history;

James was born in Ontaro, Canada while his parents were conducting a freelance photography shoot there. From then, his parents work took him far and wide. He never spent more than a year in any one place. A highly travelled, cultured boy, he spent only one year at Hogwarts, of which he was sorted into Ravenclaw. He spent another 2 years at Durmstrang, of which he found dull and boring.

He also went to school in America, France, Jordan, New Zealand and South America. He never particularly adored travelling, but it did open his mind up to the possibilities of the world.

He spent a few year in a Swiss finishing school, at which point he was informed that he had a sister. California and James were never very close - he was much older than her, but she currently resides at his apartment much to her dismay.

personality;

James is a confidant, over-indulgent and selfish man. While highly competitive and dedicated to his work, he's completely unreliable socially and romantically. Dismissive, irresponsible and looking more for a good time than stability. He doesn't particularly care for anyone but himself and he set's out to make sure that he is always looked after and cared for in any situation. This is accompanied by an ego which is both huge and easily wounded. He's handsome and he knows it. Always well-dressed and eloquent, James is extremely charming. While his vanity isn't oppressive, he is self-assured and over-confidant, perhaps to the point of being foolish.

James learnt to make friends quickly but was never very good at keeping them. A charismatic, exuberant child, James is a charmer even from a very young age. A fantastic manipulator and excessively competitive, the boy with a curiosity and determination to know everything about everyone, became a man. When he wants something, he can be extremely charming and likes to get what he wants when he wants.

Despite all this, he knows how to act the way people want him to and can be seen as two-faced simply because of his overwhelming desire to be liked.
