I loved Fuller House!! ^^^^ I’m all caught up now though.

I did just binge the entire first season of Roswell New Mexico, which is super good but also intense!

And I’m a few episodes in to What If.. not sure if I’m liking it though.

I think I'm on like season two of Fuller House. I enjoy it but I can't watch it straight through cause of my mixed feelings of nostalgia and remorse and wishing I'd done things differently in my 20s :upside:
(Although mind you i was in junior high / elementary school when I used to watch the original series)

I quite enjoy Grace & Frankie. Super hilarious:yes:

Can't wait for season 3 of The Crown!

hjhm 07-30-2019 06:37 PM

Currently watching or waiting for more seasons for Lucifer and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

DeanThomassSpectacle 08-24-2019 05:09 AM

I watched the first episode of 'Lucifer'. I am going to continue watching, but it was not interesting enough to jump to the front of my queue.

qoldenwonder 01-27-2020 08:03 PM

I finished watching season 3 of chilling adventures of Sabrina recently. I'm now waiting on To all the boys: Ps. I still love you :x3:!

Anyone got any good reccommendations for me? I'm in the mood for a series, and all of my friends are suggesting Love Is Blind but I feel a little "meh" about that so... I'm turning to you lovely lot!

I just finished Locke and Key, and October Faction, of the two i like the latter better. Also I put on Virgin River as background noise and ended up binging that, enjoyed it more than I expected.

sweetpinkpixie 03-14-2020 06:23 AM

I'm currently watching Abstract: The Art of Design and it is fascinating

Cassirin 12-21-2020 02:02 AM

There are a ton of new shows on Netflix since this thread was last active, but what I really want to know is what holiday movies on Netflix is anyone watching?

I've caught the Princess Switch (and the new sequel) and I'm onboard with the theory of the Netflix Christmas Cinematic Universe (where the royals from Christmas Prince showed up in the Princess Switch sequel and there's other crossover that suggests there are a LOT of unknown countries floating around Europe and tons of Vanessa Hudgens dopplegangers). Anyone watched any they love (or hate)?

sweetpinkpixie 12-21-2020 03:41 AM

^ I have not seen any of those

"We Are the Champions" is a FUN little watch and I now know that dog dancing is a thing and my life feels more complete with this knowledge

Harron Peasley 12-21-2020 03:10 PM

I have not seen ANY of the Netflix Christmas films (confession: I've not seen a lot of Christmas films generally). I do enjoy this idea of a Netflix Christmas Cinematic Universe, though :xd: that is very amusing.

As for We Are the Champions, again, not something I've seen but it's got DOGS DANCING so that's going straight onto my watch list.

I have just finished The Queen's Gambit though, which I absolutely adored - I didn't expect a lot from it because all I'd heard was 'chess', but an SSer said that it was worth a watch and I absolutely concur! It made me want to learn to play chess, too.

I have NOT yet watched the Princess Switch but I have been thinking about getting into those.

I DID watch The Holidate, starring Alexa Cambridge, and I enjoyed that one.

My BIG REC for you though is Dash & Lily. And here's a review I wrote of it just for you when I was feeling very silly.

SPOILER!!: to be read in the voice of Stefan from SNL and he's worth a google if you dunno him

If you enjoyed the Princess Switch, you will definitely fall head-over-heels for this adorable young adult rom-com starring the girl from those Liberty Mutual car insurance commercials (Brad! We loved Brad!) and Great Value Timothee Chalamet.

Book lovers and SSRPG addicts will rejoice as they discover that living out a collaborative writing project can result in two opposites finally attracting (and meeting!) IRL. Buckle up for a semi-unrealistic but very charming Christmas in New York, pre-Covid-19. Dash & Lily will melt the heart of any Grinch, and best of all, is a rare rom-com executive produced by the Jonas Brothers! (Or at least one of them. I don't know which. Nick, maybe?) This short series has it all: drag queens; ugly sweaters; strict grandpas; the underground Jewish rock and roll scene; excessively fancy teen holiday parties; an amazing bookstore; the Rockefeller center skating rink; and real Crazy Rich Asians.

Put on your red boots and grab a cup of cocoa as you settle in for a sweet, well-written time. I watched this entire series on a Friday night when I was feeling grumpy and it completely turned my mood around. Highly recommend you do the same!

Has anyone watched Lucifer? I went through the first 4.5 seasons in A WEEK. I'm very excited for the second part of season 5 this year. :whaa:

I am OBSESSED with Lucifer. It's such a brilliant idea for a show and I think the casting is absolutely perfect for it, too - it really shows what a fantastic actor Tom Ellis is as it's such a different character compared to previous roles. The show is SO witty and entertaining and I can't wait for the next part.

Ghiocei1989 02-24-2021 01:14 PM

I have a debit card from work that I can use and I could swap Netflix for Tubi on my debit card. I would probably watch documentaries and historical stuff. I don't really watch movies that much ( of course, that would depend on the movie itself and what it would be about, I am definitely picky about movies!! ) and tv shows, not sure, I dont have the time to put it into watching it since Im working and spending time outside of the real world. But definitely movies and documentaries are my pick. xD

DeanThomassSpectacle 12-25-2021 05:07 PM

Not sure if it's on Netflix, but I zoomed through the first three full seasons of Hell's Kitchen. Can't wait to catch up on it.

FearlessLeader19 01-30-2022 01:56 AM

Has anyone watched Tick, Tick... Boom! ??? I'm not really a fan of musicals but my gosh. THIS MOVIE IS PERFECT. Andrew Garfield is a genius both at his acting and vocals. And the soundtrack? BRILLIANT since the songs written by the real Johnathan Larson were used.

I highly recommend this movie

If you haven't watched Heartstopper as yet, you should! It's based off a series of graphic novels and follows a group of friends. Though season one was released only yesterday, 22nd April, 2022, I've seen numerous praise on social media for it because of its LGBTQIA+ content. It's such a cute show! Gosh, I can't stop gushing about it :loved:

La_Luna 08-25-2022 08:40 PM

Been binging 'Never Have I Ever' off late :loved:

FearlessLeader19 08-30-2022 06:15 AM

The Sandman is a series I would highly recommend, especially if you're into the supernatural stuff! Though it hasn't been said officially about a renewal for season 2, Neil Gaiman has stated that he has commenced work on it.

I found the storylines to be quite capitvating and Dream to be quite dreamy  There's a bonus episode as well, the first part of it being animation.

Chelliephone 10-05-2022 03:24 AM

This thread is so helpful for finding stuff to watch! Ugh, love it!

Some of my favorite Netflix releases are Dead to Me (more of an irreverant comedy, which are my jam), Always Be My Maybe is not particularly a GREAT movie but it always makes me chuckle and I really love the cast. And Eurovision. There's not the adequate words to explain how much I enjoyed Eurovision in all it's odd glory. This is one my husband and I watch fairly often on repeat, as he was a big fan as well.

Outside of those above, I also think netflix does original korean dramas REALLY well and I could go on and on about the list of my favorites of those. Most notably is It's Okay To Not Be Okay and Extraordinary Attorney Woo, which I would highly recommend!

Bazinga 12-01-2022 06:40 PM

Wednesday! It is amazing!

FearlessLeader19 12-01-2022 06:58 PM

Young Royals!!! It's a must see!

An LGBTQIA+ show revolving around the Crown Prince of Sweden and a civilian, and the consequences after they were outed by the Crown Prince's cousin. What I love about this show is that being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community isn't the issue the show revolves around, but rather how the Monarchy of Sweden influences all that's happened to the couple.
