Emma smiled looking down at her girls. Ella's mouth dropped and she tightened her grip onto her Cinderella doll before whispering to Emily. Emily grabbed onto her sister comforting her before saying, "They are princess, Rapunzel and Cinderella." Emma chuckled like durr. Sometimes her girls were drama queens. "Yes, I am Emma and these are my daughters Ella and Emily." Looking around she made a small smile, "When will I be able to pick them up? Um yes Emily and Ella like to get into trouble they have never harmed any other child before and only hit each other..." Sadly, especially the dolls. "If they do start getting into trouble, I give you permission to take" mouthing the last part so her girls didn't hear, Away the dolls. That would make them behave!

Smiling brightly, "Hello Rapunzel and Cinderella" she said to the dolls "And, a big hello to you Miss Ella and Miss Emily. It's a pleasure to have you here today." Zoe loved how little girls were with their dolls. Caring for them and playing with them. Too cute. "You are welcome to pick the girls up at any time. If it's going to be past Six o'clock, please send a memo and we can stay as late as eight."


Zoe grabbed the clipboard off the wall, "If you will please sign the girls in. This is a magical contract that will only allow you or your approved adult to take the girls from the room. Safety is a high priority for us."

With that taken care of, she turned back to the girls. "We are getting ready to have a snack and read a book. Your dolls are welcome to join us. There are a few empty chairs at the snack table, why don't you both say goodbye to your mum and take a seat."


The snack table had fresh fruits, veggies, and whole wheat crackers to choose from. Along side were pitchers of milk and pumpkin juice. Her fellow day care workers were carefully filling spill proof cups for the kids and handing out napkins for messy hands.

"Do you have any other questions? We do allow a good deal of freedom, but we have strict rules on fighting. I will keep an extra eye on them so hopefully the situation won't even arise where dolls come into play. I'd hate for their first day to be a sad one."

Bradley walked in the Daycare, just to check things out. He figured it was the best idea to get familiar with where he was working. He smiled at all of the children that had already been dropped off. Man, he loved kids. Hence the reason he knew he was going to love his new job. Hopefully he wouldn't have to be treating too many of these little ones anytime soon. Brad smiled and waved lightly at the day care worker. Best to be polite to coworkers.

Hearing someone enter the room, Zoe glanced over and saw the most handsome man she had ever seen. He was more than just handsome, he was dashing. Swoon...he was waving to her.

She quickly jumped to her feet and made her way over, almost skipping to the man. "Hello there, I'm Zoe." Her heart fluttered with excitement and she could feel her hands starting to sweet. She peaked around behind the man, but did not see any children. "No child, so you must either be visiting a child or you are employed in the Specialty Area."

Getting almost dizzy with anticipation of hearing his voice, Zoe let her hand touch the wall to keep her from falling over. What was this? She ever acted this way around men. Never. She was always professional.

Bradley arched an eyebrow at how quickly she'd approached him. At least she seemed to be good at her job. It was best not to let stranger's wander in with the kids. He gave her a giant grin. "Hey Zoe. I'm Brad." He chuckled lightly. "The second one. I'm the Nursery Healer. Just thought I'd come check things out down here."

Brad watched her carefully. There was definitely something going on with her. His eyes drifted to a couple of kids who'd ran past them at a rather quick pace. Hopefully none of them would trip on the toys scattered on the floor.

Brad. His name was Brad. It had to be the most wonderful name she had ever heard. "Hi Brad." She let her hand drift to his in a semi hand hold hand shake, her eyes gazing into his. "Yes, I'm glad you came. Please do come in and look around." And that voice. She knew she could spend hours listening to him talk.

Zoe gestured towards the snack area. "Would you like to sit down and tell me about yourself...I mean what you do for the Ministry?" She could feel her heart fluttering and her stomach was doing flip flops. "I'm new to the Ministry and, so far, I'm loving it. The children are wonderful." She slowly walked towards the snack area, hoping he would follow.

Brad could tell there was something off. Then again, it wasn't the first time a woman had acted like this around him. It just made his smile grow even brighter. His eyes wandered over to the kids playing. "They definitely have a nice little set up here."

Yep. There it was. The slip up that let him know it was him causing her somewhat strange behavior. Bradley followed her, listening as she talked. "Same here. To the new thing. Actually new to this area to begin with. If you couldn't tell by the accent I'm originally from Chicago." He kinda missed his hometown, but it was a good change of pace. "They are aren't they. Main reason I took this job. That and I love being a healer in general."

Oh, that luscious accent. Yes, Chicago. Those Americans had wonderful accents. "A healer. My, that's wonderful. And, a healer for children." She loved children, he loved children. It couldn't have been better. She wondered if would be as wonderful to their children.

Zoe sighed and gazed dreamily into his eyes. Suddenly she jumped up and skipped like a school girl to the cupboard. "Would you like a snack?" She rummaged through the cupboard as she spoke. 'Something American, something American' she thought as she looked. Zoe felt the overwhelming need to give him something. Since all they had was food and slobbery toddler toys, she went for food.

Not satisfied with the selection, and still wanting to give him something, Zoe returned to the table. "How about we sneak out of here and get a bite to eat? My fellow employees have this under control, and no one is in need of a healer right now."

Late back from lunch she was late, not her fault she got caught up with Ferris. Giving a beaming smile to Zoe she sang "helllloooo Zooooeee!!!" she said as she spun into the room. She was back and she was happy. "hellloooo children!" beautiful smiling faces... all of them!

Bradley nodded, a grin spread across his face. "Yeah. I used to help out around the hospital wing at Salem's while I was in school. And that's actually where I worked before moving here." Yeah he loved Salem's, but he really wanted a change of scenery. His love of travel and all that.

Oh god. That was a lovestruck look if Brad had ever seen one. And he had. Plenty of times over his travels. He waved off her suggestion. "I'm fine really." Besides, what more could they have down here besides crackers and juice.

He watched as she rummaged anyways, taking her in. She was pretty cute. Brad was not going to complain about her obvious infatuation with him. At least for the moment. He flashed a smile at her, showing his teeth. "I could go for some food."

"Wonderful!" her eyes bright and her breathing starting to get more and more rapid. "Let's get out of here." She smiled at him and gestured towards the door. As she waited for him to get up from his place at the table, she got a sudden overwhelming urge to eat pizza. Warm gooey cheese with lots and lots of pineapple. Her mouth was watering and she could smell the garlic in the crust.

"How about we go to the Pizza Parlor? It's lunch time, so most of the muggles will be working and we will be able to chat a bit more there." Zoe hoped he would be up for pizza. Mmmm. Pizza. She couldn't stop thinking about how wonderful it was going to be. "Is it hot in here?" She said more as a statement than a question. Her heart was racing and she could feel her fingers start to tingle. Such a strange sensation she had never experienced before.

Brad watched Zoe carefully. Something seemed a little off. Not the infatuation with him, but something he couldn't exactly place his finger on. He stood up, making sure not to step on any of the little ones that might be running by.

"Pizza sounds amazing." Brad's stomach growled in agreeance. He arched an eyebrow in confusion. "No. It's pretty chilly actually." The healer in him clicked on and he was standing next to her in seconds. "Are you feeling all right?" He looked over her, honestly worried.

Giving him a confused look, "I'm feeling wonderful. A bit hungry, but wonderful." Heading towards the door, she waved at her co-workers "Shall we?" She asked as she started out the door.

Rosaline was a skilled mummy, with a toddler on each hip and she was still managing to get around and even open doors. Well, sort of..

"You're going to have fun today, darlings." She spoke softly to her two children, one whom was perfectly content in her arms and happy to lay his head on her shoulder and the other, who was busy looking around and squirming from time to time, until she no longer wanted down, and insisted on being higher up on mummy.

Her husband wasn't so thrilled or pleased with this idea, of putting their children into the daycare at the Ministry while she worked - regardless of the fact she could check up on them, and wouldn't be too far at any given time. He protested, and she insisted it would be a good thing for them. Their older kids were already into their schooling, and Misty, well, Rosaline allowed Remmy to keep her. She was a bit too small still.

Daddy needed a break though, whether he would admit it or not.

"And you're going to be on your best behavior, both of you. I know you will." Of course they would. They were only babies, after all. Her babies. Perfect little angels.. or something.

At last, they entered the room in one piece (each). Rosaline's brown eyes wandered the white walls, and colorful toys, taking in how child friendly the place looked. "Hello?" Rosaline wasn't entirely sure who worked for the daycare, and who was merely a parent dropping off or picking up. While planning on patiently waiting, Rosa felt one of her sides being tugged down and helped her daughter slide down carefully, keeping a hold on her hand.

Zoe was happily helping a group of toddlers color flowers to take to the nice shopkeeper at Diagon Alley that donated all of their new books. She let the children pick out the colors, although some looked more plant like than others. Just as she was about to set aside a few more, she noticed a woman enter the day care with two darling children. "Alright, children, I'm going to help our new friends. Miss Athena will help you until I come back."

"Hello there" she greeted as she made her way to the door. "Welcome to the Ministry Day Care, I'm Miss Zoe." She brightly smiled at the three. "Is this your first time with us?"

Harmony was happily tugging at her mother's hand to go this way and then that way, though her mother never budged, she didn't seem to notice or mind too much, busy being a nosey toddler and all.

As a woman approached, Rosaline offered a smile and shifted her son on her hip, careful to keep her arm secured around him. Thank Merlin she hadn't brought Misty as well. "Hello, Miss Zoe," Rosa greeted in return, and that was as much as she could do, with one hand holding up her son, and the other maneuvering her daughter closer as she tried to wander. "Why yes, it is." And Remington wasn't at all happy with her about it, either. That didn't change her decision, nor remove the smile on her lips. This was going to be a GOOD thing. "This probably sounds silly, but.. how does this work? The day care, I mean. Is there paperwork I need to fill out? Facts to know?" Anything? Before she could start asking questions of her own, of course.

Zoe watched as the cute little boy clung to his mamas side and the little girl pulled this way and that. They were both going to be a welcome addition to the group. "It's so nice to have you" she said to the little ones. She always wanted to be sure to make the children feel special. Speaking to them early on always seemed to help.

"All you need to do is sign the children in, this will allow only you and anyone approved by you to leave the room with the kids." She pulled the quill off the clipboard and pointed to where they would be signed in. "We will take care of snacks and lunch, and an evening snack if you need to work late." Zoe gestured towards the kitchen area of the room. "Only healthy snacks are provided. Although, we do allow cookies after lunch on Fridays." Keeping snacks healthy was also priority to her. She knew all too well that filling little tummys with junk created fussy, hyper kids.

"You are welcome to pick them up as late as 6:00. If you need to work late, we ask that you send a memo to the day care no later than 4:00. I, or one of my coworkers, will be able to stay up to two hours later." Realizing she was giving a bunch of information all at once, Zoe paused. "Would you like for me to hold your little guy while you sign them in? I'm also happy to answer any questions."

Zoe looked back to the little girl, "What's your name? We are coloring flowers today, would you like to color with us?"

Rosa smiled wider when the woman running the day care spoke to her children. She hoped she didn't mind not getting a response from the little boy on her hip, because he was just like his daddy - quiet as ever.

The thirty-nine year old nearly let go of her daughter's hand as the toddler twirled at her feet, while her mummy was busy listening to the nice woman in front of them. Rosa nodded here and there, but mostily remained quiet as she listened. She followed Miss Zoe's gesture toward the kitchen, brown eyes taking in the room in general. "That sounds wonderful." Healthy snacks and all. Healthy snacks, healthy bodies. Rosa had no complaints.

"Hopefully that won't be necessary too often.. but I do work in the MLE department." Rosaline said, making a mental note of the day care hours. Perhaps she could have Remington pick up the kids if she had to work later than normal. She was offering to take little Remmy? "If he doesn't fuss too much that would be great," muchly appreciated, too. Rosa bounced her small son lightly before shifting him toward Miss Zoe. Be a good boy?

Questions. She most definitely had some of those. "Is it possible to add other pick-up contacts later?" In case she decided it was wise to add Grandma and Grandpa Foxx, on the off chance Remmy wouldn't be able to make it.

Harmony was gazing off at things in the room when Miss Zoe said something, and the little girl turned to look at her. She had red hair like mummy! And Melo! "Harmony." The toddler said, when asked her name. She said it all clear, too! Harmony gave a cute little smile, before adding, "I'm this many!" and held up three fingers. Flowers? "Yes pleeeease!" Harmony said and hop hop'd, even though her mummy still had her hand.

Zoe was always glad when the parents supported the healthy snacks and lunch. It was rare, but she did sometimes run into problems with it. "No need to worry, we want to be available when you need us. Special cases do arise and we are ready to accommodate." She smiled at the little boy as she reached her arms out to take him. Giving him a snuggle, she looked into his handsome little face "Hi there, big guy."

She handed the clipboard over so both hands could love on the boy and Rosaline could fill out the information. "You are welcome to list any additional caregivers that you approved to pick up the kids, or you may add others at a later date." Realizing Remmy had a giant handful of her long, pomegranate colored hair, she gently reached over and fiddled with his little hand until he released her locks.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Harmony." She saw the girl hold up three fingers. "Wow, three years old already! You are a little lady now, aren't you. If it's okay with your mum, you are welcome to go to the craft table and start on a flower."

Knowing this was their first day, which is always harder on mum than the kids, Zoe wanted to make sure to make everyone feel welcome. "We eat lunch at noon. Parents are always welcome to join us." She smiled at the sweet boy again. "We are also happy to have paretns drop in at any time during the day. We have an open door policy."

Early in the morning, Josh Carter walked in the daycare place carrying one of his twin sons, Ryder. Evelyn had to be there in a minute or so with Hunter so until she came, he decided to have a look baby. Carrying the only a few months old baby, he walked around the place as if he was inspecting it. He was a overly protective father after all and he had to be sure if it was safe to drop his sons here while he and Evelyn worked.

He gently stroked Ryder's head as he walked about in the daycare. The place seemed to be clean and colorful. He liked that. And everything seemed suitable for children. Not that he knew about what exactly was suitable for children or babies, probably the people who worked here knew better. They were professionals, he supposed, still he had to have a good look so he would not be worrying about anything while he worked. Being an Auror, distractions during work could result in danger for him and he could not die or get maimed yet as he had two baby boys to look after.

Okay, that was too dramatic.

Where was Evelyn? She had to save him from the dramatic mood.

Having been slightly caught up the moment she first stepped into the Ministry, and completely losing Josh in the process, Evelyn hurried as much as possible with one of her twin sons, Hunter, over to the daycare center. Keeping most of her attention on the baby though. The loudness of the place had him wide awake, and she wanted to make sure no crying fits were going to start. She had a meeting this morning and couldn't be held up for too long. So far so good though.

Spying the considerably white daycare place, Evelyn raised an eyebrow, almost coming to a complete stop. No, no. She'd told herself to really look at the place before making a decision on it. White was untrustworthy decent. Nice looking. Clean. Clean was good. Though since the twins weren't really old enough to be wandering around, she wanted to know what the PEOPLE were like. Speaking of twins, there was Ryder with Josh.

"Sorry." she muttered in a hushed tone, walking up to the auror's side. "Got caught up with things. Meet any of the workers yet?"

Dramatic...

Did the baby look dramatic too? Josh looked into his little dark brown eyes with his own. He was not about to start a cry, was he? Oh, please, not before Evelyn came around. Maybe it was just him but it felt like his mother was Ryder's favourite. So maybe he wanted her.

Well no...the young man could see no tears. The baby was just staring back at him. ''You like this place?'' Josh asked indicating the daycare room with an arm while holding the baby gently with the other. ''I think, as your daddy, it does not look bad at all. I am afraid you and Hunter will need to stay there until it is time for me or mommy...'' he did not know how Evelyn would react to being called mommy ''...to go back home. Once we are back home; Hunter, you and i can play with the toy horses. Okay?'' he stared at the baby's face.

''Okay?'' he repeated

*blink*

The baby was just staring at him. ''You did not understand a word, did you?''

Anyway...Evelyn was here. ''Hey...'' he turned to his girlfriend with a small smile. ''No problem. Ryder and i were just checking the place. And no, i have not seen anyone yet.'' There were people who worked here, right? He looked around again. ''What do you think?''

Evelyn now completely understood why parents would get all worked up over how 'cute' their children were and do silly things because of it. Though she, unlike them, had more control. Mostly. Soooo, she instead smiled and wiggled her finger at Ryder before really looking around the place. He'd seen no one yet. How unfortunate.

"Really?" Huff! "You'd think, being a daycare center, one would have someone supervising at all times." Strike one. Though not wanting to entirely shoot down the idea of leaving their kids here, since they had to leave them SOMEplace, the young woman shook her head slightly and shrugged up her shoulders somewhat.

"I don't know yet. What about you? Any bad vibes or anything...?"

Brad made his way into the daycare. No one was sick or anything. Plus he wanted to know if Athena or Zoe was working this shift with him. Not like it mattered. He liked both of the women just fine.

He entered to see that there was a couple with babies kind of just standing there...and no Zoe or Athena in sight. He worked here too right? Might as well help the couple out. Especially since the woman looked like she was about to freak out any moment.

"I'm Bradley Donovan. One of the healers here. Can I help you?"

Yeah...she was right. Where were the people who worked here? They did not leave like this when there were kids to watch, did they? He supposed they would not call this a daycare place if they did that anyway. The young man looked around around just to check if he had any bad vibes around the place like Evelyn asked. Hmmm...except the workers not being around, he did not see anything negative with the place.

''I don't know. It seems okay.'' And at that very moment, the baby burped and there was something, which he thought had just come from the baby's mouth, on his shirt. ''Merlin, Ryder. What did you do that? Do you really hate me? I have to see my boss after this. What did i do to deserve that?'' The baby was just staring at him. Josh sighed. ''Anyway, it is okay. Don't worry.''

Then there was a worker. Josh stared at the dude as he approached. He was a worker right? He was dressed like a doctor or healer or something but anyway, he was a worker here. ''Morning Bradley.'' Josh said with a small smile. ''Joshua Carter, auror and this is...'' he indicated Evelyn carefully while holding the baby. ''...Evelyn Flores, unspeakable. And the cute babies are our sons, Hunter and Ryder.'' He did not know all the introduction was necessary yet he did not want to be rude. Being friendly was always good. He tended to be a friendly person anyway. ''We would like to get information about the services here and i guess Hunter and Ryder will stay here a bit.''
