34. Parseltongue

Hannah frowned. What Ernie had said about Harry Potter being a parseltongue made sense, but he just seemed so nice.

All of a sudden, Neville Longbottom was glaring down at them, looking extremely angry, his face blotchy.

“I don’t care if Harry IS a parseltongue, I believe him when he said he didn’t do it!”

Hannah stared up at him, too shocked to say anything. All the colour drained out of his face and he ran for the door.

She’d always thought of him as a bit of a mouse, perhaps there was a Gryffindor lion in there after all.

Neville's line comes from Lissy's drabble.
