Post Harry Potter 2010 calendar reviews

With the new year nearing, it's time for fans to invest in calendars for 2010. Numerous Harry Potter 2010 calendars, created by Andrews McMeel Publishing, have been released already, but there's much more to come. To those who haven't bought calendars yet or might be considering it, we've given them a test try and will reveal what we think about them.

Harry Potter 2010 Day-to-Day calendar

Quote:
With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows being released late 2010, what better way to watch the entire series unfold than a day-to-day calendar chronicling the first six years of Harry, Ron, and Hermione's journey through Hogwarts and beyond? In the Harry Potter 2010 day-to-day calendar, hundreds of images from the first six movies are displayed, with small captions explaining the significance of the scenes in the series.

The best part of the day-to-day calendar, if you can help yourself, is that with every new day there is a surprise of what the next day's photo will be. Could it be an 11-year-old Harry Potter entering Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the very first time, or perhaps when Harry and Professor Dumbledore enter the cave possibly containing one of Voldemort's Horcruxes in Half-Blood Prince?

The fun and joy is that, no matter how young or old a Harry Potter fan is, they'll still wear a small smile on their face when they see the next day's photo as they tear it off the stand, remembering where exactly they were when they first saw that scene either in the big screen, DVD, or TV for the first time.

The day-to-day calendar will make every fan nostalgic of not only watching Harry, Ron, Hermione and all their peers grow up, but remembering that they followed and grew along with their favourite characters. A bittersweet treat for the biggest of fans, but a definite must-have for those who have loved Harry Potter's long, dangerous, and exhilarating adventure.

Harry Potter 2010 wall calendar

Quote:
The 2010 Harry Potter wall calendar puts a great focus on some of the most memorable posters and scenes from the first six films, including the time Harry catches the Golden Snitch for the very first time in Sorcerer's Stone and when he has to fight the Hungarian Horntail in the first task of the Triwizard Tournament.

The calendar has images of Harry, Ron, and Hermione from throughout the series, so it is quite something to see them go from adorable and eager-to-learn 11 year olds to mature, somewhat battle-scarred teenagers.

And of course, there is the ever-frightening image of Voldemort, wand in hand and murder in his heart.

Harry Potter 2010 Desk calendar

Quote:
What better daily planner can a die-hard Harry Potter fan have than the 2010 Desk calendar? Not only are there large, glossy photos from the first six Harry Potter films, but they sit side-by-side with a weekly calendar. On the planner sides of the calendar, large gaps are left for each day in which a person can write in their plans for any particular day, including appointments, homework assignments, or events they may be attending.

Various full-color shots from each of the first six Harry Potter films are displayed on each weekly page spread of this desk calendar. It has a gorgeous red faux-leather hard cover, is spiral bound and beautifully embossed, including each of the Hogwarts House symbols.

The desk calendar, since it is formatted as a spiral notebook, can easily be brought along in any backpack, purse, or carry-on bag. There's no better planner with a yearly calendar for Harry Potter fans than the 2010 desk calendar. The desk calendar is sturdy, the pages thick yet malleable, and the pages can easily be written on with a pencil, pen, or marker.

For those Harry Potter fans with the busiest schedules and a need to keep life in order, the 2010 desk calendar is the one to have.
