Dora and Lupin were meant to be together, the war just pushed them to get going. I was jumping up and down shouting my head off when I read they got married, then when the baby was born I completely flipped out...then cried my head off when they died, it was so tragic yet necessary in a sad way. They knew Ted would grow up in a new changed world, one without Voldemort, one with love and peace, which is what they wanted for him.
