Horses Forever! l l Writer for Life l Yearbook alumnus Carin walked into the Divination classroom, trying to ignore the reluctance that was making her legs heavy. She wasn't a great fan of this subject, but, after all, she had made herself a promise that she'd excel in all her subjects - perhaps then her parents would have reason to notice her, really notice her. Besides, she was sure she could be good at even Divination, if she tried hard enough. "Good morning, Professor," she nodded at her teacher as she chose a seat somewhere in the middle of the classroom. This way, she hoped she wouldn't be so much in the front to draw the attention of the teacher to herself too much, or too far in the back to get too many of those annoying students who disrupted every class.
She hated those. They acted as if classrooms were just another playground, instead of the places to learn things.
