Jack walked into the lobby in a hurry, he looked a mess. His mother had contacted him saying that Alice was sick as well and now the patronus from Gavin. "Elizabeth..." He said in a caring tone. "I can get her home." He said to the other men. "Thank you both for looking after her, i'm sorry it took me so long to get here. Our daughter is sick as well."

Elizabeth glanced up at her really caring and very handsome husband. Relief flooded her face as her grip on Charles' shirt loosen. Eliza gave a weary glance at Gavin. After a few moments, she was able to stand up, long enough to lean on her husband. Eliza didnt realize that Charles had her rings still from when they slid off.

Jack was trying to hold Elizabeth up. He looked to Gavin. "I'll get her home and look after her...I might not be in for a few days with her and the baby being ill.." He took Elizabeth's left hand in his, noting the missing rings. "Where are your rings, darling?" He asked in a way that showed it wasn't a pressing matter, he was curious. But they were just rings, they could always buy others, he was more concerned with her health.

Okay, now what the heck was he meant to do? Charles stared down at Elizabeth bewildered, but didn't say anything. Of course he wasn't going to push her away, she was seriously unwell. He nodded in response to Gavin's question, but looked up when Jack came out of nowhere. He nodded politely to the man, but stood with her, ready to catch her again if she fell. Once she had a hold on Jack, Charles held out the hand holding the rings to Jack. "When she passed out, these fell off. Do you need some help to get her home?" No one could say he wasn't courteous.

Elizabeth glanced up at Jack and blinked, "I aint too sure." She rubbed her eyes with her free hand and leaned against him. "I thought I had them on today..." Eliza moaned a little and closed her eyes, getting dizzy. After a few moments, she glanced at Charles with a light smile, "Thank you..." Elizabeth didnt reach out to get her rings since she didnt have that much energy.

Jack listened to Charles and then Elizabeth he held her with one hand and took the rings in the other. "Thank you for looking after her, Charles. I owe you one.." There was a great look of worry on Jack's face, for his daughter and now his wife. "No, thank you..i can get her home. You have been of great enough help today." He looked down at his wife. "Ready?"

Elizabeth glanced up at Jack with love in her eyes. Even in sickness, she couldnt forget how much she adored her husband. Eliza tried to kiss his cheek but sighed and gave up. Elizabeth nodded, "Yes..." She buried her head in his chest.

"You're most welcome." He nodded to both of them. "I wish you all the best, Elizabeth." He stood back and picked up his jacket off the floor. His eyes lingered over Elizabeth though, hoping she'd get home easily with Jack now. He glanced at Gavin as Jack checked if Elizabeth was okay. It seemed like half of the department was ill and Charles wasn't too happy, he didn't want to get ill too.

Jack nodded to both men and as soon as Elizabeth said she was ready to leave he apperated them home.

The lift doors opened not on Level Six but on Level Five. Jade was really confused and she apologized to Gia and Cora. By accident, she must have pushed Five instead of Six.

Since they were here, she might as well explain about the department of International Cooperation. She gestured to them to get out of the lift. "Again, I am sorry about this little mix up but this is the level of the department of Cooperation. Basically they are the ones who are in contact with other magical ministries and they keep track of all security issues involving different countries as well such as smuggling foreign artifacts out of Britain and so forth. Under them also our various different magical ambassadors operate. Any questions?

They went to level five instead of six? Giggle! "That's okay." She certainly didn't mind. Kept them on their toes, yeah?

Cora listened as Jade explained this level as well. This one was probably a really interesting level too. Interacting with other countries and things was pretty cool and fun. She didn't speak any other languages besides English and tiny bit of Spanish though, and she liked using her wand a lot, so she probably wouldn't be as good a fit here as she would be in the Accidents and Catastrophes department. Or as good a fit as she assumed she would be since she hadn't really done much on the level yet.

But once again, she had no questions. "Nope, none from me," she replied with another grin.

Jade nodded briskly and smiled at both women before leading them back to the lift. The next floor that they were going to visit was going to be interesting for sure. Every new employee did not really enjoy their first introduction to the floor. Jade decided to keep it as a surprise not telling the women anything about the next floor.

Zach landed at Level 5 and looked around feeling very enthusiastic. He looked at the reception desk and smiled.

"I am here for an appointment with the Department Head." he said looking very calm and smart.

Its been a while since his last round of visit with the other department, and that was when they had a different Minister and he was still an advisor, so it will be very interesting to have this rounds, again.

Walking past reception he noticed someone near the reception and heard they were requesting to see him. "Hello, I'm the department head, Gidyun Yenorin." he said approaching the man "What can I do for you?"

He really hoped it wasn't someone he'd already met, because he couldn't place him! He was going to feel really guilty if it was someone he'd met at the orientation last month!

Zach turned and looked for the person who spoke. He gave a big smile for the Department Head. He never expect to see him in the lobby straight away. Zach extended his arm to shake the guy's hand.

"Good day, Mr. Yenorin. My name is Zach McMillan." he said then paused to clear his throat.

"Sorry about that," referring to the clearing of his throat, "I am here on behalf of the Senior Undersecretary." obviously because he is the junior Undersecretary, but the nature of his business here is not to introduce himself to everybody.

"It's a pleasure. Please call me Gidyun." he said with a smile shaking the man's hand. Happy he'd finally met someone besides the minister from level 1, he knew he probably go up and meet the new senior undersecretary as well.

"What is it the senior undersecretary requires?" he asked curiously. Was he needed? Or did something happen? Paperwork?

Zach smiled as the department head bombarded him with questions.

"Slow down, Gidyun" he said with a smile.

"I am just here to inquire about the Liaison Officer for the Magical Cooperation Department." he said and cleared his throat.

"Have you made your pick? Or do you need help from the Ministry?" he said with an quizzical look in his face.

A little confused, when he said to slow down then said he needed to know about the liaison to the minister's offices. Wait...no wasn't Meghan the li...no oh right. "Oh, no we have a liaison that has been chosen, Charles Taylor is the liaison to the minister's offices. I believe Gavin chose him awhile back."

He had the name right, he knew that. Considering the man had been driving him bonkers from the moment he'd met him at that symposium a few years back!

Now, Zach was really taken aback. He wasn't sure why the Liaison Supervisor hasn't been updating the list and where is she, but two incidents need to be investigated on.

Zach cleared his throat and said, "I am so sorry. I think there is an internal matter that needs to be addressed in the Minister's Office itself. I was sent here due to the fact that your department was said to have "no" liaison officer. I guess I have to talk to the Supervisor about it." he said with a faint smile.

Now, that is a bit of a shameful situation he is at.

Giving him a kind smile back "Oh no worries, I'm sure it doesn't hurt to double check that all the levels, have the correct one listed anyway." He knew he'd been double checking stuff on his own level since starting. Gavin had kind of lapsed on keeping paperwork current, so he knew it didn't hurt.

"Easy enough though, if you have any further questions, feel free to come to my office or send me a note."

There was a bright, new day of surveying in store! Laura was confident in her surveying abilities, thanks largely in part to the successes of the previous day when she and Jasmine had surveyed Levels One and Two of the Ministry. Hopefully, they would be continuing the process smoothly today.

It had been Roxanne's idea to send the Environment employees out and about to survey the rest of the Ministry. Anyone they could get their hands on, if they had the time and were gracious enough to answer just a few simple questions. Well, perhaps to a witch or wizard outside of the Environmental department wouldn't think them so simple. Laura had to remind herself that although it was her job to know about all that stuff about being "green," most everyone else was busy being the cream of the crop of their own fields and much too busy to think extensively about how they were impacting the environment.

With the same clipboard she had before tucked under her arm, a click-pen peeking out from behind her ear, and a stack of 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' fliers bulging from her work bag, Laura stepped out of the lobby area of Level 5. She scanned the room silently with her blue eyes. She wondered if she needed a visitor's pass or something to get through into the work areas, but she needn't go that far. She wasn't about to parade through the cubicles, waving her clipboard of survey questions under everyone's noses. She could probably snag a few Ministry workers who meandered through the lobby. Besides, she had to wait for Jasmine.

Instead, Laura took a seat, happy to be rid of the extra weight she was carrying in her bag. She held onto the clipboard on her lap, though if Jasmine came before any Level Five employees came inquiring and agreeing to the survey (she figured she looked conspicuous enough in her bright green attire), Laura had agreed to switch surveying duties and flier duties with her coworker. For now, she waited for Jasmine and for any curious Ministry employees to engage her.

Zach prides himself of his punctuality... And his ability to research a lot about the topic and the target before heading into the meeting... After making his way to his office, he headed straight to the Department of International Cooperation for his meeting with the Department Head.

He had a very awkward meeting with Mr. Yenorin before... But that was not his fault that the Liaison Supervisor was not able to update their system. Zach just sighed thinking how shameful that memory was.

He then stood I front of the reception. "I have a meeting with Mr. Yenorin, please." he said politely.

Hearing someone ask for him from outside his office, he stepped from the office briefly. "Mr. McMillan come on into the office, and we can discuss those changes you mentioned in your note." he said stepping aside so the man could enter the office ahead of him.

Zach smiled as he was recognized by the Department Head. He smiled at him and said "Thank you." he said gathering his composure and made his way towards the office.

There is always a first time to everything, well since his visit here last year, this is the only time he came back, and that time was a little bit embarrassing, this time will be different.
