As a lot of you know, my hastag-unpopular-opinion is that Lexi Grey annoys me. But I also used to dislike Meredith until Buzzfeed told me I was her. As for guest stars, I adored Kyle Chandler and wished his character had been in more episodes.
Christina Yang also gifted us with one of my favourite quotes ever: "He may be dreamy, but he is not the sun. You are."
I've actually just started rewatching it from the beginning and MY do they look young!

I'm behind on season 15 but I don't know if I could do another watch through right now. I just finished one in August. I'm still #teamMcSteamy as for character.

Apparently this show just beat ER in number of episodes and that's INSANE. I haven't watched since McDreamy died (and maybe even before, since the start of season nine? I think?) because that hurt ME TOO MUCH.
I love how quotable the show is, and now you've made me want to go hunt down my favourite quote from it!
Another fun fact, the show's theme song (back when it had a theme song) was my first ever ringtone

Grey's Anatomy is the first series that I have religiously followed since my third year in university until now... though I haven't followed the latest season yet. My favorite OG intern so far is Yang and her infamous quote "Screw beautiful, I'm brilliant! If you want to appeased me, compliment my brain."

I think so too! Alex by far is the most developed character on this series. He and Cristina tbh while Meredith... eh, idk.
Christina is also my fave! She’s so empowering.
Alex is an onion and I’m obsessed with his many layers.

Sorry, but I think Alex and Mer are good are best friends. He's good with his life now and I think he's the less messy of all among the characters now.
And I love that nowadays season of Grey's brings up the current issue like
in season 14 they brought up about domestic violence issue with bring up Jo's abusive ex husband. Also in season 14 about how April questioning her faith.
In season 15 they also brought up about sexual assault issue with a patient and the fact Jo's mother was a victim.

Omg I’m watching it right now and I’m a sobbing mess like all the touch issues.
While I secretly want that I totally agree with the best friends. I feel like after all but then left the show it was bound to happen. It was a slow train to that point.
After hearing a lot about this show, I decided to give it a chance. I want to keep watching, but I find most of the characters to be completely insufferable. I know I have only seen the first episode and intend to give it a chance, but that was easily one of the worst pilots I have ever seen.

For someone who loves the show so much, it always surprises people that I, too, hated the very first episode. For years people were telling me to watch Grey's, that I'd love it, etc, but I could never get passed the first fifteen minutes. I think it was about the 3rd attempt that did it for me - I pushed myself through the first episode and fell in love on the second.

The first episode is ridiculously hard to get through. Some of the other seasons were terribly hard for me to get through too. But I pushed through and eventually fell in love then like then love them like I’m so invested I want to see this through for now.

I think my thing is I just don’t care about her relationship with Derek, like at all. The stuff with the doctor getting chosen to assist in his first major surgery, and that kind of thing was really interesting. But starting it the way they did was an awful idea.

I hope this is something they address in the next season, honestly - because I adore Bailey and I want her to fight for Meredith the way that the whole hospital fought for her. It just seems out of character for her to be so callous.

THIS. I agree wholeheartedly - as much as I grew to love Meredith and Derek's relationship, it was definitely something that grew. I was in the show for the first year doctors, for the medical dramas and the competition of the interns, wayyyyyy less about the romance. Although, like I said, I did grow to love them SO MUCH.
I agree that I could probably grow to at least tolerate it, but him being her superior just immediately makes me dislike the idea to begin with, it’s just too uncomfortable for me. It makes me not really respect Meredith right away because it seems like she’ll just sleep with whoever (she didn’t even know what his job was?). Like, give me an episode to get to know the characters before I care about who they have in their beds.
