Pushing his glasses up his nose with one hand, TJ half-limped back to the stall, obviously favouring his right leg. There were students there, students that had accumulated in the short time he'd spent wandering around looking for the box he'd brought with him.
The little owl figurines he'd been planning to give out were just plain gone. And he'd tripped over some loose animal, probably someone's pet, on his way back. Sigh. Trystan, a rather fit man on the second half of his thirties, had been incapacitated by a cat.
"Sully, being pleasant?" he asked with a grin, leaning on the table behind Furmgoat. The tawny was his favourite, he'd decided long ago. Stroking the wonky wing, he looked at the kids that were eyeing the owls. "You can give 'em a treat or a pat, or both."
He failed to mention that Furmgoat made efforts to poo on people when ignored.
Which was the reason TJ really really enjoyed him. Hehe. |
