Default Review: Get Him to the Greek

Low-level record executive, Aaron Green (Jonah Hill), is sent to London to escort Aldous Snow (Russell Brand), an aging, self-destructive rock star whose career is on the outs, back to Los Angeles after convincing his boss, Sergio Roma, that he can make a mint by staging a comeback concert at the Greek Theater. The journey is peppered with several stops along the way at various night clubs in London, New York and Vegas, during which Aaron tries to get Aldous to act more responsibly and Aldous tries to get Aaron to party with him. During the trip, Aaron is constantly badgered by Sergio, hilariously played by Sean Combs, to keep Aldous in line and to deliver him safe and coherent in time for the concert.

There are loads of cameos in this film, everyone from Pink to Meredith Vieira turns up. Most notable to our readers would be the brief appearance of Tom Felton in one of the London nightclub forays. Standing near a bar, watching the crowd, Tom is approached by Aaron, who tries to impress the Harry Potter actor. Tom, however, is having none of it.

Quote:
Aaron: I’m at a table in the back with Aldous Snow.
Tom: Great.
Aaron: Feel free to bring Professor Snape.
Tom is unamused.
Aaron: We’ll play some late night Quidditch.
Tom: Leave it. (walks away)
