Post Harry Potter: The Exhibition Boston leg extended to Feb 28, 2010

Harry Potter: The Exhibition, which is currently situated in Boston, Massachusetts, has extended its run by a week. A press release has been published stating that the original end date of the east coast leg of the exhibition, February 21st, has been altered by a week; it will now close on Sunday, February 28th.



The extended hours of the exhibition are as follows:

  • Saturday, February 13 through Saturday, February 20, Harry Potter: The Exhibition and Museum exhibit halls are open 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 21 through Thursday, February 25, hours are: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Friday, February 26: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 27 – Sunday, February 28: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The reason for the extension, as Karen McTier, Executive Vice President, Domestic Licensing and Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros, states, is due to its massive popularity:

The next leg of the display will open on April 9, 2010 at The Ontario Science Centre in Canada.
