He only took two steps away from the door to look for the source of the deadly energy waves. To his right was Mona, That Woman and some newbie. Keeping his distance, Ian observed the scene from his spot, having absolutely no intentions of becoming Forde's or Mona's targets.

Eyes downcast on his arm as he poked the red bite marks with his fingers, Ian hummed. "Don't you just love the smell of fresh meat in the mornings?" It could only be beaten by that Colombian blend he desperately needed to sneak into the break room.

Just thinking about the break room made him shudder. Brushing off the sudden sensation of disgust, Ian shook his shoulders briefly. Leaning against the door frame of the work area, Ian raised his hand pretending deep interest as he meticulously observed his nails.

A manicure was in order. He'd have to call Sammy to write him in.

"First rule of the Headquarters, newbies," called out Ian in a near bored tone. "You don't go to The Boss. The Boss comes to you."
