Professor Vindictus placed his wand to his throat and began speaking to the crowded stadium. "Welcome to the Quidditch Cup Championship game! Give Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw a round of applause as they take to the field!"

The sound of the cheers was deafening as both teams flew out onto the pitch behind the lead of their captains. For a good five minutes, both teams circled the pitch before taking their positions overhead.

"The winner of this game will win the Quidditch Cup," he continued after the cheering died down. He pointed to the staff stands where a silver cup sat shining brightly on a deep purple cloth. He put his wand away and began speaking to the teams that were overhead in his normal voice.

"Now, I want a clean game. Remember to play your positions and try to avoid any flagrant fouls." Vindictus flicked his wand at the large equipment box and it opened, releasing the Bludgers and Snitch into the air. "Hufflepuff made a change in their roster after posting it in the locker room, thus Ravenclaw will be rewarded ten points."

He pulled out the Quaffle. "The first Quaffle is up for grabs - only the Chasers may touch it (answer it). Ready? Three . . . two . . . one!" A shrill whistle was heard and the Quaffle was tossed into the air.
