Post Harry Potter owl stars in Russian advert (UPDATED)

An owl used in the Harry Potter films has had a starring role in a new Russian commercial for a mobile phone operator. In it MTS are promoting their unlimited internet service. Both the advert and a behind-the-scenes look at how the film was made are available to view below;

The commercial was shot at the South Bank Studios and the Ealing Studios in London, England.

Thanks to Owl Post for the tip!

The basis of a new tv spot from MTC is the concept is of how a night predator like the owl turns into a young man who can spend all night on the Internet.

In this TV ad we used the same bird as in Harry Potter films.

*Ian Thomas interview*

It was hard to work with such rare and birds of prey. But the result was worth the efffort. It is an unusual TV spot. We hope that viewers will have as much fun watching it as much as we did making it.
