Mina could hardly contain herself. The nursery was open and she was going to see her little baby. She just hoped that she could get some quality time with her baby in before she had to run off to do more homework.

Quietly, she entered and looked for her name. The previous day, she had only gotten a glance at the cage with her name on it, but now that the nursery appeared empty, she could get some time to see her baby. Tip-toeing over to the cage, she smiled. Oh, there was her little knarl. The little baby was curled up in a ball, which made her slightly sad. Mina meant her no harm, but then again knarls were highly suspicious and she couldn't really blame her baby for being so.

Standing over the cage, she opened it and placed some berries down. "Hi sweetie. I'm Mina and I'm not here to hurt you. I want to be friends." she smiled as she kneeled before the cage and watched. Slowly, the little knarl uncurled itself and sniffed at the berries. Giving it a moment of thought, she started to move toward it. Cautiously, sniffing at berries still, she reached her tiny paws at a berry and pulled it toward her. Mina smiled at that. She was so adorable, Mina wanted to keep her forever, but she knew she couldn't. Watching her nibble on the berry, Mina smiled. Yes, she needed to name her baby.....Chloé. She looked like a Chloé.

Grabbing her journal, she opened it and started to write.

Setting her journal down, she smiled up at Chloé. She was now looking right at her and tilting her head. "Were those berry good, Chloé?" she asked as she moved to open the cage again. Maybe Chloé trusted her enough to let her pick her up now. Lowering her hand in to the cage, she moved it so Chloé could see she meant no harm. Chloé kind of blinked but didn't move away. That was a good sign for sure.

Slowly, she reached to pick Chloé and she almost appeared to hope right into her hand. Chloé seemed to like her. Pulling her completely out of the cage, Mina cradled her in her palm. Chloé looked like she trusted her and that was reassuring for Mina.
