After she set herself down in a seat and got her book out, she looked up towards the board and nodded, then opened it to page 10. Draught of the Living Death, they had learned something about it in the past, she knew and remembered that much, but getting to make it would be fun.

"Having a good day, so far, professor?" she asked with a smile and wiggled her legs around under the desk.

Adam smiled at the Slytherin prefect. "Hello AJ, yes my day has been rather good so far, spent most of the morning brewing up this baby here" he said, patting the top of the cauldron in front of him. He rolled up his shirt sleeve, grabbed the giant spoon he used to stir and gave the potion another two stirs, causing it to turn from pale lilac to almost completely clear.
