Jan waited after finishing writing, looking over at others to see how they were doing before the lesson progressed. He listened as Ms. Urquhart discussed the importance of Apparition and what they'd be focusing on today. Ah.. the 3 D's.

Jan debated on writing the answer down, seemed like a good thing to add on. But he rose his hand to share in the end, "Determination is your full-focus. It's combining the will and concentration together, in this case, on where your destination is. Without the determination, you could end up like Emma said elsewhere or splinching part of yourself from a stray mind."
