Isobel folded her arms, clearly not impressed. She didn't have the foggiest what Wes was going on about. She was fine, just not very happy with her husband. Didn't he know she had work to be getting on with? She needed to see who had left that potion going, because she was going to find out who had made one of her rooms go boom. It was not fun to get cleaned up. She tapped her fingers on her arm, still not looking happy. "I asked for my wand back Franklin." She murmured. He should've known he was in trouble. She hardly ever used his official first name, and that was only when he was in trouble. He was going to end up with an angry wife if he didn't help it.

She frowned as he shoved something into her mouth, and then pulled it back out again. "What on earth was that for Ferguson?" She yelled, probably a little louder than she had intended. Her tone was very angry, even if now she looked pretty calm. "Could've at least asked." She growled, her arms tightened even more. She was looking pretty annoyed now though. Wes was not going to have a fun time at home anymore.

Wait? She had to go up to level 2? She looked up at him, confused. "I can't come visit Wes..." She murmured, shaking her head. "I have work to do."

He waited and looked at the Minister for a response to that but he just gave him the look.

He was a bit startled when the Senior Undersecretary tapped him in the shoulder with a compliment.

He turned and looked at Amoroso and asked, "Are we really not supposed to inform the Head of St. Mungo's about this? And also, we need a media blackout on the matter because we do not want panic to strike the Ministry."

Hmmmph. The Minister was giving her one of those looks. One of those ... man!looks. Not the sort that would cause drama in their respective relationships, rather one of those ones where he was CLEARLY judging her. CLEARLY. Probably WOULDN'T if she were a man. Wouldn't think twice even. Well done? Did she get a gold star too? Pshh. When he responded to her, she quickly assessed his words for any sort of patronizing tone and decided that it came up clean enough... this time. But hey, at least he seemed to catch her drift about the Obliviators. A small smile returned to Alexander.

"You'll be the first to know." She said simply.

And that was why Althea had brought the two of them. They knew what they were doing, as simple as that. She smiled reassurance at Derek, and then nodded at Jade. Good.

.... at least he was being polite to her. And polite in general. Comparatively, even if he was, in her opinion, not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Strange. Hadn't he been a Ravenclaw himself?

She listened to the others speaking and made mental notes to speak with Rafa and Wes further on this.

Of course they were. They were HER employees. She'd hired them. Althea smiled slightly to herself and nodded at the summary.

What? No. Althea didn't get up to get anything. There wasn't anything healthy on that tray anyway. She'd rather have an apple, and besides, she'd just had lunch. Sort of.

"That would be good, Abi. Our lab is ready for any testing needed." She said, already making mental notes about it. Hopefully Derek was paying attention.

... and she really liked her cousin's suit.

Exactly. Althea had been about to mention something in relation to that St Mungos comment but the Minister made it absolutely clear, so hopefully that Junior Undersecretary wouldn't overstep his bounds.

She nodded once at the Minister as he left and then turned her attention to her own employees.

"Absolutely. Let me know if you need anything, Jade. And thank you." Althea nodded dismissively.

He was rather.... young and inexperienced wasn't he? Althea, hearing the Junior Undersecretary speak, leaned forward to address him. "Don't worry about it, that's my level's jurisdiction. Panic will only 'strike' if we cause it by kicking up a fuss. Accidents and Catastrophes can and WILL keep this from spreading, as needed. However, if the Level one media liasions wish to speak with my Obliviator and response teams that would be acceptable, and I encourage it. Additionally, my liaisons will endeavour to keep the Ministers Office informed as needed."She included Amoroso in the following statement, "We can arrange an interdepartment meeting at your leisure, gentlemen."

And had Thea noticed Isobel acting... off? Yes. But it wasn't her place to say anything. She did shoot an anxious sort of look over at her.... friend, but Wes was right there taking care of matters. It DID make her more determined that this thing be fixed though.

She stood up and made her excuses, then left. She had work to do and they all knew where to contact her.

Victoria watched as the meeting came to an end. Well that was confusing and at the same time a bit interesting. She wasn't sure if she even helped only saying a few things. Looking at everyone she didn't know if she should get up or not. Well she guessed since others were leaving she needed to head back to her level and get back to working at that schedule.

Getting up from her chair she smiled to the ones still in the room and looked at her boss. "Shall I head back to our level or do you need me for anything else?" She didn't want to leave if she was still needed, but didn't want to stick around if she wasn't suppose to either.

Actually, now that he thought about it, she didn't look very happy right now.... perhaps that was why she was using his forbidden first name...

Wes turned away and motioned for Izzy to get up, not letting her see him wince when she shouted. "Sorry. I just... I need you to come on, darling. Let's go. I have something to show you. Won't take but a minute." He needed to get her out of here, before something worse happened. Before whispers started going around about the head of the Department of Mysteries. "I'll contact Tasha for you, all right?" Wes gently put a guiding hand on her elbow. "There's nothing for you to worry about. Logan and Scott will be fine. We'll uh, we'll get Sherman to keep an eye on Level 9 for ya."

Nothing they couldn't handle. They were Fergusons, after all. Hardy folk.

Well even the Courtroom was having drama. It kinda looked cute and funny at the same time, in Lulu's point of view. Amusing it was to see one of the department heads go against another in a non-brutal way. Lulu's attention was only caught when Minister Greingoth had left for a meeting with another Prime Minister and her employee, Victoria Maroon, asking for her permission to leave.

"Yes, you may head back to Level Seven, Ms. Maroon," Lulu replied with a smile. She didn't want Victoria to keep waiting since the little meeting was done. The only thing that kept Lulu here, once again, was the drama. It sure was entertaining. Then Lulu looked back to her employee. "And while you're at it, you may also start with the job tasks. I've posted new ones ever since the 'illness' started spreading rapidly." The blonde nodded. Well, safety measures first.

Victoria looked around, was this how meetings always went. Her head was spinning,maybe some coffee could help. Looking back at Lulu she smiled, "Please, Call me Victoria." She was still getting use to having her maiden name back and it was a hard adjustment. Something caught her eye and she looked back at two of the employees across the table, were they arguing.. Hmmm they seemed maybe married. It was none of Victoria's business, so she tried to turn away from it.

She was about to get up and head to her own level when Lulu caught her attention again. "Oh.. I must have missed that, I will get on that task right away." She gave a smile to anyone who might notice and then turned, but stopped and turned back to her boss. "I think I'm going to stop at the cart for some coffee, would you like me to pick you up some. This was a lot to take in." Maybe it wasn't for her, she was probably use to it, but it wasn't a bad thing to ask, right..

"I'll call you what I like." Isobel snapped back, her hands fisting. She was not a happy bunny right now. She probably would've tried to punch him or something, or you know verbally shouted at him. But he was her husband, and she couldn't do that. He might have been annoying her so much right now but he was her husband, and she loved him. Even if he had stolen her wand she still loved him so much. Maybe she shouldn't have left her second wand down in mysteries. That had been a bad idea.

She sighed, knowing exactly what he was going to do with her. She had that stupid disease didn't she? There was no other reason why he'd be taking her up to level 2. "Are you gonna lock me up?" And by that she meant the holding cells. She really should've brought that other wand. She knew all the spells to the holding cells, but she couldn't exactly do anything when she didn't have her wand. "They better be fine..." Because her babies were her life. She sighed, resisting the urge to rest her head on her husband's arm. If she had that disease, she really did not want Wesley to get it. If he did who would look after their little babies.

Just like Mariel. Her new employee insisted on being called by her first name, Victoria. "Oh I'm sorry," Lulu apologized. Maybe she should drop the formality for now and control it whenever she felt like she wanted to blurt it. Gosh, there was a lot to adjust to here in London. Hopefully all the changes will be worth it at the end, cause Lulu wanted to change. Yes, to change for the better.

"Alright, Victoria," Lulu said. That was her first time to address her employee with the first name, besides Mariel. Did Lulu need anything? Yes, to finish her documents at the office. Besides that, there was practically nothing. "Oh no, I don't need anything. You make yourself at home at the Coffee Cart." The blonde nodded to her employee. Since Victoria will be working on Level 7, people were going to start treating it as home.

Courtroom Seven.

Jory went right in, glancing around as he did so. Apparently he was the first one there. Neither had the boss man arrived yet nor had the other YATIs. That was probably a good thing. He could use the time to get rid of his bad mood.

He adjusted himself in one of the very comfortable seats. This was a whole lot of improvement to the corridor. At least he didn't have to strain his eyes to see around here. Jory in haled and exhaled deeply. He need to think of happy stuff. Or the person that made him happy and that person would be Ronnie. He wondered how she was doing back at work.

And she was here. Still carrying her coffee. Because apparently, she was going to need it.

One person who wasn't here yet though was her boss. Nope, just a fellow YATI. "Can you believe that guy? First day, and he's already treating us like crap," Sky said, taking a seat in the row behind fellow YATI guy as per movie theater/stadium/etc. rules of politeness. Setting an example for Chosen? Perhaps.

So this was courtroom seven.

Seemed pretty nice. Although considering they'd already been kicked out of having desks, Penelope almost wondered if they were even allowed to sit in the nice chairs. So, after reaching the area Jory and Sky were already seated, she opted to stand next to them for now. Easier to talk with both of them this way anyway.

"Sorry you got kicked out of your desk, Jory," she said. She wouldn't blame him if he was annoyed, considering he was in his third year and still lost it because of someone new. She probably would've been really annoyed if the roles were reversed.

"Hope this meeting goes better. Teamwork and all." Hard to build a team if they were all constantly put down after all.

Tyler strolled in casually (as was his usual)...hands buried deep in his pockets, frown in place. He'd laughed dryly when that man told him it was best he shut his mouth. It was all really unfunny to him, so much so that he had to laugh.

But he was here...because head git or not..he was here to become an auror....even if he'd have to get back at the guy at the end of the day.

The other YATI members were already there..some seated. He glanced at them all and then leaned against the wall arms folded.

Where was the guy anyways?

By the time the next YATI showed up, Jory was back to himself. It had to be something about this room. It was really comfortable. "Hey, Sky,'' he said with a slight smile. He was now wondering what the new YATI members were thinking of the boss man's little speech. Especially the part with the skills. "Makes you wonder what's in store for the rest of the year, huh?''

Penelope had arrived. "So am I. Hey, we'll just find us the softest bit of floor at the Office and work.'' Jory wasn't much one for making jokes but hopefully it'll help lift a bit of the tension because they next YATI member had arrived. The one that caused all the trouble.

Jory paid him no attention for now. Maybe he was still stewing a bit but he did hear what Penelope said about team work and he was inclined to agree. However, he knew one thing for sure: He'd get along with her and Sky just fine.

Once he was ready for the meeting (it took a bit of his time to be properly ready for it in the loo just because of natural..stuff) Josh walked in courtroom seven and looked around a bit with a smile on his face. Ah..Legend was not in the room yet which meant he was not late. He supposed that was good. The YATIL walked farther into the room making his presence seen by everybody.

He was not a morning person yet he could be cheerful during the early mornings, he had that characteristic. Not always though. Eh...his dark brown eyes gazed at all the YATIs in the room. Were these all of them? He supposed not. If Legend wasn't in the room then he thought there was always time for others to show up. ''Oh well..." he said taking a deep breath "I bet no one here can tell me something much more joyful than relieving yourself of the urge to pee after holding it for so long."

Yeah. That was right and he bet they knew it as well.

Legend had purposely taken the long route to get to the courtrooms. He had even stopped and observed one of the peculiar looking bricks for a few minutes. Not because he cared about the brick at all, but because if someone wasn't there when he showed up, that would mean that he'd have to...punish them when they DID show up.

And he really didn't want to.

Finally the blond made his way through the courtroom door, with a file or two in hand just as Josh spoke up. "Actually to be honest with you I'm pretty sure that's the real meaning of life." To experience how to felt to pee after holding it in for so long.

Yup. Anywho, "Please take a seat if you haven't already. Might be the only time you're allowed to sit on something comfortable at all in the next year or so." Legend didn't sit himself though. Where would he, in the seat of the chief Warlock? Pssh.

"So I want you guys to tell me about yourselves. Things I wouldn't know by looking at at your files." Except for Josh. Josh was here for later. Though he could tell him stuff as well. Maybe this would explain to him why some of them were so thick headed.

Legend finally walked in so it was time now. The Head Auror's comment about his words about peeing surely made Josh grin widely. Yeah, such pleasure might actually be the meaning of life. Life would have been really boring without pleasure, right? And the loved ones yet that had nothing to do with peeing.

Whatever...

Looking around, Josh settled down on the chair nearest to him and his dark brown eyes watched the YATIs as Legend spoke. The head auror wanted them to tell him about themselves. Eh...Josh supposed Legend knew him enough including the stuff in his file and perhaps more. Maybe the question was directed to only to the YATIs. Yet, still, Josh Carter could mention something that no one could find in any of the files.

''I'm kind of getting better at handling three children and not feeling like i fought dementors all day."

He was quite sure that he had been done with wizard prep yeears ago...well over ten years to be honest. Tell us about yourself was definitely a wiz-prep sort of thing.

Fat head wanted to know things but there was nothing that wasn't on his file that he wanted to tell. He could always make something up though, or he could wait until the others answered and rip something off.

"I surf when I can."

That was truth and that was not on his file. Also, no thanks, he did not want to sit.

Jory bit back a laugh about the YATIL and the peeing. He could think of something better. Going home to your girlfriend after a crappy day at work. Eyes on you, new YATI guy. Mercifully the other boss man showed up just then.

Legend's question reminded him of being back in school when on the first day of class they would ask you to state a little about yourself. It even had Jory wondering whether or not he should stand. But boss man did say to sit so seated he shall remain.

So what should he say? "I haven't got a problem with authority.'' Unlike some people. Heh.

So......Chosen wanted them to tell him something about themselves that wasn't on their file. Welp, at least he was now trying to be nice, it seemed. Though his comment about comfortable seating got a scowl from her. We'll just see about that, Chosen.

Anyway, what could she say that wasn't in her file yet wasn't too personal? While she thought on that, the one leader guy, Jory and Tyler started them off and, well. Their leader said he had kids. He seemed a bit too young for that, since he couldn't be much older than herself, right? 26 or 27 at the most. And it seemed like Jory was still peeved about losing his desk, if his offering was anything to go by. Pathetic. "I have excellent aim." And there lay an answer to a mystery from her file. Smirk.

Aside from a few things, Penelope decided she liked this place so far. A lot of these people were amusing, and she approved. At least it meant it wasn't always totally serious and talking down to people and all that. Good sign.

She took a seat and considered what to say about herself. What did she feel like sharing that wasn't on her file but also wasn't too personal? Hmm.

Listening to the others' answers, and again amused by the response from Jory, it seemed they were all pretty simple answers. So she'd stick with something simple about herself too. "I have three cats."

Don't all talk at once now. Legend waited folding his arms for someone to speak first.

Josh. He loved you mate.

As for the three kids. Merlin, sometimes Legend forgot about the number of Josh's offspring. Like, three. That was more than 1/3 of a Quidditch team right there. "I'd rather fight dementors." True story.

He didn't know which one of the YATI's would speak first, but he didn't expect it to be Bellaire. A surfer? Legend's brows went up. That was interesting. "I could see that." Though the other man was way too uptight for the surfer lifestyle.

Next was Jory and Legend snorted and held up a thumb. Good job dude.

Legend laughed. Really. Out loud. Sky. Yeah. The other troubled one. It was a dry laugh and the man rolled his eyes and looked over to Josh. "That's cool." Big headed this one was. Oh well, he'd be the judge if she was telling the truth or not.

And lastly the was one who hadn't said a word since he had seen her. What was her named again? Err- he smiled anyways. Hehe. Wasn't she a little young to be filling her house with cats? "Cat lady huh?"

"So that was interesting. Sorta." The sorta was there for Sky. Because really, what? "So the reason we are here, and the reason I basically asked that of you is because one, I want to get to know you. If you're actually able to tough it out, i'll be seeing your face every day for the next three to four years. So yeah, getting to know you all will be important. But more importantly-"

"I wanted to get your minds open for something we do a bit here. Profiling." He raised his hand and pointed to Josh. "I want you all to get together, spend ten minutes looking at Josh. I'm assuming that all you know about him now is that....his name is Josh....he's your leader....he has three kids...and a weak bladder."

Sorry dude, you put it out there. They could possibly know more, but Legend wasn't sure."I want you to try to piece together his history. When did you think he joined the MLE? How old is he really? More importantly his weakness, his strengths. Where he would keep his wand. What tactic would work best to take him down. But remember there needs to be theory and reasoning behind your answers." He raised both hands up. "Ten minutes. And although you are all working together, the person who comes up with the most useful bit will be recognized." Hmmm. Yeah... That was about it. "You guys can start now."

He looked over at Josh and grinned. More loo stories then?

ooc: Sooo I'd just figure it would be fun to give the YATI's something to do so they could interact on their first day yeah? (especially since it could get kind of boring in the office) If you are too busy and don't want to play then that's cool you don't have to!!!

What interesting facts about his fellow YATI. Jory would be sure to remember them. They might come in handy sometime, who knows.

He got a thumps up for his reply? Well that was unexpected but he smirked. Boss man obviously approved of it. Jory decided he was going to like Chosen, after all. He listened to the man as he continued to speak. Jory nearly laughed again at the weak bladder part. Poor Josh.

So they just had to stare at their Leader? No thanks. Jory had seen the man for a couple of years, he knew what he looked like. "His weakness is his family,'' he said to Sky and Penelope when Chosen had given them the go ahead. Was Tyler hearing him from his post at that wall? But back to his reasoning. "He chose to let us know about his kids and the progress he was making with them. Come to think of it, they might be both his strength and weakness.''

So that was his take for now. Who's next?

Penelope grinned a little at the cat lady comment because, well, she was. She liked cats, yeah? They were pretty awesome, so why not have a few so long as you could take care of them all.

Ah, profiling. This would be interesting. Especially since Josh was the one they were using. Their leader guy with three kids and...a weak bladder. Right. Heh.

Work history, age, weaknesses, strengths, wand, tactics...lots of stuff to think about. At least they could work together. That was helpful.

And Jory got them started with some good thoughts. Penelope nodded thoughtfully. Family, and friends too, could definitely be a strength and weakness. What else? And what of the other stuff?

"And going off the family thing and also with being our leader, he's gotta have worked here for several years, so he's probably around his mid-twenties at least." Though she figured this more because of the leader thing than the family thing, considering the way some people seemed to rush right into marrying and having babies right out of Hogwarts. "Probably joined soon after graduating and went through the YATI program too, so including that, at least six or seven years of experience with this stuff."

That was what she had for now, but she continued thinking about the other stuff. Quietly though, so the others could add their thoughts and suggestions now too.
