expression on his face, Erin was quite sure she'd woken him up from a nap. Ooops, she thought.

Smiling slightly, Erin began to talk. "Umm... help me?" she asked. Erin had forgotten that she was the one who'd knocked on his door. It was only natural for him to expect that she was there for a reason.
"Ohhh," she said, now understanding the question. Erin smiled slightly. "I don't need anything. Just came to say hello."

The boy seemed rather polite, so Erin decided to let him off. This time. "Who are you?" she asked, her tone not overly friendly.

Trent fluttered his eyes for a moment as if he had gone blind for a second and was trying to regain his sight. He gave a loud yawn and beckoned the two students inside, "Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water?" Trent asked kindly.

Erin couldn't help but grin as the man yawned. It was loud and funny-sounding. When he offered her, as well as the suspcious boy, something to drink, Erin considered each option. The hot chocolate sounded good, but it was a bit too hot for that.

"Water, please," Erin said, stepping inside.

An owl swooped in and dropped a piece of parchment on the Professor's desk. Written on it in a loopy handwriting are the following words:

You are invited to a special
Tarot Reading Party
to be held at the North Tower
on Friday Evening.

- Natasha Blaylock

P.S. Come with an open mind!

"Uh Ameer Krump. I'm a 5th year here." Ameer replied, nonplussed. He then turned to Mr. Hirty and said "Water for me too please Mr. Hirty"

Trent waved his wand and three waters appeared before them on the table. An owl swooped into his hut and landed a letter on his lap, "Oh, wonder what it could be." He opened it and smiled. Blaylock give a tarot reading? this should be fun. " So what subjects are you both taking this year?" he asked, pocketing the letter.

Ameer picked up the glass of water and took a sip. "I'm taking Muggle-Studies, Transfiguration, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures and Potions." he answered "And the homework just keeps piling up."

Erin nodded at Ameer but didn't respond with her own name and year. He didn't ask, or even seem relatively interested, so Erin decided to keep her mouth shut.

Erin took a seat in one of the chair beside the table as her water appeared. "Thank you," she said politely before taking a sip. The water was cool and refreshing. Erin took another drink before setting the glass on the table again.

"I'll definately be taking Muggle Studies, Astronomy, Transfiguration, Charms, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. And I haven't decided about Potions, Arithmancy, or Care of Magical Creatures. I don't want to have too much on my plate," she explained.

"Nice variety of subjects you both have there," Trent assured them. "Do you both know what you want to aim towards becoming when you eventually leave this school?" he asked curiously to the two students.

Erin really didn't mean to snort when Mr. Hirty asked the next question. But she did. For some people, the question would seem rather logical, not something to snort about at all. But it was different for Erin.

She never decided anything in advance; she never had a future plan in mind when she did something. Erin was much too spontaneous sometimes. "Erm... no," she finally said. Erin assued her snort got the point across that she didn't have any idea in the slightest what she wanted to do, but the thought it would be polite to answer with an actual word.

She scratched her nose. Erin didn't know what else she was supposed to say. Instead, she looked over to the boy, Ameer, obviously waiting for him to respond.

Ameer heard Erins response and sensed that she needed someone to say something. "I don't really know what I want to do either. I guess I haven't found my calling yet." Ameer replied. "So Mr. Hirty, how many years have you worked at Hogwarts?"

"Oh dear, well if you need any help in picking careers I am more than happy to help, as will your Head of Houses," He smiled kindly. "This shall be my second year working at Hogwarts. I used to own a hotel in Glasgow before coming here to settle down a bit more," Trent waved his wand and refilled their now emptyinh cups with more water.

"Oh thanks. But I suppose my career will depend on my O.W.L results." Ameer replied, taking a gulp of water "Glascow is such a nice place isn't it? Did you own a hotel for muggles or wizards?"

Leeness
07-10-2007, 08:52 PM
"Yes, it is so gorgeous. The architecture and the castles... it is wonderful," Trent said dreamily thinking back to his times working there. "Well, it was a hotel for both muggles and wizards - we had special rooms for wizards that allowed them to do magic in privacy and that their room maids were witches or wizards as well."

"I needed some rest from the busy life of owning a hotel. It isn't as easy as it seems," Trent chuckled. "So, looking after the grounds of Hogwarts is a piece of cake, especially since there is two groundskeepers working on it."

"Oh I'm sure it was very hectic. And Hogwarts is so relaxing." Ameer answered, twirling his finger around the glass of water "Mr. Hirty, why is the forbidden forest forbidden?". Ameer felt that he had asked a silly question but he had heard many rumors of what there was in the forest and he just had to confirm that.

Leeness
07-12-2007, 01:10 PM
"Well, it is forbidden because of what lies inside the forest. You see there is a wide variety of magical and dangerous creatures and some do receide in our very own forest," Trent explained. "Maybe you should ask Professor Maline what sort of creatures you can find in the forest."

07-12-2007, 02:08 PM
Erin snapped out of her daze. She was still listening to the conversation, but she hadn't really been taking in anything that was said. She looked from Trent to Ameer, wondering if her silence had been noticed. She didn't thinkk so.

She heard Forbidden Forest and nodded, as if she'd been listening the entire time. Erin took another sip out of her water glass.

Erin looked up from her water when she heard her name. She was being addressed. "Um, huh?" she said, without even thinking about what she was asked.

"I mean, yes." Erin had heard the question, she was just so surprised that Ameer was asking her something that she wasn't thinking properly. "Centuars are very, er, interesting," Erin added. She was still slightly flabbergasted.

Trent smiled at the boys enthusiasm. "Well I think I have taken up your time for far too long. Surely you have some studying to do." Trent got to his feet and cleared away the glasses with a wave of his wand, he should the students to the door, "Please, do visit anytime." He returned to his chair and began to read his latest book on Muggle warfare.

Eliza was unsure if she should annoy Trent with her random calls in and irritating thoughts and crazy voices but she thought she still deserved Trent an explaination for what happened last term. With all those fussy mind-tricks and crazy voices going on and him having ot go and tell the Headmistress she was going crazy. That had really ticked her off. Big time. But she put that behind now and hobbled over to Trent Hirty's hut.

Not wanting to seem rude but wanting to make sure she wasn't interupting anything, she peered through the nearest window. Clinging to the windowsill as she was looking in, her feet were hovering just above the ground. She could barely see so she puleld herself up further just to make sure. Once fully sure that Trent wasn't doing anything important, she went to walk over to the door but found that she could not feel the ground under her feet. squealing in fright, she gripped the windowsill for dear life. If she fell, she'd hurt her foot even more than it already was and if she stayed like this, people would think she was stalking Trent.
Only one thing to do.

"HHHHHHEEEEEELLLLPPP!"

"Ok Mr. Hirty. Its been a real pleasure talking to you" Said Ameer, getting up from his chair. He had barely gotten up when he heard someone shout 'HHHHHHEEEEEELLLLPPP!'. Running outside the hut, he saw a girl clinging to the windowsill. He went and helped her down. "What are you doing?" he asked her, puzzled.

Trent rushed after Ameer and saw that it was Eliza. Trent was sort of... uneasy about it being her that turned up. Was this another one of her crazy spells? "What's up Eliza?" Trent enquired her whilst Ameer helped her down.

Eliza was relieved when a boy came and helped her down "Thank you." she looked at Trent and the boy and smiled weakly "I was checking to see if Trent was in but I kindof pulled myself up to the window a bit to high." she bit her lip "And I was not going to jump and hurt my leg again!" she felt quite stupid on doing such but she never really liked to knock on the doors if she didn't know the person was in. She looked at Trent and smiled slightly "I had came to talk to you about something. Apologise about last term." she muttered quietly.

Eliza looked at Trent and sighed, her finger messing with stray pieces of hair which were falling in front of her face. "Well, last term I was hearing those voices. And you had to sort it out. Well, I'm sorry for acting so---Insanely." she sighed and turned to look Trent straight in the eyes. She needed to know and Trent was the one she wanted to hear it from. "Trent, do you think I'm crazy?" she questioned. "Be honest. I just need to hear it from someone who I trust." she frowned Someone other than my family.

Trent listened as the girl talked and as she talked the conversation seemed to be getting more and more unbelievable. He wasn't sure whether or not she was being serious, in fact, Trent would have rathered she was telling him she was hearing voices again. He didn't like being put in such positions when the answer to the question wasn't completely obvious. "Eliza, please tell me what the voices were saying and who was it the voice of? Anyone you recognise? and have you had them ever since our little incident?"

07-13-2007, 05:56 PM
Eliza frowned, Trent did seem to want ot answer. He seemed ot wnat to know why she was asking. As he began to hand out questions to her, she frowned. "They mainly tell me that I'd be better off killing everyone than hiding from them all. To Quench my thirst for Blood. To please my parents." she sighed sadly "I'm unsure of whom it is. It use to sound like my father but it couldn't be. Could it?" she folded her arms and looked off into were the forbidden forest was. Wondering if the Thestrals were okay in there. She would try to sneak in and give them some meat later, such sweet animals they were. "Only a few times. Especially when I was in the Dungeons during the Holiday." She told him in a rather far-off voice. She rubbed her arm lightly, not wanting to think about the Dungeons. That hadn't been the nicest Break at all. And she had suppose to have spent it with Elijah but that hadn't turned out as she had planned.

Leeness
07-13-2007, 07:38 PM
Dungeons? Trent didn't want to ask why she was in dungeons for her holidays. "Well, you never know Eliza. We are a magical community so it is entirely possible these voices are real and not a hallucination. But I stand by what I said the term previous, you would be better seeing someone at St Mungos. Or try and learn Occlumency."

07-14-2007, 12:07 PM
Eliza smiled slightly "So, you think I'm not going crazy?" she looked at Trent and smiled "I hate using Occlumency. It's very hard to do. And it gives me a headache. I don't wanna go to St. Mungos. I've heard that--" she frowned and bit her lip. "Ri--Ringo is there." she hated saying his name, it made her see his half-elf face in her mnid and it crept her out. "I have figured out a way to stop the voices momentarily. My aunt made me some of that potion from last year and has hidden it in some herbal tea so no one will know. I can only take one cup a day but its hard to drink tea around here. People think your a nutter." she smirked.

Leeness
07-14-2007, 01:27 PM
Trent smiled, "Well only you will know if your crazy. You are the only one who can tell if its appearance or reality since you are the only one that can hear the voices." He nodded at the word of a potion helping her out, "Well thats good, if you run out im sure Mr Dresden would have no problem in brewing you some more if you think thats what is helping it out. If you need further help on the matter then please come and see me but right now I need to go start a picnic, care to join?" He stalked off to a nice shaded grassy area on the grounds.

Eliza smiled "I suppose so. I most definitely will be going to Dresden if I need more." her grin widen at the mention of a picnic. Even though she was 16, she still had never really been to one before. "Oh-I most certainly will be joining!" she said joyfully. Oh-if only Elijah was here, they could go to the picnic together. but alas, Elijah was probably in Switzerland or Germany or somewhere right now. She went to jump happily but remembered her foot and decdied to keep her feet upon solid ground. She follwoed Trent gleefully.

After the pinic finished Trent waddled back to his hut. He waved his wands and the baskets vanished {they were being sent to the House Elves} and he folded his blanket and put it in a nearby cupboard. He took a seat and waved his wand one last time so that he could enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

"Hi Trent, I'm Faye Guidry, we met, very briefly at the picnic a few days ago. Anyway, my sister sent me some Tarte Au Sucre, way too much actually, from back home and I thought, seeing as you threw the picnic for everyone, it might be fitting to bring a Tarte over for you." Faye held up what looked like a large Pecan Pie, without the Pecans.

07-19-2007, 07:51 PM
Trent smiled at the girl and accepted the tarty oh sucky or whatever it was. He placed the pie-like food on his kitchen countertop. "Would you like to come in for some tea or coffee Faye?" He offered kindly to her, "We could tuck into your... erm... pie." He had already forgotten the name of it.

Faye laughed. "Thank you Trent, that would be really nice. Would coffee be too much trouble? It goes nicely with the pie." She stepped carefully into the hut and removed her running shoes, as they were very dirty. "Incidently, the direct translation of Tarte au Sucre is 'Sugar Pie' if that makes it easier for you. It's basically Brown Sugar and Cream baked in a pie shell, so your system doesn't know whether to have a diabetic fit or cardiac arrest, but it tastes very good." Faye rambled on. She was really not capable of thinking before she spoke, and she certainly wasn't able to stop talking once she started.

"No toruble at all," Trent allowed her to walk in and closed the door behind her. After she removed her shoes he pointed her to a seat in the corner. He stalked over towards the pie and began to cut it into slices and put it onto plates. He waved his wand and the pieces of pie vanished from the kitchen and appeared on the small coffee table in front of the seats. With another flick of his wand, two steaming hot cups of coffee joined them. "Sugar is there if would like any," he informed her as he scooped two teaspoonfuls into his own and stirring afterwards. "So, Faye is it? I must say it is very kind of you to come bearing gifts," he took a bite out of the scrumcious pie. "What year are you in dear?"

druidflower
07-19-2007, 08:47 PM
"Thanks, but sugar isn't as necessary if you're having coffee with this pie." Faye settled into her seat and sipped at her coffee. "Mmm. I love coffee. And pie, and food in general. I'm a Fifth Year, Gryffindor, I turned 15 not long ago, hence the pie. I really couldn't eat it all myself no matter how much I like it. It's far too sweet. And I've not really been here long enough to make many friends, a few acquaintences and a one or two people who seem to think I'm obnoxious, and one boy in Slytherin who'd like to hex me down to my toenails, it seems. But I guess that can sort of happen for transfer students. Particularly ones who have the nasty habit of speaking before they think. So anyway, I figured I'd send some Tarte along to you, it seemed only... friendly... after the picnic."

Leeness
07-19-2007, 09:01 PM
"5th year? Wow you do look young for your age," Trent smiled. "A transfer student? Well now, that is interesting, transferred from where? If you don't mind my asking." Trent sipped some more on his coffee, "And who is this idiot Slytherin that would like to hex you? Some of these students are nutters you know!"

07-19-2007, 09:25 PM
"You know everyone says that? Which is probably why that Slytherin boy thought he could scare me. But I've got a particularly cranky older sister and two brothers, it takes A LOT to scare me. Anyway I came from Canada, Starlight and Stillwaters Academy of the Magical Arts. It's very competitave, academically, and my mother is the Headmistress, and Potions Mistress, talk about uncomfortable. I'm spectacularly bad at Potions too. Just can't pay enough attention to get it right. Anyway, my Dad works in our governmental system back home, and he pulled a few strings to get me transfered for my third year. But about halfway through term, my sister took ill and I went back to Quebec to help her out, so they transferred me back to the Academy. I finally got back for Fifth Year. Crazy ride, eh?" Faye took a bite out of her Pie and chewed thoughtfully. Janine had outdone herself again, it ws perfect. "Anyway, this boy didn't actually try to hex me, that's important to point out, we seem to have our own personal grudge flying between us, but so far he's just said nasty things and warned me to watch my back. Anthony is a second year so I kind of think it's ludicrous that he'd try, and like I said, I have a big family, the scraps we got into over Quidditch grudges have taught me well how to take care of myself. If he insists on pressing the issue I'll try and get him to move it to the dueling arena and just let him have at me. Really what does he think he can do?" Faye covered her mouth suddenly. "I'm sorry, was I being rude? I always let my mouth run away and I just don't think. My worst habit. Really. I must sound terribly cocky."

"I don't think I'd consider myself famous." Faye blushed. "I guess my Mom is a public figure, but it doesn't really connect in people's minds that a fifteen year old running around with paint and charcoal on her face, streaks in her hair and the occasional glimpse of a tattoo is the offspring of Professor Giselle Balen-Guidry. It's too far of a departure I guess, and to be honest, I'd rather it stay that way. I mean, Dad even stays out of the public eye, unless he were to make some huge mistake and there was an inquiry or something, but so far no one has ever been terribly interested in what Dad does. Dad isn't much for the press anyway. None of us are, not even Mom, especially not Mom. She just does her thing. We all do."

"Thats the best way to be when you hold such important positions though. Things have happened in this school in the past that you just wouldnt believe! and most of it has been kept from the Ministry and the Prophet. We would be hounded if stories were to leak out every year about how Hogwarts is dangerous and that there is no control or boundaries," Trent said to her. "So what subjects are you currently studying Faye?"

07-23-2007, 03:39 AM
"I'm taking everything I can fit into my schedule," said Faye brightly, as if she were informing him she was to be having chocolate cake for breakfast every day. "I've been particularly facinated by the UK curriculum for History of Magic, you see Voldemort and Voldemortist are only covered in passing among North American history books. What I've learned here in a single lesson has rendered years of History lessons regarding Europe almost completely obsolete. - Would you like help clearing away the dishes? - I've also really enjoyed Ancient Runes and Arithmancy; they don't seem to change wherever you go. I'm still twelve kinds of terrible at Potions, and I won't brag about Astronomy either, so it wasn't my mother's presence or that pesky Aurora Borealis, I'm just not strong there. As for Transfiguration, I thought that was pretty excting, Charms was less my thing, it seems. A fair sight better than Astronomy, but not as interesting. I mean, no one ever jumps out of Professor Branxston's closet screaming about arachnids do they? - Hate to see any fool who would try, he'd be polishing manacles for the rest of his life, so I've heard."

Leeness

Trent's eyes widened, and I mean widened. The girl was talking as if she didn't need to breathe in order to survive! as if she had planned this little speech out before coming to visit him. He caught a mention of dishes in between her talk of her lessons, but Trent waited until she was completely done.

"When I was at school Transfiguration and Muggle Studies were my best subjects and I was reasonably good a everything else apart from Ancient Runes and Flying. I am a horrible flyer!" He assured her. "No need to do the dishes," Trent waved his wand and the empty cups and plates marched themselves into the sink.

"So, you were saying Anj- I mean Professor Lainey was teaching you about Lord Voldemortist?" Trent asked incredibly interested. Last term Trent had heard rumour that Lainey and the Dark Lord were 'getting at it' for lack of a better term, and the idea of her teaching about him was as if she was confirming these rumours. Nuts! He thought to himself.

"Yes!" Faye chattered on excitedly, if there was one thing she could do, it was talk. Well actually it was draw, but she could still talk like it was nobody's business, "She took us into his memory using a Pensieve! Have you ever used one? You probably have, but it was my first time, and it was absolutely spectacular. Considering just whose memory we were in, it was scary too, but amazing. Professor Lainey wouldn't tell us exactly how she got a hold of his memory though. So ofcourse now I REALLY want to know how she got it. And she won't explain how, if Voldemortist killed her, she can be alive today? It's another thing I'm so curious about I think I might just burst. She said he idolized Voldemort. I kind of figured; look what he chose to name himself. And she also said that he didn't was looking for a way to beat death, just like Voldemort had been trying to do."

"A pensieve?" Trent said surprised. "Wow, that MUST have been some lesson." He listed to the girl explain the rest of the lesson. How did she get the memory? She probably owled him and he gave it to her without even questioning! Lainey was not helping herself whatsoever. "I am sure her death and rebirth is a touchy subject for her. I know I wouldn't want to talk about it if I were in the position she is."

Estelle was exploring her new school when she came across two huts. She honestly felt like she was in a fairy tale, off to explore lands she hadn't seen before. Only fairy tales are a lot more brighter and happier than reality. Bit far fetched too, but hey, that's what makes them fairy tales.

Enough fairy tale talk. Right then she was wondering whether to knock or to go away without finding out what this place was. Could there be someone living in there? Beauxbatons didn't have a hut in the middle of the grounds. But then again, this wasn't Beauxbatons.

She climbed the front steps and knocked on the door. She would wait to see if she would get a reply and if she didn't. Well. Then she'll probably go away.

Knock, knock. Someone was at the door. He smiled kindly to Faye to let her know he was going to answer it and return shortly. He opened it to a Ravenclaw girl, "Hello there my dear, how may I help you?" he asked kindly.

The door opened with a click and she smiled at the person who stood in front of her. He seemed very friendly and nice. "Sorry if I am intruding." She said in her slight French accent. "I am new to the school. Only been here one day and I was just wandering around and I was...er...just wondering what these huts were here for." She said honestly and then blushed with embarresment, hoping she didn't sound rude.

Another exchange student? Jeezo, soon Hogwarts would be foreign altogether. Trent smiled at her kindly, "This hut is my house, where I can sleep and keep my eyes out on the grounds and be nearby in general," he explained. "I take it they dont have huts wherever you are from."

Estelle smiled and felt a little stupid asking such a silly question. Of course they must have been used to live in. How silly of her. "Er. No." She said. "There aren't huts in Beauxbatons. But we don't have a forest either." She glanced at the forest nearby. "Or such big grounds." Which was true. The castle of Beauxbatons is beautiful, but they didn't have massive grounds. Not as big as Hogwarts.

She wondered if he too thought she was French, just like many others did. In reality of course she was British. But then again she had a half French grandmother, but living in France since you are five till you turn fifteen does have slight effect on your accent.

She realised she hadn't introduced herself yet. "I am Estelle White, by the way." She extended her hand.

"Oh you are from Beauxbatons? I bet this is incredibly different to you," Trent smiled. She didn't seem french, maybe she was pulling a prank or something? He looked around her suspiciously, trying to see if there was a bucket lying above his head. Everything seemed fine.... "Do you want to come in Estelle? I have another visitor as well."

"Yes. From Beauxbatons. It is very much different from there." Estelle replied, but didn't explain anymore on what Beauxbatons is like. It may sound like she didn't like it here.

She watched him do a funny thing then. Look around her as if he was expecting to be attacked by toads or something along those lines. Estelle thought about this. Another visitor? Maybe she could finally be able to talk to a few people. The only person she has spoken to yet, who is a student, is Nicolas, who is a first year, if she remembered correctly.

"Okay." She said and smiled.

Trent led her into the small hut and asked her to sit down on one of the empty seats. "This is Faye, Estelle. Faye this is Estelle," he introduced. "You may call me Trent," he smiled, "Now what would you like to drink? Both of you?" Since Faye and Trent had already finished their previous drinks.

Faye wasn't usually the shy type, but she felt out of place, moreso, she felt like she had taken up a fair amount of Trent's time anyway, plus, there was no shortage of other things she knew she had to attend to.

"Hello Estelle," she greeted earnestly, and before anyone could get a word in edgewise, she continued, "not to be rude or anything, but I was actually starting to think it was about time for me to run off. There is a stack a mile high of homework sitting on my bed, and my mother would just kill me if I transferred to Hogwarts only to flunk out of all my classes. Thanks for the coffee and the chat though. It was really nice. Oh, and Estelle, I'll see you around, maybe class or the Quidditch match next week?"

"Oh," Trent said surprised, "Sure thing Faye. Your studies are the most important thing. Thank you for the cake and the visit. Feel free to pop in anytime." He walked her to the door and watched her walk across the grounds safely before entering his hut once more. "So yes, what would you like to drink Estelle?"

Star was hurrying, looking for anyone to help. She figured that some one must be near here to help when she came across a hut she knew belong to the Groundskeeper.

Hurrying up to the door, she knocked on it and waited, her heart racing.

After a while when no one answered, Star sighed and hurried away again, back down to the Lake.

"Erm..." Estelle said to fill in the space as she thought. "I think a glass of water will do just fine." She smiled at Trent. She had just had tea before she left the castle a few minutes ago and she wasn't really the coffee type.

"No bother," Trent busied himself at the counter, waving his wand to a couple of cups. One of which filling with water, the other coffee. He levitated a tin of biscuits to the coffee table in front of the seats and then took over their drinks. "There you are, help yourself to the biscuits," Trent smiled, "So how are you liking it here then Estelle? I hope everyone is treating you right."

"Sirsesness, Professor Raisins tells me to givers you this." He said politely, passing on the parchment that had warned the Professors all about Raisin's and Boil's daughters.

and with a snap, he went on to the next Professorerses.

"Well. I haven't really met many people here." She told him. "So I cannot comment on how people are treating me. But I like the castle and the environment. It's a big change." She remained quiet for a moment and then added. "In a nice way, of course."

She looked at the house elf who had apperated in and then back at Trent as the house elf handed him a parchment and disappeared. She had heard that Hogwarts had the largest amount of house elves working for it. She then gulped some more water.

"When does this term finish?" She asked him.

Pop. A house elf had apparated into Trent's hut. He was startled at first but took the parchment off of the creature with a, "Thank you," and it disappeared just as quick as it came. He opened the parchment and read carefully. So it was true! The Headmistress' babies had gone missing... where could they be?

"You havent happened to see any of the Headmistress' children as of late?" He asked completely ignoring her question.

"It appears they are missing," Trent answered her with a low face. "Unfortunately I am needed Estelle and we are going to have to cut this meeting short. Feel free to come see me any other time. I do apologise." He put on his cloak and hat, let the girl out and closed the door behind him.

With a flick of his wand he left a notice to visitors:

Notice to Students

Jake ran up to the hut hoping to see Trent but instead he saw a big sign that said to owl him. Jake gave a loud whistle that only he, Heather, and Jake and her owls could hear. His owl came flying towards him. Jake wrote a note on a piece of paper and worteDear Trint,
There is this girl and sh is being nuts! We got her to the Hospital wing but he is out of contorl! she wants to sing to the Giant Squid! Can you help me help her?

Sincerly, Jake Roberts

He then tied it to his owl. Ryan, and told him "Find Trint and give him this then make him follow you to the Hospital wing." Jake watched him fly off and Jake suddenly sped back to the Hospital Wing.

Trent returned to his hut after his very unsucessful hunt for the babies. Well, it didnt turn out a complete disappointment. They did find a dirty nappy. Who could have them and why? It was really worrying actually. He opened the door and made his way to his big armchair, sighing in relaxation.

Nicolas thought that this was a perfectly boring day. Nothing much was happening. He hadn't seen anyone he knew all yesterday and today. He hadn't even spoken to Jolie, his stepsister, in a long while and often found himself wondering where she was.

Strolling along on the Hogwarts grounds, he looked at the two huts. He had never been there before. The first year knew that this was the place where the groundskeepers lived. He wondered if he was allowed to pop in and greet them. He had a few chocolate frogs in his pocket and he was quite happy to share. But he wasn't sure if they would like it.

So he walked around to the smaller of the two huts and knocked on the door.

Nicolas looked up as the door opened. He was looking at how tall the man in front of him was and how short he was. He stepped back a little so he wouldn't have to look up so high. "Hello!" He beamed at him. "I don't really need much help." He said as he grinned at one of the Keeper of the Grounds. "I was just getting a little bored to be honest. So I just popped in. I am Nick. Well. Nicolas actually. But people call me Nick."

*Even more crying is now going on outside of the hut. Now it sounds like it's doubled. Sounds grows louder until finally, whatever the problem was sounds slightly hush, and a calm voice saying, "There, there..." is heard. Too bad the outside of the hut was empty, because by the time the occupants went to check on the noise, all they saw was a cloak trailing far, far away. *
