Alas, he was rather kind in asking if she needed to see someone. Opened up certain doors. "I do...actually." she nodded, glancing down to her watch. Mmhmm.

Heh. Seren did that too. The whole looking at your watch to emphasize that you didn't want to wait for something. Had this been someone he knew he would have tried to sap the situation a bit and drag out the process, but seeing as this was some young person who he didn't know. He could be a prat at times, but he wasn't heartless. "If you just fill out the visitor form on the desk and make yourself a name tag I can take you to the office," he offered. He had seen it done before, shouldn't be a big deal, right?

"Oh, thank you so much." she smiled as she stood, walking over to the supposed form. Forms and name tags. Alas, another reason to not like this place. Placing the tag on the lower portion of her shirt, Evelyn turned and beamed a little to the man.

This right there is why he never became a teacher - despite Seren telling him that he would do a decent job at it. Thanks but no thanks. Not that collecting drool from people was something he ever thought he would be doing. Oh well. "Right, well, just follow me this way then," he said with a firm head nod towards the door as he step towards it himself. He would just bring her by the Auror office and then head over to his desk so he could...look at these gnawed on wands.

Skander wandered into the Reception and Waiting Area, attempting to remain unseen by the others in the room. They had been arresting some people from what he could tell. But he didn't want to be arrested, he wanted to get to the delicious wands.

Sneaking over to the wand case Skander picked up one of the delicious looking wands and opened his mouth in preparation for eating it. Looking around Skander quickly shoved the wand inside and chewed. It was as delicious as it looked.

While Roxanne was wrestling with her zombie, she thought she caught movement out the corner of her eye. Turning her head to look, she spotted someone at back at the wands. A zombie someone. Skander. Well, here it went. She carefully took aim, and "Incarcerous!" She pulled the other zombie behind her, she walked over to Skander grabbed one of the ropes. "I'm really sorry about this."

Dacs dragged herself to level two only to find Roxanne apprehending someone. "Looks like you have been having a good day." she said to her as she walked by her. After gather evidence of every food type in Ministry Cafeteria, Dacs just wanted to sit at her desk and think.

"Keep up the good work of not getting bitten and staying out of my way." she said quietly to the woman as she slowly made her way to the offices.

Ba.... if you called catching one of your coworkers being a zombie and another coworker shoving his girlfriend in your face and being useless in general a good day, then yes, she was having an excellent one. Remind her again why she'd transferred over here in the first place? Because at this point, Roxanne was having trouble remembering. Surely whatever it was couldn't be as bad as THIS. She just grunted in return and continued to pull both her zombies behind her.

Ooo, cool! This had been one of the other departments Cora knew about that she wouldn't have minded being placed it, so it was pretty cool that she would still get to work with the people on this level and everything even though she was part of the A&C department. Funny how it all worked out.

And since she had a relatively good awareness of some of the things the level two department did, Cora didn't feel like she had any pressing questions that needed to be answered. "Nope, no questions from me again." So now to go to their own department now, right? Woot!

Alicia was in shock as she made her way to the MLE - it had been a long while since she had visited and she was really excited to be back. Well, actually she was excited to drop off the cupcakes she had made. Boredom did not suit her.

She took one of the many boxes of cupcakes on the desk.

Some were just ridiculous in size.

Really she was just being nice...and she wanted to ask how her niece was doing - and to ask if she could snag Jaxton for lunch later. And really she was just feeling a little awkward lately. She needed to tell him now.

Within seconds, Jade found herself coming out of the turn-warp of the apparition to once again be on solid ground. She smiled a small smile as she saw that she was standing exactly where she had pictured herself to be-- in front of the reception desk where Muriel, the MLE receptionist, sat. To her left, Jade knew that there was the door that lead to the work stations of the various MLE personnel.

Nodding a hello to Muriel and motioning that she was busy and could not stop to chat, Jade wasted no time in reforming in her mind's eye the layout of the Apparition Practical Exam room which was basically a wide open space. She focused her attention to apparate to the same spot from which she left--standing next to the round circle of rainbow colors.

Once she was confident that she could see the spot fully in her mind, Jade focused her magic and once again leaned into the turn-warp of her apparition and disappeared from the reception with a loud CRACK!

It had been a while since she'd been up on level 2. There had been a reason why she didn't want come up here. Not having been stuck up here for so long. But it was her day off today, and she figured she may could pop and see her husband. Knowing Wesley he probably wouldn't be home till late, and therefore wouldn't see the twins. Something which did kind of annoy Isobel. But Wes loved his work, and she knew there wasn't anything she could do about it really.

"Gonna see daddy?" She asked, leaving the boys pushchair by the reception area of two, figuring that it'd be easier for them to just walk. Taking them both out of the pushchair, she held onto their hands, walking further into level 2.

Emily was on a roll.. only thing is, she was missing something. Something very dear to her... coffee! And with no YATI's available at the time, she wandered to the reception and waiting area to find some herself.

Her face split into a huge smile at the sight of MLE's visitors. The twins!
"Hey guys!" she greeted warmly, with a hint of a kiddy sing-song tone in her voice.
"Looking good Logan, keeping out of trouble Scott?" She asked the twins as she ruffled their hair gently, before smoothing it back into place.
It was amazing how Izzy's kids had changed her. "How are you? Visiting Wes?" she asked her friend, arm outstretched for a hug.

A big smile spread onto Isobel's lips as she saw her good friend come around the corner. This had been another of the reason why she had come up to the level. he felt as if she hadn't seen her friends for so long. "Hey Em..." The blonde smiled, tilting her head to the side a little as she watched her friend interact with her babies. The boys were pretty used to the auror, letting go of their mum's hands to hug her legs.

"They haven't forgotten you...." She mused with a smile. She was glad they hadn't. Emily was awesome and she wanted her kids to know that. "Yeah." She nodded, leaning forward to hug her friend. "And see some old friends."

Sydney was tired, and his look certainly didn't help this feeling he constantly had. The bags under his eyes were a permanent feature of his.
As he entered into the Reception area he spotted two women and children...Children?
He neared the two ladies giving them a nod, then smiled creepily at the tots. He was very good with kids, he had one himself. She was in her early twenties and hated him now, but that wasn't important. He took a chair that wasn't far from where they were standing and played with with the cuffs on his sleeves. "Excuse me, I hate intruding like this but if one of you could point me to your Department Head's office." He had very important business to attend to, he crossed his legs and leaned back into the seat. Time was of the essence, but there's never anything wrong with a two minute power nap. 'Yawn'

Wes had been meaning to get out to the reception area for a while now, but had been deterred by all these meetings about promotions and payraises and the like. What he really needed was a break... or a secretary... but a small break would do for now.

"Hey, Izzy," he called out as he approached their waiting area. "Logan! Scott!" He held out his arms and waited for the toddlers to come his way. In the meanwhile... he eyed the man apparently sleeping in a chair with some suspicion. Uh. "Emily," he nodded to the Auror, "who's that?"

Don't ask why he thought Emily might know him. She just... knew things.

GAAHHH!!... despite not liking kids, Emily LOVED Izzy's. They were just too cute. Far too cute. "They grow so fast," she marveled to her friend. And no, they hadn't forgotten her. GOOD! Or else she'd have to pull out all the stops and spoil them rotten!... Not that it wasn't already on her list of things to do already.
"Well it's so good to see you again," it really was. Between work and family time and more work, they hardly saw each other. "Say, are you doing anything on the weekend? Did you want to hang out..." or something. Like old times.

Footsteps alerted her to the presence of another person... one she didn't recognise.



Emily arched an eyebrow. The strange dude wanted to see Wes? ...

Did he have an appointment? ... And what was with the short attention span? Sleep time was it?

At any rate, was Wes expecting him? ....



As she was about to reply to the strange visitor, Emily was saved...? saved? ... by Wes' sudden appearance. He was good like that. Turned up, just in time. She shrugged. "Beats me.. but he's looking for you." And that, she knew for a fact.

"They really do..." Isobel sighed, looking down at her little boys. She could've sworn that they had grown so so much when she'd been locked away in quarantine. She was just go glad to be out of there now so that she could see her little boys grow up. She was never going to miss any of there lives anymore. She had promised that to them, even though they were a little too young to understand her. "They'll be talking soon..." She mused with a little smile. Then they would be in trouble, especially if the boys turned out of be anything like their father

"I'm free...." She murmured, though her attention was taking from Emily as the strange man came along. "Logan, Scott..." She murmured, wanting her boys to come closer, as they had moved away a little. They seemed to know level 2 pretty well considering they were only a year and a half old. They certainly knew where their father would be. "Come back here darlings..." Because she didn't want them going near that man. He looked a little odd.

Turned out they would be bumping into their father away. Something they realized as they heard his voice, turned around, and ran over to him. Or attempted to run at least. She smiled as she watched them. "Hi dear." What a lovely surprise.

He opened one eye when he was finally addressed. He uncrossed his legs and stood up when a gentleman entered the area, and the one lady said that he was looking for him. He held back from walking up to the man as he seemed occupied now with the two children that the other lady wanted to keep their distance from him.
He'd respect that by staying his distance from the tots, but he was in a hurry. He pulled out a pocket watch from his slacks, and noticed his two minute power nap ended up being three minutes. Three minutes! The lady was going to have to be uneasy, Sydney was to speak with this man. He took only one step forward and put away his pocket watch, "You're the Magical Law Enforcement's Department Head then? I would like to discuss with you a certain captive you've holed up here."
He'd have been here sooner, but his previous case had him tied up. His client had to wait, She'd understand his lateness.

"Hi honey," Wes scooped up the boys, one in each arm, easy, and made his way over to his wife. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and turned around, ignoring the giggling and squealing of the little boys as they kicked their tiny legs and flicked at his ears with their tiny hands. He had a visitor, huh? Wes' eyes flicked to Emily and he gave her a nod of thanks.

All right, strange dude, we'll talk to you. "Right then," he walked straight up to the man and made eye contact, "you must be the bloke de Talone hired. She's this way, in the holding cells." Hardly holed up if you asked him.

Wes led the way to the cells, toddlers in hand still, without another word.

Adam approached the waiting and reception area for the Magical Law Enforcement Department slightly nervous. After all he was flying solo to introduce himself, and this department had been very highly spoken of in the states. Granted, Adam knew how good the department was from everything that he had heard about it at Hogwarts, but still. Hearing about it, and then actually meeting someone from it, were two entirely different things.

Adam spotted an open chair and walked towards it, not really wanting to sit down for fear that he would sit just as Mr. Ferguson entered to meet him, and that would just be awkward. So instead Adam stood there in his suit, adjusting his tie slightly as he waited for Mr. Ferguson to arrive.

Wes returned from the holding cells considerably less happy than he had been when he gone to them. He was trying not to scowl, since his boys were still in his arms and were still watching everything he did with great interest, but he was feeling rather short-tempered all of a sudden.

He probably needed some lunch. "Izzy," Wes called out as he got closer to his wife, "I think the boys should probably go home for the rest of the day." There too many untrustworthy weirdos around here. Wes was going to need to speak to security ASAP. Sigh.

Oh what was this, another creeper? Wes' gaze narrowed on yet another visitor to his floor. At least this one was younger and less.... odd-acting, so far. And he was wearing a tie, so he was probably all right. Still, Wes approached him with some mistrust.

"Can I help you?" the department head barked.

Adam looked up at the sound of approaching steps, and smiled slightly as who he assumed was Mr. Ferguson coming towards him. Well he didn't particularly seem too warm and fuzzy but Adam wasn't going to take that personally. After all the people that he had worked with at the Magical Law Enforcement Department back in the states hadn't really been all that friendly, so perhaps it was an unspoken requirement of the job. Or perhaps the guy was just having a bad day. Either way, he was about to be addressed and Adam needed to be ready.

"Hi, my name is Adam Fitzgerald from the International Cooperation Department. I'm new, and Mr. Higareda asked that I come and introduce myself to you since I'm going to be working as a Security Council Member, and I spent some time training to become an auror at the Ministry in the states," Adam said with a smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Ferguson." Adam made a move to extend his hand but seeing that his hands were full with children he figured a hand shake was probably not going to happen at the moment.

Talking soon! Emily beamed... now that, would be a lot of fun. And she definitely knew which words she wanted to help teach the twins.. 'I didn't do it' and 'I want food'... those words just made life easier.
"Fantastic, your place? mine? elsewhere?" she asked, as Iz mentioned she was free. A good catch up was in order, because there was lots to tell and lots to hear as well.

Eyes following the twins, Emily watched as Wes and the man exchanged words... and Wes went to sort him and De Talone out.

... ugh.

Still, surely the whole saga would be over in time.
Emily was conscious of the fact that her tea break was almost up, and still no coffee in her hands, perhaps she would have to find a YATI to fulfill her needs after all.
