Eurgh. That, as Mona had suspected, had gone as perfectly and as horribly as could be expected. Too many of the new people were loud and obnoxious and they thought they could--goodness, stand up to Getti. As if she had been insulting them!! Mrs Greenwood sure was touchy; Getti had not, in fact, insulted anyone in that particular gathering. She insulted their old staff, and expressed her hope that the new staff would not need the same insulting. From Getti, that was practically a compliment. Aaaand, Mona hadn't insulted anyone either! People who did not work at the Daily Prophet were indeed commoners. Derrr. And neither was anything wrong with being common, per se. It wasn't like being a Muggle, or a Squib, Merlin forbid. And Sergio's vile cologne was, hopefully, not natural, or she was sure to break out in hives. HIVES. These people...lacked subtlety.

Wheeeeeze.

In preparation for her impending hive-inducing, threat-to-her-indispensable health chat with Sergio, Mona picked up her wand and placed a Bubble Head Charm around her stuffed-up, balloony-feeling head. Her features distorted through the charm, she breathed in sweet untainted air.

Ahhhh. Worth it.
