When Angelina turned around to answer to Reagan’s question, the woman was already leaving the room.
Angelina smiled while she observed her boss leaving. “Er.. sure.” she said, even though she was sure that Reagan couldn’t hear her.
The young woman turned around and kept writing the minister’s names when she heard someone entering the room.
She thought that it was Reagan, but then she heard the minister’s wife voice.
Angelina could imagine why Reagan didn’t say anything to Clara.
Obvious answer.. she thought to herself.
Coffee?
Angelina couldn’t help think that Clara Belle must have passed by a thousand places where she could have asked for a coffee.. maybe when coffee was given to her by some ministry worker it tasted better.
She turned around with a smile on her lips. “Good morning. she said while she took a step forward. “I’ll be right back. I’m going to get your coffee.
That was not what Angelina was expecting to do as Junior Assistant.. but oh well.
