Violet walked into the work room giving warm smiles to her fellow co-workers as she passed their desks. She had received word about her first assignment and to be quite honest Violet felt like a little kid on Christmas. Developing charms was honestly one of her favorite things to do and she was looking forward to it. Spotting Gabi sitting at her desk...at least that's what she heard their department head's name was...Violet walked over to her.

"Hello," Violet said warmly. "I believe that I am to work on developing a charm with you?"

Gabi looked up and smiled. There was her fellow Charms Developer! "Yup, that's me...here, have a seat," she said, taking out her wand and pointing it at a nearby desk chair that lay abandoned next to her desk. She flicked her wrist and the chair pulled itself up behind the woman so she could sit down.

"So, I'm Gabriela, and you are...?" she asked politely, figuring introductions were the best place to start here.

Violet gave the woman a warm smile, taking a seat on the chair the woman had just conjured over before pulling out her own wand and laying it on top of her crossed legs. "Thank you for the chair, and it's nice to meet you Gabriela, my name is Violet," Violet said, extending her hand towards the woman to shake. Violet was keeping her usual calm and relaxed demeanor but she had to admit that she was quite excited to get working on charms.

Chasing after it some more, Maine sent a silent confringo in the direction of the hopping desk lamp. Crazy little thing. Shaking her head, she watched as the roped bound it tightly and seemed to slow its moovements a bit.

"Immobulus," she muttered with her wand in the general direction of the lamp. And it stopped moving long enough for her to bring it back to her desk. Focusing her mind, she breathed in deeply andfocused her magic through her veins. Sending a stream of violet light out her left palm and towards the lamp, she cast the most powerful unraveling enchantment she could remember from university.

Opening her eyes just a crack, she untied the lamp. Seeing it sitting dumbly, she beamed widely before bouncing in place. "I did it!" she grinned, jumping into the air. Hugging the first person she could find, she made her way towards the other ones. Now to make them all quiet.

Suddenly a loud noise was heard in the experimental team's area. * Whoosh, wham......"what what. Where am I!!!! "
"Oh dear! *Shouldn't have ....oh oh...petrified total us, obliviate!!"

CADET7 lowered her wand. *The cricket player she had accidentally apparated stood stiff as a statue, smiling oddly, but apparently quite comfortably resolved to wait.

CADET7 looked around at her co-workers and gave a slight shrug. *"I guess I should explain. When I came in this morning I was carrying some of the 76-0122 potion in a coffee cup. *I used the Starbuck's ever warm cups because your coffee always stays the right temperature for your beverage of choice, and I need to keep 76-0122 at exactly 29degrees Celsius. Well, when I was walking past the flower planter next to the chimney, awaiting my time to enter the ministry, this young man"--as she points to the man standing slightly off kilter in front of her..."bumped into me and I spilled the tiniest bit of the potion onto his hand. *Than, as I was working on my project plan for the next set of trials, I was repeating the spell as I wrote. *I guess I was thinking about this young man as I was writing"
CADET7 looked at the still figure, dressed in whites and pads, swinging a cricket bat. *
"looks like he was at bat too. *Hope I didn't disrupt the game too much. *Now, let me see if I can return him without too much problem."
CADET7 looked at her notes piled high on the desk. *As she dug around in the piles of papers on her desk, her scrabbling disturbed the cup at the edge of the table.

Kyrian Hunter walked into the room and spied the red colored area. That's where he belonged as he was the newest member of the Magic reversal squad. A junior agent. His new, nice, but comfortable work robes flapped around his feet as he headed that work area. Not many people about. Maybe it was lunch time? He was kind of nervous and he ran one hand over his black faux hawk hair. His pale blue eyes saw an empty chair so he headed toward it. Perhaps he would run into a coworker en route to said chair.

Maine reentered the work area, her brown hair in her eyes and a bag slung across one shoulder. She'd been having lunch at the Muggle cafe downstairs as she always did, and now that she was full, was was just going to get to work on a little paperwork or maybe try to figure out how to fix the tap dancing teapot.

A little preoccupied, she walked right into someone, causing her to stagger a little backwards, Blushing slightly, she smiled. "Sorry about that," she said sheepishly, shrugging.

He turned and threw his hands out to settle himself and her in case she fell. He smiled at her, "It's alright. I was just in the way so it's my fault." His southern drawl rolled though his words. He offered his hand to her, " I'm Kyrian Hunter. It's my first day here." His pale blue eyes glanced around. "I'm supposed to be a Junior Reversal Agent."

Maine steadied herself, shifting her weight backwards so that she didn't fall. "It isn't," she smiled. "I have a tendency to knock into everything..."

Taking his hand for a brief shake, she nodded. "Charmayne LeBlanc," she said, before releasing his hand. "Junior Task Force Agent," she smiled. "Welcome to Level 3. Division 2 is over there," she smiled, gesturing with her head to a cluster of red workspaces.

"Good luck," she bid before sitting down at her desk and eyeing the teapot that sat there.

He smiled, "Nice to meet you as well" as she went to her own desk he moved toward the red space she motioned too. He was the only one in that section at the moment and he sighed, so much for getting to meet new collegues. Kyrian sat in an empty cubicle space, nothing even decorated the walls in the tiny area. He was definatley going to bring something from home. Maybe even a plant? Of a picture of him and his little brother. He pondered for a while on how to spruce up his workspace.

Ashley walked over to the red area of the office and sat down at her desk, placing her tea down carefully. Pulling out her wand, she began watering the plant that took up most of the right side of her desk. "There you go, little one. Drink up." Setting her wand down again, the blonde noticed a new face. Standing, she walked over to the man, a small smile on her face. "Not quite homey yet, is it?" She asked, commenting on his work space. "It helps to bring in pictures and other reminders from home." Though maybe he had already planned on doing that. "I'm Ashley, by the way, Ashley Green." Holding out her hand, she tilted her head sideways to study they man she was talking to. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around at all."

He rose, taking her hand in his and shaking it before releasing it, "Hi Ashley, I am Kyrian Hunter." He took notice of her nice work space, "Yes I am new, this is my first day as a Junior Reversal Agent. You're right! This place is drab, I was just thinking of ways to make it more pleasant." She seemed nice, he was glad more co-workers were filing in so he could meet them. "I like your plant. Have you worked here long?"

"It's nice to meet you, Kyrian." She said sincerely. A newbie, huh? That was nice. Ashley liked meeting new coworkers, especially because she was still pretty new around here too. "I'm sure you'll have it looking homey in no time." She said reassuringly, a small smile on her face. "Thanks, I got it from the last department head." Which had been a very nice gesture. At his question, she shook her head. "I've actually only been here a year so I'm still pretty new." Which meant that making friends here was still something she very much wanted. Work wasn't much fun without having allies in the trenches with her.

Althea had of course led the way. It was her nature to do so, despite technically being showed around by Gabriela and Charmayne. She stood just inside the door way, hands on hips as she took in the work areas and waited for the two women to follow. Hmmm.

Hmmmm.

Gabi power-walked after Althea, who'd led the way in to the work area even though she was receiving the tour. Maybe this was a test...she wanted to see how much they really knew about the place they worked. Well, in that case, challenge accepted!

Moving aside so that everyone could make it through the door without a traffic jam occurring, she smiled at the Department Head and then held out an arm like a game show host showing off prizes. "Well, here it is--Accidents and Catastrophes," she said with a smile. "The main work area is organized by department, which can be identified by the different color dividers," she explained. Experimental Charms had gotten the best color, obviously. PURPLE!

Maine followed briskly slightly behind the two women who to her seemed to be competing in the 'who has the most confidence' comptetition. She wouldn't say that out loud, she wasn't insane yet.

Beaming at Gabi, Maine continued from what she'd started with. "The blue section over there houses the Office of Misinformation and the red is the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad."

Did Gabi want to continue?

"I see." Althea commented, looking out over the desks and taking note of the colour coding. Really, were they all twelve years old?

She smiled at Gabi and then at Charmayne and then walked further into the office area, taking note of the decor (which seemed.... a little shabby) and of the... well the distinct lack of facilities and usable space. That cluster there for instance, rearranging it and providing a small round table as a focal point, and that one really needed some filing cabinets at hand.

And the charms on the work area, they felt... loose. They grated on her senses. Not necessarily sloppy work but certainly a while since they'd been renewed.

The carpet, she noted, was worn from trekking in and out. You could see where the main thoroughfares were. Thea made a mental note to deal with that too.

She looked back at the two woman expectantly. Yes? Was there more to be said about the work areas?

Brad opened the door to the office for the first time in how long? weeks for sure. He paused as he took his first step into the room and looked around. He'd missed this place but he couldn't have helped his sister getting sick and him having to take time off for her. A small smile spread across his face as he looked around the large room at the people he both knew and didn't know.

He took more steps into the room and headed towards his desk, there he found a little note. Pausing he took in it's colour, shape and size before slowly picking it up. Unfolding it he found his first assignment since being back, with a smile he read it....Finishing it he put it down deep in thought. So he was to find a charm to prevent frost on plants, hm. Deep in through still he took his seat and pulled a piece of parchment and quill towards him ready to take any note he could think of as a starting point.

Aside from the fancy color dividers (which didn't seem to perk Althea's interest at all, Gabi noticed) there really wasn't much more to say about the work areas. The name was pretty self explanatory. This was where they did WORK.

"Each worker has their own little desk and cubicle area in each division, and so far we've all sort of stayed in this area when it comes to testing new charms or working on tasks. Nothing has required us to find an area with bigger space so far," she explained. Obviously if they were going to be testing explosive spells or something, they'd have to go outside to do that. Nothing like that had been assigned to them yet, sadly. SIGH.

"Mmmm. I've taken the liberty to have the training area adjusted to better suit spell trials and experimentation. Likewise, a lab will be provided soon enough." Extension charms were wonderful, weren't they? Assuming one knew how to correctly apply them to buildings. Which she did, obviously. "Hopefully you'll find some use in the new facilities." She smiled at Gabi then and added, "I'll be trying to find some time myself, for experimentation and the like. Its been a while since I've been able to do my own research." But that would come second to restoring the department.

She walked further into the work areas, passing by the desks and taking note of what was on them, and too of what people were up to and how on task they were.

Oh good. Someone hard at work already. Now that Althea approved of. She approached.

"What are you working on, if you don't mind my asking?" There were any number of tasks which she'd released on assignment, she wouldn't know which it was until the man said.

Bradley looked up from his empty sheet of parchment at the sound of someone's voice near his ear. Seeing it was Althea he smiled and laid down his quill. With a dismal glance at the parchment he opened his mouth and spoke.

"I'm going to try and find a charm to prevent frost on plants" He said calmly with a small smile. He looked up for approval.

"Oh good, I was hoping someone would jump on that one soon. I'm glad it landed on your desk. I suggest visiting the Environmental Department; Rafael knows someone might be heading down there to pick the brains of his experts. The winter has been tough on some of those rare magical plants, not indoors of course, but those in the wild." She winked. "They'll owe us one if you can crack it."

Bradley nodded his head and let his quill fall to the desk, he was secretly glad to have some advice on making a head start on this. If he hadn't he knew he'd had been sitting at his desk for god knows how long writing down nothings all day. Sigh. "Right you are" He said with a smile as he scraped back his chair and stood up, "I wont be long. Wish me luck" He added with a wink and turned to walk out of the room.

Okay so he'd never really been on level three that often, especially recently due to the turn-over of heads but Armen Recard made the journey today for something, no someone, important.

Exiting the lift and sending the usual glance towards the level's receptionist as if to say, why are you even needed, the man made he way into the Accidents work area and over to Gabi's cubicle setting his arms on the edge of the short wall.

"Good morning Miss. Schultz." he said laying his chin on his crossed arms, grinning at her. She made him want to be silly, like no one had in a long time.

Gabi had to admit, she had gotten just a BIT too used to not doing...well, anything...on the job for quite some time and was finding the transition to the new department head just a teensy bit harder than she'd anticipated. For example, right now she had a few reports to fill out but she knew they would only take her like, five seconds, so she was reading Witch Weekly instead. They had a new article on new magical no-smudge eyeliner, she simply couldn't miss it!

She peered over the top of her magazine when she heard someone approach her, and her face immediately lit up when she saw it was Armen. EEP ARMEN!! The last time she'd spoken to him was at the tattoo parlour opening, when they'd sort of awkwardly admitted their affections for one another...at least, she was pretty sure what had happened, she'd been so embarrassed and flustered that part of the day had been practically obliviated from her memory.

"Armen! What brings you up here today?" she asked. Usually he didn't come by unless he had gopher stuff to do, but that was a thing of the past now that he was a man of power again. Which was exactly where he should have been all along!
