Pokémon We are just days away from the start of the ninth generation of Pokémon, with Scarlet and Violet set to release on November 18th, 2022. Pokémon has been delighting us all since 1996 with the franchise offering mediums of enjoyment for all fans, whether you were someone who liked playing the card game, watching the animated television series or movies, or if you were a gamer who enjoyed getting to play as a Pokémon trainer! |
I've been having a lot of fun with the newest game so far! I got Pokémon Violet, and I picked Sprigatito, and I'm really enjoying all of the new stuff so far. I'm still pretty early in the game with a couple gym badges and I've faced one of the new Titan Pokémon, and I love the open world feel even more than I thought I would. It's such a new feeling for a Pokémon game that I keep forgetting it's even a thing. I keep thinking the game will stop me with some kind of barrier that I have to get an HM for  I'm also enjoying the story so far. I love that we're a student at school, and our adventure is part of that. And the characters are fun so far too. I wasn't sure at first, but Arven might be my favorite of them right now. He just cracks me up  |
So honestly, I have not yet gotten one of the new games but that is changing today and I am SO excited!! I hear there are some graphics glitches but considering this is their first open world (although I hear Arceus is also a pseudo open world??) That's to be expected, I think. Does anyone find the graphic glitching is impacting their joy of the game? The story really does sound so new and fresh and I'm looking forward to getting into it! Looking at the Starters too I feel so torn  Quaxley and Fuecoco are SO cute, and I do generally prefer water but.... Sprigatito is a kitty. And such a cute one!! :butshy: so I'll probably go that route as well. Who has been your MVP pokémon on your team so far, B? |
