Cadence ran and ran as quickly as she could, not wanting to leave Torin alone for very long. As she approached the hut, she began yelling for her Head of House. "Mr. Masterson! Mr. Masterson!" she shouted. When she got near enough to see the door, she saw that the man was already in the doorway, and she slowed down, not noticing there were about 4 other students standing there. That didn't matter right now. Her best friend needed help. "Mr. Masterson! Torin... he's hurt. On the pathway. He can't move. I think it's his back," she stammered quickly, tears welling up in her eyes again. "You were closer," she said simply, meaning this to be her explanation for why she didn't just run for the Healer.
