Oh gosh! He grimaced at her vomiting, but still held onto her because she just looked so unsteady. Feeling her sway even more, he was about to suggest she sat down, but instinct made him react to her knees buckling and he picked her up so as to get her to a better place and not in the middle of the lobby. "Elizabeth?" If this carried on, he'd have to go and look for Jack himself and if the man wasn't around, then go to Gavin and get her home address and if the worst came to the worst, take Elizabeth to his own flat until he could contact either of the men.

Elizabeth glanced at Charles, about to say something to acknowledge him when everything went black. Elizabeth's head fell back and her curls started to fall out from her bun at the sudden movement. Her hand fell and her rings slid off.

Great. Just great. He had an unconscious Elizabeth in his arms, no idea where she lived and now her rings were on the floor and there was a puddle of vomit. Ugh. Charles carefully lowered her to the floor still holding up her head a little, picked up her rings and vanished the vomit puddle before kneeling beside Elizabeth again and deciding if he should go and find Jack or Gavin or just get her somewhere comfortable first.

Stepping off the lifts Gavin was about to head for the work areas when he spotted movement nearby. Hurrying over "What happened?" he asked dropping down beside Elizabeth looking over at Charles who was there beside the unconscious Elizabeth. Was it that same stupid illness that they'd just been talking about at the meeting??? If so crap...that meant Elizabeth needed to go to level 2 now as well!

Thankfully, one of the two people he wanted to see was right there. Charles shook his head, bewildered. "I don't know. She was heading home looking pretty ill, I asked if she needed any help because she looked positively green and she swayed, then it just got worse. She vomited and passed out." He had no idea!

Nodding he listened as Charles spoke "Well let's see if we can see if she can wake at least for a few minutes "Ennervate." he said after pulling his wand out and tapping her forehead. "Elizabeth? Can you talk to us?"

Elizabeth's eyelids fluttered and she moaned a little. She glanced up at Gavin and Charles but looking up made her feel worse so she closed her eyes again and forced out a, "Yes..." before going quiet again. Eliza was shaking, feeling like she was in the artic despite her skin feeling on fire.

He nodded at Gavin's suggestion and looked down at Elizabeth as she woke up. He took off his jacket with some difficulty and laid it over her because she was shaking like a leaf. He didn't say anything, but he was worried and still hadn't looked away since she'd woken up. Mostly because he didn't want to get vomited on, but there was quite a lot of concern there compared to what Charles would usually be feeling.

Touching her forehead with the back of his hand "She's definitely feeling clammy." he said quietly "Elizabeth we're going to get you home." Though he was seriously thinking that Mungo's might just be better. Glancing up at Charles "Can you try and find Jack?" That might be a trick...maybe a patronus actually might be better, considering he could be anywhere.

Elizabeth's eyes open up fast and she sat up rapidly. She was about to say something when dizziness came over her because of the rapid motion. Eliza fell back and after a few moments, she managed to mutter, "I can get myself home... I already interrupted enough of the workday... I dont want to bother you two anymore..." That whole thing took about five minutes to get out.

Charles nodded at Gavin's words and then raised a skeptical eyebrow at him being asked to find Jack. "I've only met the man once. I'm not sure I could pick him out from a line up." Was that obvious enough? He'd been clutching at straws when he thought about it earlier and just hoped he'd see Elizabeth and come running over like a husband should do.

His attention turned to Elizabeth as she sat up and then fell back onto his arm again. Patiently letting her get her words out, he managed a sympathetic look. "If you want to go home, someone needs to go with you." If they couldn't find Jack, would Gavin give him the address or would he take her himself?

Nodding he didn't even question it, knowing that he had only been there a short time. Using his wand again he sent out a patronus to search and find Jack if he was indeed in the ministry. "Easily done, I think it'd be faster with a patronus now that I think of it."

Looking back as Elizabeth attempted to sit up and fell back. "Elizabeth we're not letting you go home alone like this. If it's Jack your worried about I'll take you home to Kat." Yep he wasn't saying no more then that, 'lest Charles find out something he shouldn't.

Elizabeth frowned but nodded a little to Charles, meaning that she understood Charles. Her eyes grew at what Gavin said. Was Gavin really that stupid? Eliza so wanted to smack him for even thinking of bringing her to his PREGNANT wife when Eliza was this sick. She laid there eventually and then summed all of her energy. Elizabeth smacked him across his face and gave him a look that told him what she thought of his dumb idea.

Charles nodded at Gavin's plan B and kept looking at Elizabeth, trying to guess whether she was going to vomit or not. He glanced up at the mention of being worried about Jack and frowned. Why would she be worried about her husband?! He shrugged it off, but his eyes widened when Elizabeth slapped Gavin. Charles gently took her wrist and laid her band back on her stomach. "Elizabeth, as much as you might not like that idea, I don't think wasting your energy is a good idea."

Maybe she was considering his idea. That seriously would be good if she had an issue with Jack... He just stared at her when she slapped him and gave him a look. "I..." WAS THAT EVEN ALLOWED? Grateful for Charles taking her wrist, "Ok, I'm guessing that's not what you want either. There's always Mungo's." Oh dear...yeah that might get another slap. He knew that would get one from Kat anyway.

Elizabeth glanced at Charles and her glare softened then she glanced back at Gavin as he threatened Mungo's. Her glare became even worse and she tried to get her hand away from Charles then all of a sudden she remembered she had two hands so... she mangaged to give Gavin another good slap and a glare that could kill for that idea.

He almost smiled as Elizabeth looked back at him. Almost. Thankfully Gavin took the slap in his stride, but Charles had a feeling his suggestion about Mungo's wouldn't go over too well either. And it seemed it didn't! "Elizabeth!" Surely if she could slap Gavin, she could attempt to speak. He was starting to feel sorry for his department head, no matter how much he disapproved of the man. With a shake of his head, Charles moved her other hand back to her stomach and covered them with his hand so she couldn't slap Gavin again.

"Well it's obvious you aren't wanting Employee of the month..." he muttered to himself, shaking his head. "Ok, obviously Jack's not in the ministry. AND you don't want to go to my place nor Mungo's...Home? Where do you want to go? Charles's? You're not staying here feeling like this, and no matter how many times you slap me you're going to be taken somewhere. Now tell us where you want to go."

Elizabeth manage to form words, "Are you really that dumb, Gavin?" She growled, "Why would I want to put Kat in danger? Are you even thinking?" Eliza snarled, "Just let me go home. I can call my sister or whoever." Elizabeth wasnt too happy with Gavin right now and was even more annoyed now that she felt worse from talking. Her little rant took about another five minutes. Eliza then noticed Charles and his almost smile which caused her to calm down. She kinda pulled him closer... a little at least... not wanting Gavin to explode at her rant.

He almost snorted at Gavin's mutter. He had a feeling Employee of the Month was the last thing on Elizabeth's mind right now. He glanced at the man who'd offered up his flat without asking, but this time he didn't mind because quite frankly, Elizabeth looked like she needed somewhere to crash where she'd have someone to keep an eye on her.

He listened to her rant, only glancing up at Gavin when Elizabeth said something about putting Kat in danger. Why would it put her in danger? He had absolutely no idea. As she practically snarled at the poor man, Charles had to force himself to stay quiet and not try to calm her. He had a feeling she wouldn't take too kindly to that kind of interference. Noting she'd pulled him a little closer, he stared at Gavin, expecting the man to be calm because it obviously wasn't her fault she was like this.

He had no freakin' clue what was going through her head. Was she delirious? Obviously! "Perhaps we need the healer from level 8 to check on her?" he murmured glancing Charles' way. At least she couldn't slap him again though kicking would be possible Oi... Yeah not thinking on those lines...

"You want to go home, fine. But we're not leaving you alone, so whether it's Jack or your sister, someone will be there before we leave." Merlin he hoped she didn't remember any of this, because if she did and didn't say anything he'd be a little bit peeved.

Elizabeth pulled Charles closer, trying to get away from Gavin. She whimpered silently and glanced up at Gavin then to Charles. Her eyes pleaded for Charles to protect her from what she was thinking that was going to happen... with, of course, was that Gavin would snap at her. Eliza closed her eyes and buried her head a little. Her head was spinning and she didnt feel safe.

The look on Charles' face said he agreed with the healer idea, but didn't want to say it out loud because it seemed Elizabeth was not in the mood to hear it. He agreed with staying there until she had someone else to look after her, but they got no response from her except him being pulled closer.

He looked down into her eyes and nearly froze. Ah. Comfort. Right. How did he do that again? He held her closer even though it felt so strange and kind of wrong and then awkwardly said "It's okay, we'll look after you." Was that a good enough attempt, even if it sounded a bit forced?

Elizabeth glanced at Charles and calmed down a little when he pulled her closer. She wiggled a hand from underneath his and grasped at his shirt. Despite being very sick, she had a bit of a grip. Eliza offered a very light smile at him as she nodded for a half of a second before burying her face in his chest. Elizabeth would be extremely embarassed if she found out what she did to Gavin and what she was doing right now.

"Ok, we should get you home." he said quietly. He wasn't going to argue on this point. AND he wasn't going to say a word about how close Elizabeth was getting to Charles. Because he noticed that Charles was starting to look uncomfortable. "I'm assuming you can lift her?" he asked quietly in an undertone so she hopefully wouldn't notice. And two he'd pick her up himself if he knew she'd want him to and not hit him again.
