Becca continued to drink ample amounts of the sparkling lemonade. After her fourth glass she spotted the tray of cookies. "Oh man, a win and cookies. Could this get any better?!" Must be house elf cookies, she figured, since the other girls had told her those were the best.
In the middle of stuffing half of the next cookie into her mouth, she heard a curiously enchanting sounding voice approach her. Becca tilted her head slightly to look up at an amazing figure. Seriously - he was pretty dazzling. Why was he talking to her? She scanned him up and down for a brief moment before realizing he was a Hufflepuff. Oh great. He was probably there to pound her for beating them. Ha... beating. Get it? She was a beater?
...Yeah...
Becca took a few seconds to chew what she figured was probably the last cookie of her life. She swallowed gently, letting the food slide down into her stomach before clearing her throat. "Hello, sir. And what can I do for you?" Hmm. If she was going to die, why was he smiling at her so sweetly? It didn't make sense for some older student, a Hufflepuff nonetheless, to be talking to her. At least when she died the last thing she would see was a handsome face. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
Kingston smiled even more at the little girl. She seemed to be a little shocked to see him there. Obviously, she seemed to be a little terrified that he'd do something to her. Kingston could tell by the look on her face. Running his hand through his golden locks, his blue eyes twinkled as he told her, "My, my, what wonderful manners you have."
"But what can you do for me? Now that is an amusing question, Miss. I'd say nothing. I am not interested in anything." Kingston then pocketed both his hands and beamed. "I merely saw you standing by yourself and though I could keep you company. It's wrong to leave a miss such as yourself alone."
