The idea was brilliant. Glitter water balloons. She had filled this babies with not water but entirely of glitter and a pretty powerful sticking charm as suggested by Bart. But that was with another glitter activity. So the sticking charms in these would be great. See he was so helpful with things like this. So helpful. hehe. They should have never be left alone to gather to plan out things like this, But this, this was her own creation. Glitter and water balloons what else was better.

The bag swung across the shoulder held about a dozen of these glitter balloons. She was armed and ready. Hehe. This was going to be great. She carefully walked, with her bag as to not break any of the balloons. She had made it to the fourth floor. The sixth year slipped off to the side of the corridor to check the frigle cargo. Her brown eyes looked up and down the corridor for signs of others before opening her bag.

As Kace began to walk around and explore the castle like usual, he saw someone in the corridor. She looked like to be carrying a huge bag. What in the bloody merlin could she be doing? He furrowed his brows and being the curious one, he began to investigate and wanted to know what was going on. As the big puff went closer, he knew that girl and the face. His mouth went into the big O shape. It was Cinna! He chuckled to himself and decided to make an entrance.

"Whyyy hello there Cinna.." he grinned and it seemed like she was up to something mischievous. His eyes were on the big bag of what seemed to be balloons. He raised his eyebrow and nodded toward the bag, "I am guessing you are either pulling a prank or having the biggest water balloon fight. In either case I am in." he smiled. He really wondered what she was doing with this stuff. He also needed to know this, "Did you hear about the aparecium rumor?" I mean who hasn't but he wanted to be sure.

Zhenya was just coming from the library. She had her nose almost pressed against some past exam papers that Mr. Kitridge had given her to use for study. She was also cross-referencing her astronomy one with the book he had given her, looking up the key terms and theories. It was very helpful. VERY VERY VERY. She decided to plonk down on the floor, her knees pulled up, her new glasses pushed up the bridge of her nose...

Making her way out of the library with a few books in hand, Lux was placed when she spotted a familiar face seated on the floor in the middle of the corridor. It had been a while since she had caught up with Zhenya and she liked the older Snake because she was always so friendly and easy to talk to.

"Hey there! I like the glasses!" They were new, right? They sure looked it! Lux thought that they looked really good Zhenya, but didn't think that she would suit them at all. Fortunately she didn't need them, but she did like wearing sunglasses in the summer so that she didn't get blinded by the sun.

Joining her friend, she sat down beside her on the floor. If her clothes got dirty, it wouldn't be hard to clean them.

Making her way out of the library with a few books in hand, Lux was placed when she spotted a familiar face seated on the floor in the middle of the corridor. It had been a while since she had caught up with Zhenya and she liked the older Snake because she was always so friendly and easy to talk to.

"Hey there! I like the glasses!" They were new, right? They sure looked it! Lux thought that they looked really good Zhenya, but didn't think that she would suit them at all. Fortunately she didn't need them, but she did like wearing sunglasses in the summer so that she didn't get blinded by the sun.

Joining her friend, she sat down beside her on the floor. If her clothes got dirty, it wouldn't be hard to clean them.

It didn't take much to break Zhenya's concentration, considering it was boring. Necessary, but boring. She didn't register the footsteps until they came up closer, and she heard a voice. She looked up and saw Lux and smiled. "Oh thank you," she said happily, "I only got them during the holidays. Getting lots of headaches and stuff…" those headaches weren't good. Nope.

Zhenya smiled as Lux joined her. The company was VERY welcome. "How were your holidays Lux?" she asked.

Oooh, summer glasses!! That was awesome! The headaches not so much though. "Well, they look fabulous at least!" BEAM. And if they helped with Zhenya's headaches, that made them loads better. Lux didn't like her friends being unwell, and good eye health was very important.

The conversation turned to the summer holidays in general, and that wasn't too surprising since they hadn't had a chance to talk properly in a while. Even though they saw each other in classes, with all the school work and partnering with other people, they hadn't really had any time to interact until now. "My summer was awesome! I didn't want it to end." Siiiiiigh. "How was your holiday?" Hopefully amazing besides the headaches?

As Kace began to walk around and explore the castle like usual, he saw someone in the corridor. She looked like to be carrying a huge bag. What in the bloody merlin could she be doing? His mouth went into the big O shape. It was Cinna! He chuckled to himself and decided to make an entrance.

The lioness placed her glitter balloon back in her bag. Now she was looking at the Hufflepuff. She smirked but then shrugged it off. "Neither, Art project." Smirking She zipped her bag back up and patted it lightly. She hated lying to Kace but the less he knew the better. Hmmmm Art project this gave her another idea for something. "What's up with you?"

She laughed, "Oh, yeah. I did." Honestly who didn't? "Who in the world would come up with something like that?" Who ever it was deserved to pelleted with her glitter balloons. She had first hear of it by Emmy but wanted to read it of herself. It was INSANE. CRAZY.

Cinna pulled out one of the balloons out of her bag. She couldn't help but too smirk as she turned it in her hand, Brown eyes beaming at the glorious sphere. She was still very proud of herself over this. She tore her eyes off of the sphere when she heard footsteps coming either up or down the corridor. Her first instinct was to throw the balloon at whoever it was coming up the corridor.

Squinting her eyes. She seen that the person was just Kace. So it was no big deal, honestly. She didn't look at him but returned the greeting. "Hey Kace." Still not looking at him. The lioness placed her glitter balloon back in her bag. Now she was looking at the Hufflepuff. She smirked but then shrugged it off. "Neither, Art project." Smirking She zipped her bag back up and patted it lightly. She hated lying to Kace but the less he knew the better. Hmmmm Art project this gave her another idea for something. "What's up with you?"

She laughed, "Oh, yeah. I did." Honestly who didn't? "Who in the world would come up with something like that?" Who ever it was deserved to pelleted with her glitter balloons. She had first hear of it by Emmy but wanted to read it of herself. It was INSANE. CRAZY.

He raised his eyebrows when she mentioned it was an Art Project. He didn't believe that for one second. I mean come on this was Cinna we were talking about. She must have something up her sleeve. He still eyed it suspiciously and said, "Uh huh....art project my butt. You are up to something and I am sure I will know soon enough.." he grinned and he was gonna figure it out eventually. Maybe Emmy would know? Maybe he would tickle it out of her. Aaahh look at her being clever and moving the topic onto him. "Aahhh I see what you are doing here, trying to make me forget it. It won't work my friend.." he patted her on the shoulder. "Well I am doing well just exploring and I am glad I did because now I know what semi of your plan in motion is.." he shrugged and began to look around for more stuff.

When he asked her about the rumor, she obviously knew about it. I mean no surprise there right? That was an excellent question right there. "You know I have no idea. Do you think someone has beef with Emmy or they are too scared to admit their feelings for me. I mean I already had one awkward encounter.." He began to explain to Cinna he remembered a puff named Annalecia Roman liked him and she kissed him on the dance floor like in his third year or fourth year and that was awkward enough because he didn't like her in that way. They were cool about it now. "I mean besides that, I guess they are interested in my exciting love life with Emmy.." he winked. I mean it was exciting with Emmy and that was it.

Zhenya beamed at her friend, "Thanks Lux. I like them." She was still smiling. Lux was so lovely, Zhenya wished they were in the same house! How cool would that be!?

Zhenya was glad Lux had such a good holiday. "What did you get up to?" she asked, curious. She liked hearing about the fun adventures her friends had had. "Mine was really fun too. I went to seattle to visit a friend, and got to see my brother and meet my little nephew. He's so cute!"

It was nice to hear that Zhenya liked her glasses because it would really suck to be stuck with ones you hated! And it was even nicer to hear that her friend had an amazing holiday. "Oh, how was Seattle? I've never been there before. And how old is your nephew? I'm going to be an aunt myself!" First time ever, so she hoped that she did an amazing job, but Bay said she would and she believed him.

"Well, I saw my friends and my boyfriend and went shopping. I didn't go on the school trip, but that was totally fine with me because I can always go to Loch Ness another time." Not really a big deal in her mind. Lux hoped that she could see Zhenya lots this term since she would be graduating.

First time ever, so she hoped that she did an amazing job, but Bay said she would and she believed him.

Wow, Seattle sounded pretty awesome! Maybe Lux would go there some time because she sure loved to travel and learn about new places. "That's awesome! I haven't really been to the US much besides Florida. My sister used to live there, but she's in London now which is wonderful." It made it easier for her to see Willa when she wasn't in school. "Aww. Little kids are so precious. I absolutely love them." They were full of joy and so playful. "I'm so looking forward to it. I'm going to spoil the baby." That was what aunts were for. It was their job. "I'm not sure when the baby will arrive, but I worry it will be when I'm still in school." That would suck, but it was okay. She had missed the wedding too, unfortunately.

"It seems that everyone loved it, and I would have gone too if it left a little later." But as it was she didn't mind. "It would be awesome if there was a hiking trip." Hiking was always a lot of fun. Maybe she could do some the next summer. And camping too!! Being out in the wilderness was always so much fun. "I bought clothes and shoes!! Oh and nail polish." That was always needed for her to do manicures.

That's what she did with Bart. Just give him good and he pretty much forgot anything else. For a bit at least.

He raised at her eyebrows when she said the most bull feathers lie in the history of lie telling. "Surrreeeee your not doinggg annnythhingg.." he rolled his eyes yet again and smirked. "Is Bart in on this too?" he asked being the curious puff he was. Now onto the rumor being told about Kace and Emmy. He nodded because what Cinna said was true. "Yeahhh they really didn't have anything interesting to write about. Apparently me talking to any girl is considered flirting. Like even right now, me and you talking is considered flirting." Obviously it wasn't but he was trying to make a point here.

But on the side note, "Emmy and I have talked and she doesn't believe it. We are good now. All I know is someone is jealous out there.." he smirked. He walked over to get his skateboard out of his book bag and began to skate down the hallway being the rebel he was.

"Oh Florida. What did you do there, besides spend time with your sister?" Zhenya might want to travel one day, but she didn't know much about anywhere besides England and Russia. Even Seattle she knew little about, besides what Raven had shown her.

Zhenya smiled, "So do I! Oh spoiling them is so much fun!" One day Zhenya would be a mother, probably, but until that day... she just enjoyed the aunty-ing with no on-going commitment. None of the bad stuff. "Well I hope it's during holidays, so you can be there."

"OH HIKING!" Zhenya loved hiking. "That would be incredible! I'd love that so much! I wonder if they will do another one during these holidays." Though she wasn't sure they would let her go, seeing as she would be graduating and everything.

Zhenya smiled, "Sounds like fun. Always need more clothes, shoes and nail polish." But Zhenya also loved getting new parchment, quills, books and bits and bobs from the Apothecary.

Today was another one of Clara's hazy days.

She hated these because she didn't understand them. She felt tired, but didn't want to sleep. She felt hungry, but didn't want to eat. She felt fine, but she didn't. She didn't know what she was doing.

Part of her wanted to seek out Eden or Gabriel, but she'd bothered them enough over the past few months. Instead, she wandered around the school, ending up on the fourth floor corridor. The redhead sunk to floor, tucking her legs underneath her. Maybe she could just .... stay here for a little while.

Humming to herself softly, Maggie skipped down corridors on her way to the library. She was holding that book on unicorns she was supposed to return close to her chest. Ah yes. For some reason she was in a very good mood today. Which was gooooooooooooood.

And while she noticed the girl on the floor, Maggie didn't really care.

It wasn't any of her business and certainly not her job to make sure people were feeling o-

"Oh Florida. What did you do there, besides spend time with your sister?" Zhenya might want to travel one day, but she didn't know much about anywhere besides England and Russia. Even Seattle she knew little about, besides what Raven had shown her.

Zhenya smiled, "So do I! Oh spoiling them is so much fun!" One day Zhenya would be a mother, probably, but until that day... she just enjoyed the aunty-ing with no on-going commitment. None of the bad stuff. "Well I hope it's during holidays, so you can be there."

"OH HIKING!" Zhenya loved hiking. "That would be incredible! I'd love that so much! I wonder if they will do another one during these holidays." Though she wasn't sure they would let her go, seeing as she would be graduating and everything.

Zhenya smiled, "Sounds like fun. Always need more clothes, shoes and nail polish." But Zhenya also loved getting new parchment, quills, books and bits and bobs from the Apothecary.

What did she do in Florida besides spend time with Willa? "Well, I'd go on the beach and of course spend time with my friends." Everyone had a lot of fun then,though it was always awkward having Bay and Willa around each other. Lux didn't like that they couldn't get along, but Willa had been the one who started it.

Spoiling her niece or nephew sounded like a really fun idea!! "That's what I plan to do. It's always easier to spoil a kid that's not yours." She giggled. One day she would be a mother and maybe then she'd spoil her kids too, but for now she was more than happy with being an aunt. "I really hope so, but if I miss it I know Willa will have pictures to show me." Just like from her wedding, but this time it would be her and Jaxson holding their new baby.

"Is it boy troubles?" It was usually that. Or at least Maggie couldn't think of another reason for a teenage girl to be upset. It was either boy troubles or weight issues.

Sometimes both.

She just nodded in reply to Clara's question. Yes. SHE was okay. But then again she also wasn't sitting around on the floor looking miserable.

Two-way mirrors were amazing and she loved them, but anniversaries were important to Lux even if they didn't do too much on them. She just liked being with her boyfriend.

The mention of potions homework really got her interest. Lux had been wondering who to work with on the assignment, or if she would rather do the essay. She didn't really like writing much but the extra practice would help her in terms of becoming a potioneer. It was very important to understand exactly what went into a potion. This meant ingredients, method, preparation...everything. But then it wasn't as if she couldn't do that during her spare time and swapping potions WAS fun.

"Okay, sure!" Reaching into her bag, she extracted her phial of potion. "Of course this is supposed to induce happiness." Like she would have gone with any other emotion.

Zhenya thought about that, she supposed it would be. "What does he do now that he's graduated?" she asked. Zhenya was really interested in what other people did after they finished. She was determined to be a healer just like her father, and she wanted to help brew individualised potions to help those in need. It would happen, she would make sure of it.

Ooh happiness! Zhenya smiled. "Mine's excitement. I'd be interested to see the similarities and differences between the two. You know... sometimes being excited makes me really happy and sometimes when I'm happy I find it easy to be excited." Maybe she was overlooking some important point, but never mind. She handed her potion to Lux so that she could drink it when she liked.

What did Bay do now?? Oooh, she supposed that Zhenya was asking because she was a Seventh Year. Crazy to think that she and Kace would be Graduating soon. Lux was jealous. "Well, he never really worked out an exact plan of what to do after school. Total opposite of me." Hehe, she already had everything mapped out. "But he has expressed wanting to open a joke shop." Hopefully that will happen because it would be so cool.

An excitement potion, huh. That sounded pretty neat. "This is gonna be fun!" They did a little switcheroo. "Watch out for my hyper happiness! I'm gonna be going super Hufflepuff on you I think." Haha, this would be something. Removing the stopper from the phial, she downed the whole thing in one go.

Zhenya took the pink happiness potion from Lux, "Thanks," she said, "Cheers!" and drank it. Wasn't... too bad. Hehe Super Hufflepuff! "Super Hufflepuff? I think more people should be super Hufflepuff," she said, feeling quite happy.

"Yeah, it's not an easy decision to make. It's totally normal to take time thinking about it like Bay." Lux smiled. She supposed that there were loads of people like her boyfriend, and it was totally fine because she was so proud of him.

The potion didn't taste too bad, and honestly Lux was used to taking them by now. Some tasted good, and some tasted nasty. She was just happy and EXCITED to work with Zhenya on the assignment. She couldn't wait to write about her observations. There were a lot of things that she couldn't wait to do!!!!

"I want to brew soooooo many more potions! I'm going to be brewing with Professor Culloden!! He TOTALLY said we would be doing that this yearrr." WEEEEEEEEE!! POTIONS WERE TOTALLY AWESOMETASTIC. She couldn't wait to create and brew them for a living. AND BAY. She would get to see Bay whenever she wanted once she Graduated. THAT MADE HEER SO HAPPY AND EXCITED. Like she could make a million Patronuses right now if she tried.

Do you know my grandpapi was Potions Master at the Soviet School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and he was an incredible herbologist, and so he used to teach me how to brew potions." She nodded, smiling at the thought of him. He was her inspiration for her patronus, after all. He was the BEST man ever.

Zhenya giggled at Lux's proclaiming to be a SUPER HUFFLEPUFF. "Lux of COURSE you're a Super Hufflepuff! ALL Hufflepuffs are super. Super DUPER!" IT WAS TRUE! Zhenya loved being a Slytherin, but she wasn't sure why. She didn't feel like she fit in very well, but that was good. It was good. She was just so happy to be at Hogwarts, really, surrounded by beautiful people and lovely professors.

Zhenya just felt very one with the world. It made her calm and euphoric, and she was just... happy. And Lux was happy, she was super Hufflepuff happy, and that made Zhenya happy.

Zhenya nodded at Lux's agreeing how cool that was. "It was super cool, he was such a great potioneer." Zhenya beamed at Lux, feeling very happy for her. "Oh that will be super awesome! It must be so amazing when you go home and get to see him on holidays and breaks," she said. She would be happy if she had a boyfriend and got to see him. But she was just happy that she got to see her friends and family. Especially her cousin Sophia, Sophia was a right laugh.

"What are Slytherin's? They're not always happy or exciting or... always Super. They're... They're SUPER AMBITIOUS! I am ambitious about becoming a Healer," she declared. Super Ambitious Slytherins! She would be the happiest healer ever, brewing healing potions for her patients, and curing them. She'd have to look into DNA modification with potions too, to see if she could do things with that. That would be awesome and she'd be so happy knowing she had been able to cure people and help them.

Lux just KNEW that Zhenya's grandpa was brilliant and she was excited to be like him.

YAAAAAAY!!

Zhenya was happy, which meant that her potion had WORKED. Lux was so excited to see that she had done a good job. Succeeding at something was very exciting and she was proud of herself!! "I hope I can be as good a potioneer as your grandpa and Professor Culloden!!" That would be so amazing because they were geniuses at their field. Lux just KNEW that Zhenya's grandpa was brilliant and she was excited to be like him.

And they were talking about Bay!! HER BAYY. "Yeah, it's incredible!! I can't wait to see him again. I can't wait to talk to him through the mirrors!!" Yeaaaaah, it was going to be incredible. Zhenya smiled happily at Lux, who was very ambitious. "Lux! OH Merlin you know you're SO ambitious! If you didn't tick every other Hufflepuff box, I'd have thought you could have been a green snake too! I'd be happy if you were in my house," she said. But then thinking about what Lux had said, "And Lux, you KNOW you're amazing at Potions. You know one day, one day, people just like us are going to be sitting here just like we are now, and they're going to say... I want to be an amazing Potioneer just like Lux Carrington." Zhenya nodded, totally 100% truth. But it would still be cooooool if Lux was a Slytherin. OR if Zhenya was a Hufflepuff. That would be so cool, though Zhenya was happy just to be at Hogwarts, whether in Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Hagrid's Hut.

Zhenya was so happy Lux was so excited and happy with Bay. It made her so happy that her friend was happy, being loved and having lots of fun. She hadn't ever used a two-way mirror but anything that made communicating to those long distances away was a good thing. A happy thing! People were happy when they were talking with the people they loved, weren't they? "I'm SO happy for you Lux. You have a two-way mirror, you've got Bay to talk to over it... life is GOOD!"

She'd heal everyone with a smile on her face, all day every day. How could anyone NOT be happy and smiling all the time? They were ALIVE and... and stuff. They could talk, breathe, eat, laugh, have fun, see the beautiful RAIN and stuff. Yeah, she was so happy here at Hogwarts. Could be cold and snowing or it might be warm and sunny. Everything.

Clara pretended not to notice the concerned looks because, as far as she was concerned, she didn't require looks of that sort. She even went as far as to try and prove it by sitting up straight and clearing her throat quietly ... but, apparently, that just encouraged the girl to sit beside her and ask questions ..... potentially personal questions.

Clara simply shrugged, trying to think of something to say to make the girl either leave her alone or stop looking at her like she was a wounded deer ..... "What's your name?" She asked after a moment, when it dawned on her that the blonde seemed familiar with Clara, but she had no idea who she was. And in regards to the offer of chocolate, she shook her head. "No, thank you."

She was probably one of the few that didn't eat chocolate when distressed.

Perhaps that was because of no torturous exams, the odd year sandwiched between OWLs and NEWTs. Zhenya was super happy to be leaving at the end of this year, getting a job and doing what she loved, living with Sophia and actually being there all the time, but she didn't want to rub it in.

Aww! "I'd LOVE to be your healer! I want to create healing potions, too. I want to heal the world!" It was a BIG declaration but she wanted to. No illnesses, muggle or magical. She felt doing that would make the world happy, just like how Zhenya was feeling now. She smiled as Lux hugged her, and Zhenya returned the hug.

Zhenya could see just how excited her friend was about graduating and seeing everyone, and was even happier that Lux wanted to see her too. "YES! Oh amazing, and we can totally hang out in our lab... because we will need a lab one day." she nodded.

"Lux the encyclopaedia! Oh has a ring to it, this will be great. We could even write a book about potion making." YES Zhenya could see that TOO! "Do you have any ideas for names?" Zhenya tried to think of some.

It occurred to Toby on the way back down through the castle that the corridors were probably fair game. All day he'd been walking around and had only just realised on his way back through the corridors that different stretches of wall had been turned red or yellow or blue or green. He wondered 1. if that was why he was in higher spirits today, what with all the colour on the walls, and 2. how the heck he'd managed to not notice it earlier, given he'd been looking for something to charm with 'Colovaria'.

Although, was it really such a surprise? There had been times in the past when much bigger, significant things had escaped his notice, so it wasn't all that strange. Anyway, he'd noticed now.

The fourth floor was easily the emptiest when it came to colourful walls; Toby hadn't seen a single yet on this level of the castle, so he actually felt like it was his DUTY to turn it yellow. Cheerful castle, woo!

He stopped in front of a large empty expanse of stone wall, and looked left down the corridor, then right, thinking. Toby didn't know if they were limited in how much of the walls they were allowed to change colours, but it was a good opportunity to see just what the extent of the spell was in his hands. He raised his wand, which up until now he'd been spinning between his fingers.

"Colovaria!" With a point of his wand, and a more forceful enthusiastic incantation than before, the wall began to change colour. Toby took a step back, watching the yellow creep across the stone in bother directions. Soon, he had to start turning his head left and right to keep checking on either end, until eventually a stretch of the wall that was no less than twenty feet had turned yellow, fading back into the grey of the stone at either end. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Once again, Toby wrote that down on his parchment, which was steadily becoming more and more crumpled every time he repeated the process. He should probably... rewrite this all on fresh parchment when he was done. Yeah.

After taking a few moments to get down the details, Toby shoved that back in his pockets and went on his way again.

Really. The yellow wall made the corridor that bit more cheerful.

Maggie had run UPSTAIRS instead of down. Which made absolutely no sense but she was trying to get away from an ENORMOUS spider so the part of her brain responsible for logical thinking wasn't working right now. So, naturally she'd run up the first stairs she'd been able to find.

At least she couldn't hear anyone running after her anymore.

Nor could she hear pincers.

Or someone calling her tasty.

Out of breath she slowed down enough to be able to look behind her. There was nothing there. No acromantula. She glanced up at the ceiling to make sure it wasn't hiding up there. Nope. Nothing.

WHAT ON EARTH HAD JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!??!?!

Eventually she stopped moving altogether. She should find someone. A professor or something. But now that she wasn't in any immediate danger anymore - as far as she could tell - her body was out of adrenaline to spare. Maggie couldn't even speak. Instead she leaned against a nearby wall, wand still tightly gripped in her hand.

It was a lovely day. Cosgrach had just sent a letter home and was on his way down to meal. He was especially happy about food today (more than usual), because he'd asked the elves to cook him something special and he bet they did. They were cool like that. So, he started to walk faster as he casually and happily looked around... and saw Magdalena with her wand in hand and panting. Clearly they had been duelling in the corridors, which was completely against the rules, but... he could just walk away, y'know? He thought of the lasagna and how terrible it would be when cold. Yeah, he should just walk away... though Magdalena didn't look very happy at all... okay maybe he could ask what was wrong, but that was it. No more words. Punish whoever hurt her, and go eat his lasagna.

UGH, he hated kids.

Maggie pointed her wand in the general direction of where the footsteps were coming from. It DID sound like a person but who knew. Someone must have set the acromantulas loose in the first place. So maybe they were now looking for survivors to-

She breathed a sigh of relief. "Professor." Oh. Oops. Her wand was still sort of pointed at him. Eh. She lowered it rather quickly, after glancing behind her down the corridor. Still nothing there. "There's a big..." Maggie used her hands to show just HOW BIG the thing had been. "...spiders. There's a big...one of the big ones...the really big ones." She gestured behind her again with her wand as if there was something to see there.

Which there wasn't.

Whoaaaaaaaah, calm down Maggie! He wasn't whoever had been duelling (or arguing) with her. He lifted his hand in a calm down gesture, and wondered just WHO could have scared her so much -

Spiders? He blinked. "The... acromantulas?" Sorry, he wasn't getting it. Acromantulas. At school. Impossible. She was making it up. He didn't want to believe her. No. His lasagna awaited him. But his logic urged him to ask more, because although it was HIGHLY unlikely, her state said it was true.

When Culloden said the word Acromantula, Maggie nodded furiously. "The big ones." She repeated. Yes, she technically knew the correct term but right now her brain wasn't working too well. Lack of oxygen maybe. Or a near death experience. Or a combination of the two.

Where??? Was he going after them? Had he just heard her??

She'd been hoping he was going to suggest they hide in his office and barricade the door. "Down-"

Maggie gestured behind her into the direction she'd just come from. "I was on the second floor." Yes. So that's where she'd last seen the creature. Maybe it was already way farther than that though. Maybe it was already here, hiding in the shadows..... she shuddered a little and glanced behind her again.

Cosgrach visibly paled and choked. Down. What? Oh, second floor. He gulped. It was clear he was scared, and he certainly didn't rush to the second floor. He wanted to run away to the seventh floor with her. He was too young to die! He opened his mouth to suggest just that - that they run away - but he had to be professional. Maybe she was making it up. Maybe this was just a prank on him. Yes. Yes. Just a prank. He would walk into this trap and they would all laugh. Hahaha.

"I... I'm gonna check it then," he whispered, gulped again and turned to go. "You... wait here." Or go upstairs and save her life. He paused only for a moment to hopefully hear her say 'Don't worry Sir, I'm going to keep you company and we'll beat those creatures together!' then left for the stairs, wand in hand.

Culloden looked exactly like she felt right now. Which wasn't exactly comforting. He was a PROFESSOR after all. He was supposed to have a solution to this. He was so supposed to say that everything was going to be alright. Instead, he looked like he really wanted to run away.

Not that she could hold it against him, really.

Maggie stared at him. "I'm not going to STAY here by myself????" Was he insane? What if they came back? That was the dumbest suggestion she'd heard in a while. And if Culloden was going down there to see the acromantula for himself, Maggie was going to have to come with him. To keep herself safe obviously.

She took a step towards the professor, giving him an expectant look. This wasn't up for discussion.
